Camila Cabello releases new single “I Have Questions”

Camila Cabello has released her new single online.

“I Have Questions” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Cabello alongside fellow recording artist Bibi Bourelly, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” Selena Gomez’s “Camouflage,” and Usher’s “Need U.”

Production duties on “I Have Questions” were handled by Jesse Shatkin, who is also responsible for Sia’s “Chandelier,” Kylie Minogue’s “Kiss Me Once,” Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer,” Brooke Candy’s “Living Out Loud,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” and One Direction’s “Perfect.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello is scheduled to drop her debut album “The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving” – featuring previous single “Cyring in the Club” – later this year via Syco Music / Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated collection boasts further songwriting contributions from Sia Furler (Britney Spears), Charli XCX (RAYE), Noonie Bao (Dua Lipa), Sasha Sloan (Anne-Marie), Madison Love (Jason Derulo), Savan Kotecha (Ariana Grande), Rickard Goransson (Nick Jonas) and Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys).

Album producers include Pharrell Williams (Ciara), Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), Ryan Tedder (Kesha), Happy Perez (Frank Ocean), Cashmere Cat (Halsey), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Chris Brown), Frank Dukes (Lorde), Max Martin (Katy Perry), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Skip Marley) and Stargate (Tiwa Savage).

Katy Perry joins forces with Nicki Minaj for new single “Swish Swish”

American singer/songwriter Katheryn Hudson, professionally known as Katy Perry, has released her new promotional single online.

“Swish Swish” – which was produced by Duke Dumont alongside Noah “Mailbox” Passovoy and PJ “PromNite” Sledge – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Nicki Minaj-featuring track was also co-written by Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Charli XCX) and Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard (Rihanna, Halsey).

In case you didn’t know, “Swish Swish” marks the second collaboration between Minaj and Perry, as the latter co-wrote “Get on Your Knees,” taken from Minaj’s 2014 album “The Pinkprint,” alongside Sarah Hudson, Chloe Angelides, Jacob “JKash” Kasher, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, and Henry “CIRKUT” Walter.

Perry’s upcoming fifth studio collection “Witness,” on the other hand, will arrive on June 9th via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Prism” – featuring singles “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit” – delivers further contributions from Max Martin (Tori Kelly), Sia Furler (Camila Cabello), Ali Payami (Ellie Goulding), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Ricky Martin), Shellback (Taylor Swift) and Oscar Holter (Demi Lovato).

Camila Cabello confirms title for debut album

Camila Cabello has confirmed the title for her upcoming debut solo album.

The Cuban-born American singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving” and will release it later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The yet-to-be-announced first single is scheduled to arrive on May 19 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the producers expected to appear on “The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving.” are Pharrell Williams (Ariana Grande), Ryan Tedder (Hailee Steinfeld), Frank Dukes (Zayn Malik), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Kehlani), Max Martin (Katy Perry), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Jennifer Lopez) and Stargate (Rihanna).

On the songwriting front, Cabello has teamed up with Charli XCX (Rita Ora), Noonie Bao (Carly Rae Jepsen), Sasha Sloan (Louis Tomlinson), Madison Love (Jason Derulo), Bibi Bourelly (Selena Gomez), Savan Kotecha (Tori Kelly), Rickard Goransson (Nick Jonas) and Billy Walsh (The Weeknd).

Camila Cabello has enlisted Stargate for her upcoming debut album.

The Norwegian songwriting and production duo, composed of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, previously teamed up with Fifth Harmony on singles “Worth It,” taken from 2015’s “Reflection,” as well as “Write on Me” and “All in My Head (Flex),” taken from 2016’s “7/27.”

Stargate’s recent credits include OneRepublic’s “No Vacancy,” Bebe Rexha’s “Bad Bitch,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Zara Larsson’s “Sundown,” Major Lazer’s “Run Up,” Shakira’s “Try Everything,” Gwen Stefani’s “Asking for It,” Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” and AlunaGeorge’s “Hold Your Head High.”

Their current promotional single “Waterfall” – featuring guest vocals from Sia and Pink – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Cabello is scheduled to release first solo studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions from Pharrell Williams (Ariana Grande), Ryan Tedder (Hailee Steinfeld), Frank Dukes (Zayn Malik), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Elle Varner), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Jennifer Lopez) and Max Martin (Taylor Swift).

“Lust for Life” – featuring Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer The Weeknd – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Max Martin, born Martin Sandberg, whose recent credits include Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm,” Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side,” and Nick Jonas’ “Under You.”

Production duties on “Lust for Life” were collectively handled by Del Rey alongside Rick Nowels (FKA twigs, Charli XCX), Kieron Menzies (Nelly Furtado, John Legend) and Dean Reid (Lykke Li, Marina Diamandis).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Del Rey’s upcoming album of the same name – featuring previous single “Love” – will arrive later this year via Interscope Records (US) and Polydor Records (UK).

The follow-up to 2015’S “Honeymoon” delivers further alliances with Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), John Hill (Rihanna), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys), Mark Ronson (Lily Allen) and Justin Parker (Ellie Goulding).
