RoRo releases new promotional single “Trouble”

Bajan singer/songwriter Rochelle Griffith, known mononymously as RoRo, has released her new promotional single online.

“Trouble”  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Maverick Sabre (Becky Hill, Jorja Smith) and collectively produced by Ed Thomas (Mae Muller, Joy Crookes) and Bradford Ellis (Fleur East, Leona Lewis).

RoRo recently provided guest vocals on the track “Prophecies,” taken from UK producer Courage’s latest project under Beastly Recordings, “Get Some Courage, Volume 2.” Her upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via Mahogany Recordings.

Maverick Sabre confirms details for third album “When I Wake Up”

Maverick Sabre has confirmed the details for his upcoming album.

The British singer, songwriter, and record producer christened his third studio collection, “When I Wake Up,” and will release it on March 22, 2019 via FAMM.

Current promotional single “Her Grace” – which was collectively produced by Sabre alongside Charlie Perry and Adam “New Machine” Jordan – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Besides fellow recording artist Jorja Smith, who provides guest vocals on the track “Slow Down,” the follow-up to 2015’s “Innerstanding” also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Dan “Utters” Radclyffe, Ed Thomas, Liam Bailey, and Prashant “Engine Earz” Mistry.

Becky Hill hits the studio with Rachel Furner, The 23rd

British singer/songwriter Becky Hill has teamed up with Rachel Furner and The 23rd for her upcoming debut album under Eko Music / Polydor Records.

Furner’s recent songwriting credits include Alice Chater’s “Heartbreak Hotel,” Kara Marni’s “All or Nothing,” Craig David’s “Love Me Like It’s Yesterday,” The Vamps’ “Personal,” and Catherine McGrath’s “Talk of This Town.”

Meanwhile, The 23rd (composed of siblings George and Henry Flint) are responsible for co-writing and producing singles including Grace Carter’s “Silence,” James TW’s “Say Love,” and Sigrid’s “Plot Twist.”

Hill’s next promotional single “I Could Get Used to This” – which she co-wrote alongside Mike Kintish – is scheduled to arrive later this year.

Her current single “Sunrise in the East” – which was co-written by Maverick Sabre and Peter “Lostboy” Rycroft and collectively produced by ADP and Hit Impulse – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive later this year via Eko Records in partnership with Polydor Records.

“Lost & Found” – featuring singles “Teenage Fantasy,” “Blue Lights,” “Where Did I Go” and “February 3rd” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project yields productions and songwriting contributions from Maverick Sabre, Joel Compass, Amanda Ghost, Ed Thomas, Charlie Perry, Maaike “KiTo” Ebbing, Tom Misch, and Felix Joseph.

Becky Hill announces new single “Sunrise in the East”

Becky Hill has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Rebecca Claire Hill) christened “Sunrise in the East” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming project under Eko Records and Polydor Records.

Co-written by Maverick Sabre and Peter “Lostboy” Rycroft; “Sunrise in the East” will arrive on June 6th via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

As a songwriter, Hill’s resume boasts works with Metroplane (“Word of Mouth”), Tough Love (“Touch”), Bondax (“All I See”), Watermät (“All My Love”), Lindsey Stirling (“Love’s Just a Feeling”) and Felon (“Bittersweet”).

The “Rude Love” singer also provided guest vocals on tracks by Marc Kinchen (“Piece of Me), Rudimental (“Powerless”), Oliver Heldens (“Gecko – Overdrive”), Matoma (“False Alarm”) and Wilkinson (“Afterglow”).

The British singer/songwriter posted the Rashid Babiker-directed clip for “Teenage Fantasy” to her Vevo Channel on Monday (June 12, 2017).

Production duties on “Teenage Fantasy” were handled by Charlie Perry, who previously teamed up with Smith on “Beautiful Little Fools,” “Carry My Home,” “Imperfect Circle,” “So Lonely” and “Something in the Way.”

Maverick Sabre shares details for new album “Innerstanding”

Maverick Sabre - Innerstanding

Maverick Sabre has shared the details for his upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer, songwriter, rapper and guitarist – real name Michael Stafford – christened his next studio collection “Innerstanding” and will release it on October 30 through Mercury Records and Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Come Fly Away” – now available for download via iTunes – was collectively produced by Fraser T. Smith (Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue) and Dan “Utters” Radclyffe (Sinead Harnett, Raleigh Ritchie).

“Innerstanding” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Lonely Are the Brave,” which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “I Need,” “Let Me Go” and “No One.”

Other musicians backing Sabre on the keenly-awaited LP are Chris Loco (Ella Eyre, Tori Kelly), Mr. Hudson (Pixie Lott, Alex Clare), Di Genius (Melissa Steel, Lianne La Havas) and James Hogarth (Sia, Amy Winehouse).
