Cosima releases new promotional single “R U Lonely 2?”

British singer/songwriter Cosima Ehni, known mononymously as Cosima, has released her new promotional single online.

“R U Lonely 2?” is now via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Benjamin “Fryars” Garrett, whose songwriting and production resume boasts additional works with Rae Morris (“Atletico”), Mika (“Celebrate”) and Lilly Allen (“Trigger Bang”).

Cosima’s debut mini-album under Island Records, 2016’s “South of Heaven,” featured another collaboration with Fryars in the shape of “Girls Who Get Ready.” That project delivered further contributions from Greg Wells, Nina Woodford, Felix Joseph, and Josh Crocker.

For her next collection, which is expected to arrive later this year, Cosima has reportedly worked with Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX), Matt Parad (Anaïs, Kacy Hill), Joel Pott (Foxes, Mabel McVey), Sam Romans (Raye, Craig David) and Jeff Gitty (Kali Uchis, Lianne La Havas).

Denai Moore enlists Matt Parad for new collaboration

British-Jamaican singer/songwriter Denai Moore has enlisted American record producer Matt Parad for a new collaboration.

The Pulse Music Group signee recently co-wrote and co-produced London soul artist Anais’ debut mini-album, “Before Zero,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Parad’s extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters and producers including AFTERHRS, Steph Jones, Leland, Jenna Andrews, Robopop, Chloe Angelides, Fred Wexler, Emily Warren, Louis Schoorl, Cara Salimando, Nate Cypher, Courtney Harrell, Oskar Sikow, and The Electric.

Moore, on the other hand, is expected to release her third album – featuring furhter alliances with Aston Rudi – later this year via Because Music.

Her current studio collection, 2017’s “We Used to Bloom,” spawned two singles in the shape of “Blame” and “Desolately Devoted,” as well as contributions from Kwabs (“All the Way”) and Fred Cox (“Leave it Up to You”).

Kacy Hill delivers new promotional single “Keep Me Sane”

British singer/songwriter Kacy Hill has delivered her new single online.

“Keep Me Sane” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Kacy Hill, Matt Parad and Oskar “Sikow” Engstrom alongside it’s producers Jerome Potter and Samuel Griesemer of DJDS.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill’s debut album “Like a Woman” – featuring previous singles “Hard to Love,” “Lion” and “Arm’s Length” – will arrive on June 30 via Getting Out of Your Dreams (GOOD Music) / Def Jam Recordings.

The Kanye West executive-produced project boasts additional alliances with Tourist (Lianne La Havas), Autumn Rowe (Molly Kate Kestner), BURNS (Ellie Goulding), Jamie Hartman (Marlon Roudette), Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), Andrew Wyatt (Bruno Mars), DJ Mustard (Rihanna), Robin Hannibal (Niia Rocco), Terrace Martin (Kandace Springs) and Dave Stewart (Madonna).

Kacy Hill has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Like a Woman” and will release it on June 30 via Getting Out of Your Dreams (GOOD Music) / Def Jam Recordings.

Current promotional singles “Like a Woman,” which was produced by DJ Mustard alongside Terrace Martin and DJ Rodger Stadium, and “Hard to Love,” which was produced by Stuart Price and Oskar “Sikow” Engstrom, are now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Kanye West-executive produced album reportedly delivers additional productions from Fraser T. Smith, Luke Laird, Kid Harpoon, Matthew “Aqualung” Hales, Two Inch Punch, BURNS, Jon Levine, Bastian Langebaek, Fred Ball, Matt Parad, BloodPop, Jamie Hartman, and Alex Hope.

British singer, songwriter, and fashion model Kacy Hill has unleashed two new promotional singles online.

“Hard to Love,” and “Like a Woman” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Like a Woman” were collectively handled by DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Ella Mai), Terrace Martin (Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco) and DJ Dodger Stadium (Khalid, Kanye West).

“Hard to Love,” on the other hand, was produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, Robbie Williams) alongside the song’s co-writer Oskar “Sikow” Engstrom (Erik Hassle, Giorgio Moroder).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill is expected is to release her first studio collection – featuring previous single “Lion” – later this year via Getting Out of Your Dreams (GOOD Music) / Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith), BURNS (Charli XCX), Alex Hope (Troye Sivan), Matt Parad (Kenzie May), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles), Fred Ball (Rihanna), BloodPop (HAIM) and Matthew Hales (Lianne La Havas).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Autumn Rowe (Leona Lewis), Isa Machine (Maxine Ashley), Natalie Hemby (Labrinth), Andrew Wyatt (Dua Lipa), Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys) and Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele).

Kenzie May teams up with Felix Joseph for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Kenzie May has recorded new music with Felix Joseph.

The record producer, songwriter, photographer, and art director is known for his works with Abi Ocia (“Konfyt”), Jorja Smith (“Beautiful Little Fools”), Cosima (“Hymns for Him”), Kwabs (“Perfect Ruin”), Ray BLK (“50/50”), Elli Ingram (“Canna Butter Kisses”), Birdy (“Take My Heart”) and JJ (“City Lights”).

May, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut project – featuring promotional single “Never Find Another” – later this year.

Among the other musicians May has worked with are Future Cut, Hannah Yadi, Blue May, KiTo, Natalia Hajjara, GRADES, Phil Cook, BURNS, Matt Parad, Nylo, Joel Compass, Nate Cyphert, Mike “Scribz’ Riley, Lucas Secon, Josh Wilkinson, Francis “Eg” White, and Cass Lowe.

On the songwriting front, May – born Mackenzie Bryant – has penned songs for Dua Lipa (“Worst Enemy”), FTSE (“Float”), Bronze Whale (“Hear Me”), Dionne Bromfield (“Get Loose”) and Race Banyon (“Surface”).

Pixie Lott premieres music video for new single “Lay Me Down”

Lay Me Down

Pixie Lott has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Lay Me Down” marks the second promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming third studio album.

The track – written by Ashton Parson, Matt Parad and Adam Pallin – will be available for download from July 28 via iTunes (UK).

As previously reported, the self-titled album by Pixie Lott is scheduled for release on August 4 via Universal Music Group / Mercury Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Young Foolish Happy,” which debuted at number eighteen on the UK Albums Chart and produced hit singles “All About Tonight,” “What Do You Take Me For” and “Kiss the Stars.”
