Laleh announces new mini-collection “Boom”

Laleh has announced the details for her upcoming EP.

The Swedish singer, songwriter, producer and former actress will release “Boom” on September 30 through Mercury Records and Island Records.

In addition to featuring five new songs including “Colors,” “Some Die Young,” “Stars Align” and “Elephant,” the mini-collection also boasts contributions from fellow musicians Gary Go and Gustaf Thorn.

On the songwriting front, Laleh has penned songs for Tori Kelly (“Should’ve Been Us”), Demi Lovato (“Stone Cold”) and Ellie Goulding (“Lost & Found”).

She also collaborated with top hitmakers including Max Martin (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), Carl Falk (One Direction, Nicole Scherzinger) and Ilya “KnocDown” Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift).

Maverick Sabre shares details for new album “Innerstanding”

Maverick Sabre has shared the details for his upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer, songwriter, rapper and guitarist – real name Michael Stafford – christened his next studio collection “Innerstanding” and will release it on October 30 through Mercury Records and Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Come Fly Away” – now available for download via iTunes – was collectively produced by Fraser T. Smith (Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue) and Dan “Utters” Radclyffe (Sinead Harnett, Raleigh Ritchie).

“Innerstanding” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Lonely Are the Brave,” which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “I Need,” “Let Me Go” and “No One.”

Other musicians backing Sabre on the keenly-awaited LP are Chris Loco (Ella Eyre, Tori Kelly), Mr. Hudson (Pixie Lott, Alex Clare), Di Genius (Melissa Steel, Lianne La Havas) and James Hogarth (Sia, Amy Winehouse).

Kove, Moko premiere music video for new single “Hurts”

Kove has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British electronic music producer – born James Rockhill – posted the visual clip for “Hurts” to his Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 24, 2015).

“Hurts” – featuring Moko – will be available for download from August 14 via iTunes in partnership with MTA Records and Mercury Records.

The track follows previous promotional cut “Way We Are” (featuring Melissa Steel), which peaked to number seven on the UK Dance Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, Moko – real name Diane Nadia Adu-Gyamfi – is expected to release her debut album later this year through Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts alliances with Chase & Status (CeeLo Green, Tinie Tempah), Future Cut (Rihanna, Olly Murs), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Ella Eyre) and MNEK (Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy).

Pixie Lott reunites with Cathy Dennis, Fred Ball for fourth album

Pixie Lott has started the process of recording her upcoming fourth album.

“In the studio writing music with Fred Ball and Cathy Dennis” she posted in her official Instagram account on Saturday (December 20, 2014).

Dennis previously teamed with Lott on the Mr. Hudson-produced “Come Get it Now” and Christopher Braide-helmed “Doing Fine Without You.”

Her extensive songwriting resume also includes works for Kylie Minogue (“Can’t Get You Out of My Head”), Britney Spears (“Toxic”), Delta Goodrem (“Throw it Away”), Janet Jackson (“Island Life”) and Kelly Clarkson (“4 Carats”).

Meanwhile, Ball is responsible for co-writing and producing Little Mix’s “Going Nowhere” [Syco Music], Bertine Zetlitz’s “Wrap Me ‘Round Your Finger” [Columbia Records] and Samsaya’s “Stereotype” [BMG Chrysalis].

Pixie Lott’s last studio album was released earlier this year via Universal Music Group imprint Virgin EMI Records. The self-titled project spawned three hit singles in the shape of “Nasty,” “Lay Me Down” and “Break Up Song.”

Her greatest hits compilation album, “Platinum Pixie: Hits,” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Mercury Records.

Pixie Lott has unleashed the official sampler for her upcoming third album.

The British singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Pixie Lott” in the United Kingdom on August 4 via Universal Music Group / Mercury Records.

New single “Lay Me Down” – written by Ashton Parson, Matt Parad, and Adam Pallin – is now available for pre-order via iTunes (UK).

Other album contributors include Jack Splash (Alicia Keys, Melanie Fiona), CeeLo Green (Lauriana Mae, Nicole Scherzinger), Camille Purcell (Babyface, Ella Henderson) and Claude Kelly (Leona Lewis, James Blunt).

The highly-anticipated LP serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Young Foolish Happy,” which debuted at number 18 on the UK Albums Chart and featured singles “All About Tonight,” “Kiss the Stars” and “What Do You Take Me For.”

Maverick Sabre has debuted his new single online.

“Emotion (Ain’t Nobody)” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album with Universal Music Group / Mercury Records.

The track was produced by Stephen “DiGenius” McGregor, whose resume also includes works for Ne-Yo [Motown Records], Tanika [Virgin EMI Records], Nelly Furtado [Interscope Records] and Estelle [New London Records].
