Lianne La Havas announces details for new album

Lianne La Havas has announced the details for her upcoming third album.

The British singer/songwriter will release the self-titled project on 17 July 2020 via Warner Music Group / Warner Records.

Current promotional single “Paper Thin” – which was co-written by regular collaborator Matt “Aqualung” Hales – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Blood” features additional contributions from Beni Giles, Homer Steinweiss, Joe Harrison, Bruno Major, Kito, Jeff Gitty, Kamille, Sam Crowe, Nao, Mark Guilina, Loxe, Andy Vickery, Oscar Scheller, and Grades.

Lianne La Havas unleashes new single “Bittersweet”

Lianne La Havas has unleashed her new single online.

“Bittersweet” – which was collectively produced by Havas alongside Beni Giles and Matt “Aqualung” Hales – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Havas’ upcoming third studio album is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Records UK.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Blood” reportedly features additional productions and songwriting contributions from Bruno Major, Kito, Jeff Gitty, Kamille, Sam Crowe, Nao, Mark Guilina, Loxe, Andy Vickery, and Grades.

Kacy Hill confirms title for new single

Kacy Hill has confirmed the title for her new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Hard to Love” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Kanye West’s label GOOD (Getting Out of Your Dreams) Music and Def Jam Recordings.

“Hard to Love” follows previous single “Lions,” which was collectively produced by Jamie Hartman of Ben’s Brother and Stuart Price.

Other producers expected to appear on the album are Alex Hope (Troye Sivan), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), Two Inch Punch (Noah Cyrus), BURNS (Charli XCX), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas), Steve Booker (Pixie Lott), Kid Harpoon (Eliza Doolittle), Luke Laird (Kacey Musgraves), Joel Little (Ellie Goulding) and Daniel Heath (Lana Del Rey).

On the songwriting front, Hill has reportedly collaborated with Natalie Hemby (Carly Rae Jepsen), Autumn Rowe (Dua Lipa), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele), Andrew Wyatt (Lion Babe), Chelsea Lena (Sabrina Carpenter), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora) and Jonny “Ghost” Harris (Ed Sheeran).

Hill’s mini-collection “Bloo” – featuring “Foreign Fields,” “Arm’s Length” and “Shades of Blue” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Pixie Geldof releases debut album “I’m Yours”

Pixie Geldof has released her debut studio collection online.

“I’m Yours” – featuring singles “Sweet Thing,” “Escape Route,” “Woman Go Wild” and “So Strong” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The album boasts productions from Liam Howe, whose resume boasts further credits with Foxes (“All I Need”), Laura Welsh (“Soft Control”), Marina Diamandis (“Fear and Loathing”) and Lana Del Rey (“Lolita”).

Other musicians backing Geldof on “I’m Yours” are Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas), Bruno Major (Liv Dawson), FRYARS (Rae Morris) and Tony Hoffer (KT Tunstall).

Matt Hales is an English songwriter, musician, producer who has been performing professionally under the name Aqualung since the early 2000s.

Aqualung’s single “Strange and Beautiful (“I’ll Put a Spell on You),” peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart. Singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson also covered the track for her debut album, “Heaven.”

As a songwriter and record producer, Matt has collaborated with Lianne La Havas (“Lost and Found”), The Fray (“Hurricane”), Jason Mraz (“Everything is Sound”), Sara Bareilles (“Islands”), Diane Birch (“UNFKD”), Paloma Faith (“Just Be”), and James Blunt (“Next Time I’m Seventeen”).

His extensive resume boasts further works with Leona Lewis, Christina Perri, Kandace Springs, Alex Clare, Birdy, Mikky Ekko, Kacy Hill, Josef Salvat, Wrabel, Ginny Blackmore, Katharine McPhee, Laleh, Disclosure, and others.

Amongst the songwriters Matt has collaborated with are Sam Dew, Chantal Kreviazuk, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Anne Preven, Joergen Eloffson, Melanie Blatt, Ali Tamposi, Jimmy Napes, Eric Bellinger, Joe Janiak, and Shelley Poole.

Mika has released his new album online.

The British singer/songwriter’s fourth studio collection “No Place in Heaven” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Casablanca Records.

Lead single “Talk About You” was co-written by Ross Golan (Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor) and Johan Karlsson (Colbie Caillat, Ariana Grande). Production duties were handled by Mika along with Greg Wells (Adele, Ella Eyre).

Other album contributors include Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (Goapele, Alicia Keys), Nina Woodford (Leona Lewis, Christina Milian), Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas, Rebecca Ferguson) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kylie Minogue).

Mika’s last studio collection, 2012’s “The Origin of Love,” peaked to number 24 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including the Pharrell Williams-featuring “Celebrate” and the Ariana Grande-assisted “Popular Song.”

Lianne La Havas unleashes music video for new single “Unstoppable”

Lianne La Havas has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Unstoppable” to her official YouTube channel on Wednesday (May 15, 2015).

Production duties on “Unstoppable” were handled by Paul Epworth, whose resume also includes works for John Legend [Columbia Records], FKA twigs [Young Turks Recordings] and Florence Welch [Republic Records].

The track marks the first promotional cut from Havas’ sophomore album, “Blood,” which will hit stores on July 31 under Warner Bros Records.

Shea Taylor (Rihanna, Janet Jackson), Di Genius (Ne-Yo, Melissa Steel), Matt Hales (Leona Lewis, Sara Bareilles) and Howard Lawrence of Disclosure (Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith) are among the contributors on the new album.

Havas’ first studio collection, 2012’s “Is Your Love Big Enough?,” peaked to number four on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “No Room for Doubt,” “Lost & Found,” “Forget” and “Age.”

Alex Clare reveals new album “Three Hearts” credits

Alex Clare has revealed the official songwriting credits for his new album.

The British singer/songwriter will release his sophomore collection “Three Hearts” in the United Kindgom on August 11 via Island Records.

Lead single “War Rages On” was co-written and produced by Steve Booker, whose resume includes works for Rebecca Ferguson [Syco Music], John Newman [Island Records] and Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI Records].

Other album contributors include Dan Wilson (Adele, Taylor Swift), Mr. Hudson (Kanye West, Miley Cyrus) and Matt Hales (Lianne La Havas, Kina Grannis).

“Three Hearts” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “The Lateness of The Hour,” which peaked at number seventeen on the UK Albums Chart and featured international hit single “Too Close.”

Kandace Springs has released a new performance video online.

The singer/songwriter posted her rendition of “Say Something” by a Great Big World to her official YouTube page on Tuesday (February 18, 2014).

Her upcoming debut album is scheduled to hit shelves later this year via Universal Music Group / SRP / Blue Note / Capitol Records.

Lead single “Love Got in the Way” was written by Kandace Springs along with Evan Rogers, Carl Sturken, and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge.

Among the other musicians Springs has worked with include Greg Wells (Mika, Ariana Grande), Diane Warren (Brandy, Paloma Faith), Aqualung (Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles) and Lindy Robbins (Jordin Sparks, Faith Hills).

The British singer/songwriter will release “Freedom” in the United Kingdom on December 2 via Simco Limited / Syco Music / RCA Records.

Lead single “I Hope” – produced by Jarrad Rogers – is scheduled for download from November 24 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
