Shania Twain confirms details for new album

Shania Twain has confirmed the details for her upcoming fifth album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened her new studio collection “Now” and will release it on September 29 via UMG Recordings / Mecury Nashville.

Current promotional single “Life’s About to Get Good” – which was collectively produced by Ron Aniello and Matthew Koma – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2002’s “Up” boasts additional alliances with Jake Gosling (Shawn Mendes, Tori Kelly), Chris Leonard (Ed Sheeran, Nina Nesbitt) and James “JHart” Abrahart (Stephen Puth, Keith Urban).

Shania Twain teams up with Matthew Koma for new album

Shania Twain has teamed up with singer, songwriter, and record producer Matthew Koma for her upcoming fourth album.

In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, Koma stated “This is one of the first times I got to work with somebody who was re-addressing what their message was after having had such a huge, impactful career. She (Twain) wasn’t following rules that she previously has followed.”

His current single “Kisses Back” – which was co-written by Joshua Steele and co-produced by Flux Pavilion – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the songwriting front, Koma’s resume boasts works with Kelly Clarkson (“Someone”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“This Kiss”), Hilary Duff (“Arms Around a Memory”), Giorgio Moroder (“Tempted”) and Zedd (“Clarity”).

Meanwhile, Twain is expected to release her next studio collection – featuring further contributions from Jake Gosling and Chris Leonard – in 2017 via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records Nashville.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up 2002’s “Up!,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “I’m Gonna Getcha Good,” “Forever and Always” and “When You Kiss Me.”

Britney Spears has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The Randee St. Nicholas-directed clip for “Make Me” – featuring G-Eazy – was posted to the singer-songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (August 05, 2016).

“Make Me” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Joe Janiak (Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert) and produced by BURNS (Kacy Hill, Charli XCX).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Spears’ ninth studio collection “Glory” – featuring the Carla Marie Williams-penned / Young Fyre-produced “Private Show” – will arrive on August 26 via RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Britney Jean” reportedly boasts further productions from Jason Evigan, Robopop, Cashmere Cat, Ian Kirkpatrick, DJ Mustard, Christopher Baran, Nick Monson, and BloodPop.

On the songwriting front, Spears has teamed up with Justin Tranter, Julia Michaels, Simon Wilcox, Chantal Kreviazuk, Ilsey Juber, Phoebe Ryan, Jacob Luttrell, Matthew Koma, Breyan Isaac, and Danny Parker.

“Make Me” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Joe Janiak (Adam Lambert, Ellie Goulding) and the song’s producer BURNS (Charli XCX, Louisa Johnson).

Kelly Clarkson has confirmed the details for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Piece By Piece” as the next promotional cut from latest studio collection of the same name.

“Piece By Piece” was co-written and produced by Greg Kurstin, who previously teamed up with Clarkson on several songs, including international hit single “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).”

His other credits include Adele’s “Hello” [Columbia], Sia’s “Chandelier” [RCA], Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Boy Problems” [Interscope], John Newman’s “Come and Get It” [Island] and Years & Years’ “Shine” [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Clarkson latest album “Piece By Piece” – featuring previous singles “Invincible” and “Heartbeat Song” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Wrapped in Red” also delivers contributions from Jesse Shatkin (Santigold), Matthew Koma (Zedd), Justin Tranter (Pia Mia), Mozella (Tinashe), Sir Nolan (Rita Ora) and Julia Michaels (Demi Lovato).

Britney Spears has added Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter to the list of contributors for her upcoming ninth studio album.

The songwriting duo are responsible for crafting Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [RCA], Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope], Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic] and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” [Def Jam].

Furthermore, Michaels and Tranter have collectively wrote songs on the next projects by Gwen Stefani [Interscope], Rita Ora [Columbia], Jasmine Thompson [Atlantic], Jessie Ware [Island] and Pia Mia [Interscope].

Meanwhile, Spears is scheduled to release her forthcoming album and follow-up to 2013’s “Britney Jean” next year through RCA Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly features further alliances with Ian Kirkpatrick (Chromeo), Matthew Koma (Hilary Duff), Simon Wilcox (Nick Jonas), Chantal Kreviazuk (Drake) and Mischke Butler (Austin Mahone).
