Liam Payne hits the studio with Sean Garrett for debut album

Liam Payne has tapped Sean “The Pen” Garrett for his upcoming debut album.

Garrett is responsible for co-writing and / or co-producing Beyonce’s “Diva” (2009), Ciara’s “Goodies” (2004), Kelis’s “Bossy” (2006), Nicole Scherzinger’s “Whatever U Like” (2007) and Usher’s “Yeah” (2004).

His extensive resume boasts further works with Mary J. Blige (“Work That”), Janet Jackson (“My Baby”), Avery Wilson (“If I Have to”), Gwen Stefani (“Now That You Got It”) and Alicia Keys (“Waiting for Your Love”).

Payne, on the other hand, is expected to release his first studio collection in 2017 via Capitol Records (UK) and Republic Records (US).

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Jaramye Daniels (Teyana Taylor), Marlon Roudette (Louisa Johnson), Bibi Bourelly (Selena Gomez), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Fergie) and Marlon “Hookman” Bonds (Jason Derulo).

On the production front, Payne has teamed up with Pharrell Williams (Justin Timberlake), Digital Farm Animals (Little Mix), Warren “Oak” Felder (Ella Henderson), Zaire Koalo (Chris Brown), DannyBoyStyles (The Weeknd) and Ben Billions (Kelly Rowland).

Daniels’ songwriting resume includes credits for Beyonce (“All Night”), Tamia (“Lipstick”), Estelle (“Conqueror”), Justine Skye (“U Don’t Know”), Teyana Taylor (“Do Not Disturb”) and Jidenna (“Little Bit More”).

Meanwhile, Felder’s recent production works include Usher (“Missin’ U”), Britney Spears (“Clumsy”), Jordan Fisher (“Counterfeit”), K. Michelle (“Sleep Like a Baby”), Alessia Cara (“I’m Yours”) and Kelly Clarkson (“Invincible”).

Liam Payne has enlisted the songwriting and production services of Bibi Bourelly, Ben Billions and DannyBoyStyles for his upcoming debut album.

Bourelly’s songwriting resume includes works with Rihanna (“Bitch Better Have My Money”), Selena Gomez (“Camouflage”) and Usher (“Chains”).

Meanwhile, Ben Billions and DannyBoyStyles have produced tracks for Banks (“Judas”), The Weeknd (“Acquainted”) and Beyoncé (“6 Inch”).

Payne, on the other hand, is expected to release his first studio collection in 2017 via Capitol Records (UK) and Republic Records (US).

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further alliances with Pharrell Williams (John Legend), Marlon Roudette (Louisa Johnson), Marlon “Hookman” Bonds (Jason Derulo), Digital Farm Animals (Noah Cyrus), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Little Mix) and Michael McHenry (AlunaGeorge).

Liam Payne signs new deal with Republic Records

Liam Payne has signed a new deal with Republic Records in America.

The Universal Music Group imprint also houses other artists including Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Lorde, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne.

As per a recent statement by Republic Records, Payne’s first solo single will arrive soon in conjunction with Capitol Records UK.

For his still-untitled debut album, Payne has teamed up with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Marlon Roudette, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Marlon “Hookman” Bonds, Digital Farm Animals, and Michael McHenry.

Liam Payne has recorded new music with Pharrell Williams.

“Great few days with @Pharrell … Pleasure working with you as always,” the British singer-songwriter posted to his Instagram account.

Pharrell’s recent songwriting and production credits include Lion Babe’s “Wonder Woman” [Polydor], Little Big Town’s “Miracle” [Polydor], Kid Cudi’s “Surfin” [Republic] and Snoop Dogg’s “So Many Pros” [Columbia].

His extensive resume boasts further works with Britney Spears (“Why Should I Be Sad?”), Justin Timberlake (“Seniorita”), Beyonce (“Work it Out”), Mariah Carey (“Say Something”) and Toni Braxton (“Hit the Freeway”).

Meanwhile, Payne is expected to release his first studio collection next year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional collaborations with Digital Farm Animals, Marlon Roudette, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Michael McHenry, and Marlon “Hookman” Bonds.

Jordin Sparks has released her third album.

“Right Here, Right Now” – featuring singles “It Ain’t You,” “Double Tap” and “They Don’t Give” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment’s newly-launched imprint Louder Than Life Records.

The project was executively produced by Salaam Remi, whose other credits include Leona Lewis (“Forgiveness”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”) and Mack Wilds (“Own It”).

Other album producers include Dem Jointz (Rihanna, Dr. Dre), Key Wane (Beyonce, Jhene Aiko), DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Keyshia Cole), Jonas Jeberg (Cassie, Jason Derulo), Crada (Drake, Marlon Roudette), D’Mile (Ciara, Mali Music) and The Underdogs (Tamar Braxton, Jennifer Hudson).

On the songwriting front, Sparks has teamed with Babyface (Tamia, Katharine McPhee), Meleni Smith (Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys), James Fauntleroy (Usher, Chris Brown), Victoria Monet (Nas, Fifth Harmony), Nikki Flores (Jojo, Christina Aguilera) and Marlon “Hookman” Bonds (Zendaya, Jason Derulo).

Jordin Sparks has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Boyz in the Hood” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (August 12, 2015).

“Boyz in the Hood” was co-written by Marlon “Hookman” Bonds and produced by Jonas Jeberg, who are also responsible for Zendaya’s “Putcha Body Down” [Hollywood] and Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” [Warner Bros].

Sparks’ next studio collection “Right Here, Right Now” – featuring singles “Tap That,” “It Ain’t You” and “They Don’t Give” – is slated to hit stores on August 21 through Sony Music Entertainment’s imprint Louder Than Life Records.

Other album contributors include Salaam Remi (Usher, Elle Varner), Babyface (Beyonce, Mariah Carey), Key Wane (Big Sean, Ariana Grande), James Fauntleroy (Cassie, Jhene Aiko) and Dem Jointz (Dr. Dre, Janet Jackson).

Jason Derulo announces new album “Everything is 4”

Jason Derulo has announced the details for his upcoming fourth album.

The singer/songwriter christened his next studio collection “Everything is 4” and will release it on June 2 under Beluga Heights and Warner Bros. Records.

Lead single “Want to Want Me” – which was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and written by Derulo along with Lindy Robbins, Mitch Allan and Sam Martin – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Everything is 4” serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international hit singles “Wiggle,” “Trumpets,” “Marry Me” and “The Other Side.”

On the production front, the keenly-awaited CD boasts alliances with Motesart (Sia, Celine Dion), DJ Mustard (Omarion, Chris Brown), Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Steve Mostyn (Brandy, Jessie Ware).

Album songwriters are Taylor Parks (Elle Varner, Tori Kelly), Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, John Legend), Ross Golan (Flo Rida, Prince Royce), Marlon Bonds (Kelly Rowland, Enrique Iglesias) and Talay Riley (Jessie J, Keri Hilson).

Jason Derulo unleashes lyric video for new single ‘Marry Me’

Jason Derulo has unleashed the official lyric video for his new single online.

“Marry Me” marks the third promotional release from the artist’s upcoming album, “Tattoos,” out on September 24 via Warner Bros. Records.

The track – co-written by Derulo along with Marlon “Hookman” Bonds – is now available for download via iTunes.

Production duties were handled by Danish hitmaker Jonas “Jay Jay” Jeberg, whose credits include “Made in the USA” by Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and “The Boys” by Nicki Minaj featuring Cassie [Republic Records].
