Noah Cyrus confirms new promotional single “Team”

Noah Cyrus has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Team” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album, “NC-17,” out later this year via Barry Weiss’ label SONGS in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records.

Co-written by Jenna Andrews alongside Emily Weisband and Mike Elizondo; “Team” will arrive on Thursday (May 10) via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “NC-17” reportedly delivers additional contributions from Warren Felder, Jin Jin, Sam Romans, Noonie Bao, Paul Phamous, Sasha Sloan, Big Taste, Two Inch Punch, Sebastian Kole, Ben Abraham, Knightstarr, Joe Janiak, Benny Cassette, and Stint.

Noah Cyrus has teamed up with Warren “Oak” Felder for a new collaboration.

Felder’s production resume boasts works with Demi Lovato (“Sorry Not Sorry”), Kehlani (“Distraction”), Alessia Cara (“Scars to Your Beautiful”), Alina Baraz (“I Don’t Even Know Why Though”) and Snakehips (“Either Way”).

The American musician has also contributed to the next projects by Liam Payne, Sabina Ddumba, Ray BLK, Tori Kelly, Nick Jonas, Zhavia Ward, Dinah Jane, Aloe Blacc, Ella Henderson, John Legend, Sabrina Carpenter, and Raye.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is expected to release her debut album “NC-17” – featuring current single “We Are Fucked” – later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers further contributions from Benny Cassette, Emily Weisband, Big Taste, Sasha Sloan, Knightstarr, Jin Jin, Two Inch Punch, Noonie Bao, Sam Romans, Joe Janiak, Sebastian Kole, Paul E. Phamous, Zaire Kaolo, Trevor Brown, Mike Elizondo, and Stint.

“Divide” – featuring singles “Shape of You,” “Castle on the Hill” and “How Would You Feel (Paen) – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Multiply” delivers productions from Benny Blanco (Rihanna, Mike Posner), Johnny McDaid (Birdy, Harry Styles), Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Alanis Morissette) and Labrinth (Noah Cyrus, The Weeknd).

Production duties on “Superficial Love” were collectively handled by Joel Little (Ella Eyre, Zara Larsson) and Mike Elizondo (Nelly Furtado, Fiona Apple).

Skylar Grey announces details for new album “Natural Causes”

Skylar Grey has announced the details for her upcoming album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Holly Hafermann – christened her next studio collection “Natural Causes” and will release it on September 23 via KIDinaKORNER / Interscope Records.

Among the musicians backing Grey on “Natural Causes” are Alex Da Kid (Rihanna), Mark Batson (Alicia Keys), Jayson DeZuzio (Raleigh Ritchie), Symbolyc One (Madonna), and Mike Elizondo (Natasha Bedingfield).

Grey’s previous studio collection, 2013’s “Don’t Look Down,” peaked to number eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Final Warning” and “Wear Me Out.”

She also collaborated with hitmakers Stephan Moccio and Jason Evigan on the tracks “I Know You” and “Wreak Havoc,” taken from the original motion picture soundtracks “50 Shades of Grey” and “Suicide Squad,” respectively.

On the songwriting front, Grey co-wrote “Gangsta” for Atlantic recording artist Kehlani along with Jeremy “JMike” Coleman, Andrew “Djemba Djemba” Swanson, Jacob Luttrell, and Jason Evigan.
