Kelly Rowland taps Nasri Atweh, Jeff Gitty for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Kelendria Trene Rowland, known professionally as Kelly Rowland, has tapped Nasri Atweh and Jeff Gitty for a new collaboration.

Nasri’s songwriting resume boasts works with Justin Bieber (“As Long As You Love Me”), Halsey (“Not Afraid Anymore”), Chris Brown (“Don’t Judge Me”), Bebe Rexha (“I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”), Tinashe (“Flame”), Sabrina Claudio (“Don’t Let Me Down”) and Chloe x Halle (“Happy Without Me”).

Meanwhile, Gitty is responsible for producing Amer Mark’s “What If,” Camila Cabello’s “All These Years,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” Jacob Banks’ “Photograph,” Kirby Lauryen’s “Vain,” H.E.R.’s “As I Am,” Trey Songz’s “She Lovin’ It,” Kali Uchis’ “Gotta Get Up,” and Tommy Genesis’ “Lucky.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rowland is expected to release the follow-up to 2013’s “Talk a Good Game” later this year via Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional contributions from Da Internz, Mick Schultz, J. Que, The Stereotypes, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, Darhyl Camper, Prince Charlez, Ray BLK, Nana Rogues, Black Coffee, Raye, Mike Sabath, Sounwave, Eric Hudson, and The Rascals.

Rowland’s current single “Crown” – which was co-written by Colby O’Donis, Varren Wade, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, and Edgar “Johnny Velvet” Etienne – is now available via all other digital streaming outlets.

Eric Hudson has teased a new collaboration with Kelly Rowland.

“Ran into my sis @kellyrowland lastnight .. been knowing her for YEARS … one of the most down to earth and humble people ever! And she’s LEGENDARY! #studiotime #albumtimeclassicscoming !,” the American record producer and songwriter posted to Instagram on Friday (May 18, 2019).

Hudson’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), Omarion (“Entourage”), Whitney Houston (“Worth It”), Trey Songz (“Without a Woman”), Brandy (“Bring it Back”), Justin Timberlake (“Morning Light”), Mary J. Blige (“Why”) and August Alsina (“Benediction”).

American singer, songwriter, and actress Kelly Rowland has enlisted Raye, Mike Sabath, and Sounwave for a new collaboration.

British recording artist Raye (born Rachel Keen) previously co-wrote for John Legend (“A Good Night”), Ellie Goulding (“Sixteen”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Capital Letters”), Rita Ora (“Proud”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

Meanwhile, Soundwave and Mike Sabath have collectively produced cuts for Kali Uchis (“Tyrant”), Liam Payne (“Familiar”), Little Mix (“Wasabi”), The Weeknd (“Pray for Me”), Madison Beer (“Hurts Like Hell”), Kendrick Lamar (“All the Stars”), Bea Miller (“It’s Not U, It’s Me”) and Raleigh Ritchie (“Overdose”).

“Girl Disrupted” – featuring guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Dej Loaf, The-Dream, August Alsina, Dave East, and Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

For the highly-anticipated project, Sevyn has also teamed up with producers and songwriters including Da Internz (Jazmine Sullivan), Eric Bellinger (Teyana Taylor), Hitmaka (Pia Mia), Dewain Whitmore (Tamar Braxton), Cam Wallace (Mack Wilds) and Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee (Keyshia Cole).

Blige (“Whole Damn Year”), Gabrielle (“It Takes Time”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Elle Varner (“Runaway”), Alesha Dixon (“Radio”) and Jess Glynne (“Saddest Vanilla”).

The Scottish artist’s second album “Long Live the Angels” – featuring singles “Hurts,” “Garden,” “Breathing Underwater” and “Highs & Lows” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Ciara unveils official artwork for new single ‘Body Party’

Ciara has unveiled the official artwork for her new single online.

“Body Party” is taken from the American singer/songwriter’s upcoming fifth album, “One Woman Army,” which is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The new collection by Ciara serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Basic Instinct” [Sony Music Entertainment / LaFace Records / Jive Records]. That release featured the Ludacris-assisted hit single “Ride.”

As previously reported, “One Woman Army” will sport productions from Michael “Mike WiLL Made It” Williams (Brandy Norwood, Kelly Rowland), Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber), Kenneth “Soundz” Coby (LeToya Luckett, Usher Raymond) and Da Internz: Marcos “Kosine” Palacios & Ernest “Tuo” Clark (Jordin Sparks, Kelly Rowland).

Ciara has announced the details of her new single.

The singer/songwriter will release “Got Me Good” as the next single from her upcoming fifth album, “One Woman Army,” which is due in the United States on December 4 via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

“Got Me Good” – available to download from October 25 – was helmed by Olivia “Livvi Franc” Waithe and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. The songwriting and production duo are also responsible for “Shake You Up” by Leona Lewis [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Don’t Fail Me Now” by Melanie Amaro [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records].

“One Woman Army” serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Basic Instinct,” which debuted at number forty-four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also spawned hit singles “Ride,” “Gimmie Dat” and “Speechless.”
