Tinashe unleashes new promotional single “No Drama”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“No Drama” – featuring Offset – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, whose other credits include Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Era Istrefi’s “No I Love Yous,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” Halsey’s “Now or Never,” and Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do.”

Production duties on “No Drama” were handled by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian duo Stargate, who are also responsible for Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Daya’s “New,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” – featuring “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated reportedly delivers further contributions from Fred Ball, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Arrow Benjamin, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, MNEK, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Benny Cassette, Sasha Sloan, Jonas Jeberg, Noonie Bao, Sam Hook, Ester Dean, Charlie Handsome, Julia Michaels, BloodPop, Justin Tranter, Ty Dolla $ign, Hitmaka, A1, Prince Chrishan, and Nova Wav.

Featuring French Montana, “Me So Bad” was co-written by Tyrone “Ty Dolla $ign” Griffin Jr. alongside Christopher “Prince Chrishan” Dotson, Melvin Moore, Christian “Hitmaka” Ward, Floyd “A1” Bentley, and Andre Proctor.

“Faded Love” – featuring Future – was co-written by Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko and Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius alongside Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate.

Meanwhile, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” later this year via RCA Records.

MØ has recorded new music with Ali Tamposi, Brian Lee, and Andrew Watt.

The songwriting trio are responsible for Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez, now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Tamposi, Lee and Watt are also known for co-writing DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You” with Justin Bieber, which peaked to number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, MØ – real name Karen Ørsted – is expected to release her sophomore album later this year via Chess Club / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project – featuring previous singles “Final Song” and “Drum” – boasts alliances with MNEK (Dua Lipa), Noonie Bao (Alessia Cara), BloodPop (Lady GaGa), Charli XCX (RAYE), The Arcade (Iggy Azalea), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith), Jason Evigan (Charlie Puth) and Stargate (Rihanna).

Dua Lipa has delivered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Thinkin ‘Bout You” to her YouTube channel on Wednesday (February 22, 2017).

The track was co-written by Adam Argyle, whose other credits include Jamie Lawson’s “The Last Time,” Melanie C’s “Anymore,” Ronan Keating’s “Time of My Life,” Izzy Bizu’s “Hello Crazy,” and James Bay’s “Clocks Go Forward.”

Production duties on “Thinkin ‘Bout You” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – were handled by Stephen “KOZ” Kozmeniuk, who previously teamed up with Dua Lipa on “Last Dance.”

The “Hotter than Hell” star’s debut album, on the other hand, will arrive on June 2nd via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

Dua Lipa has teamed up with Stephan Moccio for a new collaboration.

The Canadian record producer and songwriter is known for his works with The Weeknd (“Earned It”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), Celine Dion (“A New Day Has Come”), Seal (“Daylight Saving”), Jon Bellion (“Fashion”), Skylar Grey (“I Know You”), Ne-Yo (“Ballerina”) and Maty Noyes (“London”).

Moccio has also contributed to the next projects by Skrillex, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Stanaj, Julia Michaels, Tori Kelly, Jasmine Thompson, Conrad Sewell, Jessie Ware, Avery Wilson, Lea Michele, Emeli Sande, and James Blunt.

Selena Gomez drafts Kygo for new single “It Ain’t Me”

Selena Gomez has announced the details for her new single.

The actress, singer, and songwriter christened “It Ain’t Me” – featuring Kygo – as the first promotional cut from her upcoming third album and will release it on Thursday (February 16, 2017).

“It Ain’t Me” was co-written by Kygo – real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll – alongside Ali Tamposi (Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Fifth Harmony, Jude Demorest) and Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Rita Ora).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Gomez’s next studio collection will arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Revival” reportedly delivers productions from Stargate (Beyonce), Jonas Jeberg (Zara Larsson), Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), The Futuristics (Halsey), BloodPop (Lady GaGa) and The Arcade (Iggy Azalea).

On The songwriting front, Gomez has worked with Ross Golan (Charli XCX), Julia Michaels (John Legend), Justin Tranter (Jojo), Albin Nedler (DNCE), Ammar Malik (Shawn Mendes) and Jacob Kasher (Bebe Rexha).

“Digital Love” – featuring guest vocals from actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by James Newman alongside its co-producers Cutfather (Pixie Lott, Calum Scott), Daniel Davidsen (Melanie Chisholm, Olly Murs) and Peter Wallevik (Fleur East, Kylie Minogue).

As a producer, Digital Farm Animals – real name Nicholas Gale – has contributed to the next projects by JP Cooper, Astrid S, Chromeo, Fifth Harmony, Liam Payne, Anne-Marie, Conrad Sewell, Louisa Johnson, Kat Dahlia, Noah Cyrus, John Newman, Taya, KStewart, Rita Ora, Sigma, and Marlon Roudette.
