Craig David hits the studio with JP Cooper, White N3rd

British singer/songwriter Craig David has recorded new music with fellow UK artist JP Cooper and regular collaborator White N3rd.

White N3rd (real name Scott Wild) previously teamed up with David on hit singles “When the Bassline Drops” and “One More Time,” taken from the artist’s 2016 album, “Following My Intuition.”

Cooper, on the other hand, is scheduled to release his debut album “Raised Under Grey Skies” on September 22 via Island Records. The highly-anticipated collection features contributions from Teemu Brunila (“Party”), Mike Spencer (“September Song”), Jamie Hartman (“Passport Home”) Two Inch Punch (“Good Friend”), Mark Taylor (“Wait”) and Nonfiction (“Masterpiece”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, David’s seventh studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox / Insanity Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers productions from Mojam Music (Plan B), Steve Robson (Olly Murs), Tre Jean-Marie (Jacob Banks), Diztortion (Taya), Nineteen85 (Jessie Ware), MNEK (Madonna), Dave Tozer (John Legend), Fraser T. Smith (Ray BLK), TMS (Roxanne Tatei), Martin Solveig (Madonna), Tyrell “169” Paul (Taio Cruz) and Daecolm (Andre Merritt).

Craig David works with Negin Djafari for new album

Craig David has worked with Negin Djafari for his upcoming album.

The Swedish singer/songwriter recently co-wrote James Arthur’s “Can I Be Him,” Snakehips’ “Don’t Leave,” Fifth Harmony’s “Not That Kinda Girl” and Rebecca Ferguson’s “Superwoman,” in addition to providing guest vocals on Wilkinson’s “Faded” and Wolfgang Gartner’s “Looking for You.”

Djafari has also contributed to the next projects by Liza Owen, Kyla Smith, Nina Nesbitt, Folly Rae, Imani Williams, L Devine, Jess Kent, Karen Harding, Louisa Johnson, Antigoni Buxton, Mabel McVey, KStewart, Bobii Lewis, and M.O.

Her extensive resume boasts further works with producers including Bloodshy & Avant, Toby Gad, Fredro, Jonas Jeberg, Cutfather, Arnthor Birgisson, Jim Beanz, Hitesh Ceon, Red Triangle, Gordon Chambers, Joe Janiak, Bradford Ellis, Jonas Quant, Cass Lowe, and Jared Cotter.

Meanwhile, David is expected to release his next studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Insanity Records.

Other musicians expected to appear on the follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition” are Tre Jean-Marie (Jason Derulo), Dave Tozer (Ella Eyre), Martin Solveig (Ina Wroldsen), Talay Riley (Usher), DAECOLM (Mario Barrett), White N3rd (Daley), Max McElligott (Jessie Ware), Sam Romans (Jennifer Hudson), Ed Drewett (Sinead Harnett) and Diztortion (Kelly Clarkson).

Craig David reunites with Ed Drewett for new album

Craig David has reunited with Ed Drewett for his upcoming album.

The British singer/songwriter previously co-wrote “Couldn’t Be Mine” for David alongside the song’s producer Tre Jean-Marie. The track appears on 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” which topped the UK Albums Chart.

Drewett’s songwriting resume boasts further works with One Direction (“Best Song Ever”), Little Mix (“Black Magic”), The Vamps (“Cheater”), Olly Murs (“Dear Darling”), Fleur East (“Gold Watch”), Stooshe (“Kiss Chase”), Sinead Harnett (“Do it Anyway”), Ben Haenow (“Greatest Mistake”), SG Lewis (“All Night”), Madeon (“OK”) and The Wanted (“Glad You Came”).

In addition Jean-Marie, Drewett has also collaborated with top producers including Future Cut, Steve Mac, TMS, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Ash Howes, Two Inch Punch, Fred Ball, Mojam Music, Julian Bunetta, Red Triangle, Fraser T. Smith, Electric, Jim Eliot, Naughty Boy, Steve Robson, Jim Duguid, Cutfather, Jonas Jeberg, Laconic, John Henry Ryan, and The Runners.

Craig David has teamed up with Max McElligott for a new collaboration.

McElligott’s songwriting credits include Kylie Minogue’s “Your Body,” Tom Chaplin’s “Bring the Rain,” Rudimental’s “Lay it All on Me,” and The Naked and Famous’ “What We Want.”

The former lead vocalist of British alternative and symphonic rock band Wolf Gang has also contributed to the next projects by Astrid S, Jessie Ware, Ella Eyre, John Newman, Rita Ora, Kiah Victoria, Jonas Blue, Moxie, The Beach, Tala, Ella Henderson, and Blonde.

Meanwhile, David is reportedly working on his next studio collection and follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” which topped the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Change My Love,” “All We Needed,” “One More Time” and “When the Bassline Drops.”

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from Tre Jean-Marie (Brayton Bowman), Martin Solveig (Whinnie Williams), Talay Riley (Khalid Robinson), Dave Tozer (John Legend) and TMS (Nick Jonas).

Craig David has teamed up with Martin Solveig for a new collaboration.

“Great hitting the studio with Martin Solveig and Tre Jean-Marie,” the British singer-songwriter posted to Instagram on Saturday (February 04, 2017).

Solveig previously teamed up with Madonna on international hit singles “Give Me All Your Luvin'” and the Whinnie Williams-penned “Turn Up the Radio,” taken from the artist’s 2012 album under Interscope Records, “MDNA.”

Jean-Marie, on the other hand, co-wrote/produced seven songs on David’s latest album “Following My Intuition” including “Couldn’t Be Mine,” “One More Time,” “What If,” “Don’t Go,” “Here with Me,” and “Sink or Swim.”

He also contributed to the next projects by Christina Aguilera, Mabel McVey, Fleur East, Imani Williams, Louisa Johnson, Taya, and Becky Hill.

Meanwhile, David is reportedly working on his next studio collection with the likes of TMS (Paloma Faith, Zak Abel), Dave Tozer (Ella Eyre, John Legend) and Talay Riley (Usher, Nick Jonas).

Solveig’s current single “Places” – featuring vocals from Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Whinnie Williams unleashes new mixtape online

Whinnie Williams has unveiled a new mixtape online.

The British singer/songwriter – formerly known as Sunday Girl – posted the new collection to her official SoundCloud page on Tuesday (December 24, 2014).

“Mix Tape Vol 1” was produced by Future Cut, who are known for collaborating with the likes of Lily Allen [Parlophone Records], Shakira [RCA Records], Nicole Scherzinger [Interscope Records] and Bruno Mars [Atlantic Records].

Some of their recent credits include “Army of Two” by Olly Murs [Epic Records], “Black Heart” by Stooshe [Warner Bros. Records], “Stand Down” by Little Mix [Columbia Records] and “Hurricane” by Cover Drive [Polydor Records].

Williams – who wrote “Turn Up the Radio” for Madonna along with French hitmaker Martin Solveig – is expected to release her debut LP in 2014.
