Ella Eyre schedules release date for debut album “Feline”

Ella Eyre - Feline

Ella Eyre has scheduled the release date for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella McMahon – will release “Feline” on August 14 under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Together” was produced by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for Lily Allen’s “Smile” [Parlophone], Little Mix’s “How Ya Doin?” [Syco] and Stooshe’s “Black Heart” [Warner Bros].

The keenly-awaited CD also includes previous singles “Deeper” (produced by Two Inch Punch), “If I Go” (co-written by Natalia Hajjara), “Comeback” (produced by Ilya KnocDown) and “Gravity” (co-written by The Invisible Men).

Other album contributors are Starsmith (Cheryl, Ellie Goulding), Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs, Rebecca Ferguson), Mark Taylor (Cher, Kylie Minogue), Paul O’Duffy (Gabrielle, Andreya Triana) and Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Rita Ora).

Cheryl releases new album “Only Human”

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has released her fourth studio album online.

“Only Human” – featuring hit singles “Crazy Stupid Love” and “I Don’t Care” – is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “A Million Lights,” which peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

Among the producers backing Cheryl on “Only Human” are Wayne Wilkins, Red Triangle, The Invisible Men, Jesse Shatkin, Greg Kurstin, Lucas Secon, Cass Lowe, Babydaddy, Matt Schwartz, DaWood, Jocke Ahlund and Oligee.

On the songwriting front, “Only Human” boasts contributions from Nicola Roberts, Camille Purcell, Sia, Katy Tiz, Heidi Rojas, Matt Morris, Bonnie McKee, Jo Perry, Mark Taylor, Liam Payne, Sam Preston and Alex James.

Kylie Minogue debuts new song “Golden Boy”

Kylie Minogue has debuted a new song online.

“Golden Boy” has been unveiled to celebrate this year’s Record Store Day.

The song was originally recorded during the sessions for her latest album, “Kiss Me Once,” out now via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The track was written by Mereki and Jerry James along with Ariel Rechtshaid and Justin Raisen, who are also responsible for Sky Ferreira’s “I Blame Myself” [Capitol Records] and Chalri XCX’s “You’re the One” [Atlantic Records].

As previously reported, the Pharrell Williams-produced “I Was Gonna Cancel” has been chosen as the next promotional single from “Kiss Me Once.”

Other album contributors include Greg Kurstin (Sia, Natasha Bedingfield), Cutfather (Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott), MNEK (Rudimental, The Saturdays) and Mark Taylor (Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias).

Enrique Iglesias unwraps credits for new album “Sex and Love”

Sex and Love

Enrique Iglesias has unwrapped the credits for his upcoming album.

The Latin singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Sex and Love” on March 17 via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

New single “I’m a Freak” – which features Pitbull – is now available for download via iTunes. The track was written by Iglesias and Pitbull along with Marty James, Rome Ramirez, and Niles Hollowell-Dhar.

In addition to Pitbull, the follow-up to 2010’s “Euphoria” boasts further guest appearances from Flo Rida [Atlantic Records], Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records] and Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records].

On the production front, Iglesias has collaborated with Mark Taylor (Lionel Richie, Tina Turner), DJ Frank E (Madonna, Toni Braxton), Sandy Vee (Rihanna, Taio Cruz) and Rickard Goransson (Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez).

Kylie Minogue has released the official sampler for her upcoming album.

The Australian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Kiss Me Once” on March 17 via Warner Music Group / Roc Nation / Parlophone Records.

The set is executively produced by fellow Australian artist Sia Furler, who previously worked with Beyonce [Columbia Records], Rihanna [Island Records], Ne-Yo [Motown Records] and Christina Aguilera [RCA Records].

Lead single “Into the Blue” – available for download from March 9 via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was written by Kelly “Madame Buttons” Sheehan along with Jacob Kasher and Mike Del Rio.

The follow-up to 2010’s “Aphrodite” boasts further songwriting contributions from Autumn Rowe (Angel Haze, One Direction), Wayne Hector (Sean Paul, Cover Drive) and Karen Poole (Janet Jackson, Pixie Lott).

On the production front, the “Get Outta My Way” star teamed up with Pharrell Williams (Ciara, Justin Timberlake), Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher, Sky Ferreira), Greg Kurstin (Pink, Ellie Goulding) and Mark Taylor (Cher, Whitney Houston).

Cher releases official lyric video for new single ‘I Hope You Find It’

Cher has released the official lyric video for her new single online.

“I Hope You Find It” marks the second promotional single from the artist’s latest studio album, “Closer to the Truth,” out now via Warner Bros. Records.

The track was co-written by Jeffrey Steele along with Steve Robson, whose credits include “Streets of Glory” by Paloma Faith [RCA Records] and “Dance With Me Tonight” by Olly Murs [Syco Music / Epic Records].

Production duties were handled by Mark Taylor, who is also responsible for “Unbelievable” by Craig David [Warner Bros. Records] and “Heartbeat” by Enrique Iglesias featuring Nicole Scherzinger [Republic Records].

“Closer to the Truth” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Living Proof,” which debuted at number nine on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and yielded hit singles “The Music’s No Good Without You” and “Song for the Lonely.”

Lead single “Woman’s World” – available now for download via iTunes – was written by Anthony Crawford along with Matt Morris (Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera) and Paul Oakenfold (Madonna, John Legend).
