Ne-Yo drops seventh studio collection “Good Man”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Ne-Yo (born Shaffer Smith) has dropped his seventh studio collection online.

“Good Man” – featuring the Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don-assisted “Push Back” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Non-Fiction” boasts further guest appearances from Romeo Santos (“Nights Like These”), PartyNextDoor (“On Your Mind”), Eric Bellinger (“Hot Box”) and Candace Boyd & Sam Hook (“Ocean Sure”).

On the production front, Ne-Yo has teamed up with Stargate, Jesse “Corparal” Wilson, Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Billboard, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Maejor, Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, Joseph Hill, and The Stereotypes.

Hailee Steinfeld teams up with MNEK for new single “Colour”

Hailee Steinfeld has teamed up with MNEK for his new single “Colour,” which will arrive on June 1 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by MNEK (real name Uzoechi Emenike) alongside fellow recording artist Anne-Marie Nicholson and Dutch record producer Raoul Chen (known professionally as Diztortion).

MNEK’s debut album – featuring current single “Tongue” – is scheduled for release later this year via Digital Teddy / Virgin EMI Records.

He also produced and co-wrote “Deserve” for Christina Aguilera alongside Julia Michaels. The track appears on Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album, “Liberation,” out on June 15 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s next project reportedly yields contributions from TMS, Caroline Ailin, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Casey Smith, Billboard, Asia Whiteacre, Rissi Rissi, Noah Breakfast, Ali Tamposi, Rami Yaqoub, Tayla Parx, Albin Nedler, Whitney Phillips, Justin Tranter, and Julia Michaels.

Amara La Negra shares music video for new single “Insecure”

Amara La Negra has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Insecure” was posted to the Dominicana​ American​ singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Tuesday (April 10, 2018).

The track – which was written by Amara La Negra (real name Dana Danelys De Los Santos) alongside Priscilla Renea and Theron Thomas of R. City – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Production duties on “Insecure” were handled by Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Drake, Bruno Mars), Stphen “Di Genius” McGregor (Shakira, Nelly Furtado) and Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe (Madonna, Ariana Grande).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Amara La Negra’s upcoming mini-album is scheduled to arrive later this year via Rude Bwoy Management Group in partnership with BMG Rights Management.

Madonna reunites with Billboard for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman Madonna Louise Ciccone, known mononymously as Madonna, has reunited with Billboard for a new collaboration.

The Canadian hitmaker previously co-produced “Ghosttown” for Madonna alongside Jason Evigan. Co-written with Sean Douglas and Evan “Kidd” Bogart, the track topped the US Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart.

Born Mathieu Jomphe, Billboard songwriting/production resume boasts additional works with Ariana Grande (“Thinking Bout You”), Erik Hassle (“TKO”), Zara Larsson (“Rooftop”), Elliphant (“You’re Gone”), Shakira (“La La La”), Ferras (“Speak in Tongues”), Britney Spears (“Hold it Against Me”), Kesha (“Cannibal”), Ellie Goulding (“In My City”) and Mika (“Popular Song”).

Meanwhile, Madonna is expected to release her upcoming fourteenth album – featuring further contributions from Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard – later this year via Boy Toy / Live Nation / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2015’s “Rebel Heart,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of “Living for Love,” “Ghosttown” and “Bitch I’m Madonna.”

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Ugly” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 28, 2017).

“Ugly” was written by Alexandra “Allie X” Hughes (Lea Michele, Troye Sivan) and Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Kat Graham, Selena Gomez) alongside the song’s producers Henry “CIRKUT” Walter (Rihanna, The Weeknd) and Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe (Madonna, Britney Spears).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Burns’ upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via Interscope Records.

Canadian singer/songwriter Alexandra Hughes, professionally known as Allie X, has liberated her debut album online.

“COLLXTION II” – featuring singles “Paper Love” and “Need You” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The album boasts songwriting contributions from Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Kat Graham), Nathaniel “Nate” Campany (Carly Rae Jepsen), Trey Campbell (Ella Henderson), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Bebe Rexha) and Troye Sivan (Kacy Hill).
