Stanaj teams up with Afrojack for new promotional single “Bed of Roses”

American singer/songwriter Stanaj has teamed up with Dutch DJ/record producer Afrojack (born Nick van de Wall) for his new promotional single “Bed of Roses,” out on February 14 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Stanaj and fellow recording artist Molly Kate Kestner alongside Thomas Troelsen (Charlie Puth, Jason Derulo) and Giorgio Tuinfort (David Guetta, Gwen Stefani).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stanaj’s upcoming project – featuring the Simon Wilcox-assisted / Nadir “RedOne” Khayat-produced “The Way I Love Her” – is expected to arrive later this year via Republic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Eric Hudson, Diane Warren, Cass Lowe, RuthAnne, Mick Schultz, Chloe Angelides, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Tayla Parx, Stephan Moccio, Koko LaRoo, Danja, Liza Owen, Stephen Puth, Delacey, Mike Posner, Tommy Brown, and Jonny Price.

Stanaj has worked with fellow recording artist Mike Posner for his upcoming debut album.

The Grammy nominated American singer-songwriter, poet, and record producer (born Michael Robert Henrion Posner) recently helmed Nick Jonas’ “Remember I Told You,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Other notable songwriting and production credits by Posner include Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Labrinth’s “Beneath Your Beautiful,” Justin Bieber’s “Girlfriend,” Olly Murs’ “Nothing Without You,” and Cher Lloyd’s “Just Be Mine.”

Meanwhile, Stanaj’s first studio collection – featuring the Simon Wilcox-penned / RedOne & T.I. Jakke-produced “The Way I Love Her” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields additional contributions from Stephan Moccio, Diane Warren, Cass Lowe, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Mick Schultz, Tayla Parx, Eric Hudson, Chloe Angelides, Ido Zmishlany, Jacob Luttrell, Danja, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, The Rascals, and Jussifer.

Nick Jonas premieres music video for new single “Remember I Told You”

Nick Jonas has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the visual clip for “Remember I Told You” – featuring Mike Posner and Anne-Marie – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (June 27, 2017).

“Remember I Told You” was written by Nick Jonas alongside it’s producer Mike Posner, whose other credits include Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Labrinth’s “Beneath Your Beautiful,” Justin Bieber’s “Girlfriend,” Rixton’s “I Like Girls,” Olly Murs’ “Nothing Without You,” and Cher Lloyd’s “Just Be Mine.”

Jonas’ upcoming fourth studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated,” is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions from Greg Wells (Adele), Jason Evigan (Alex Aiono), Gian Stone (Fifth Harmony), Andrew Goldstein (Ne-Yo), Cass Lowe (Snakehips), Nick Monson (Selena Gomez), David Hodges (Colbie Caillat) and Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Cathy Dennis (Chris Brown), Skylar Grey (Rihanna), Harloe (Britney Spears), Ilsey Juber (Majid Jordan), Sarah Hudson (Adam Lambert), Ferras (Katy Perry), Justin Tranter (Imagine Dragons) and Dewain Whitmore (Jordan Fisher).

Mike Posner hits the studio with Naughty Boy

Mike Posner has recorded new music with Naughty Boy.

“Never thought I’d say this but working with @NaughtyBoyMusic is actually pretty amazing,” the singer-songwriter-producer posted to his Twitter account on Saturday (February 07, 2016).

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Posner release or Naughty Boy’s upcoming sophomore album.

The UK record producer and songwriter – real name Shahid Khan – previously collaborated with Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Jess Glynne (“Saddest Vanilla”), Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), and Leona Lewis (“Trouble”).

His debut album “Hotel Cabana” debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned guest appearances from Sam Smith (“La La La”), Emeli Sande (“Lifted”), Gabrielle (“Hollywood”), and Ed Sheeran (“Top Floor”).

Meanwhile, Posner’s current mini-collection “The Truth” – featuring “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” and “Be As You Are” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Monster Mountain / Island Records.

On the songwriting and production front, Posner is known for his works with Maroon 5 (“Sugar”), Labrinth (“Beneath Your Beautiful”), Justin Bieber (“Boyfriend”), Nick Jonas (“Closer”), and Olly Murs (“Nothing Without You”).

Mike Posner releases new EP “The Truth”

Mike Posner has released his new EP online.

“The Truth” – featuring lead single “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Island Records.

Posner’s debut album, 2010’s “31 Minutes to Takeoff,” peaked to number eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of  “Cooler Than Me,” “Please Don’t Go” and “Bow Chicka Wow Wow.”

On the songwriting front, Posner recently penned “Sugar” for Maroon 5 along with Adam Levine, Jacob “JKash” Kasher, Joshua “Ammo” Coleman, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Henry “Cirkut” Walter.

His other songwriting and / or production credits include Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” [Island Records], Labrinth’s “Beneath Your Beautiful” f/ Emeli Sande [Syco Music] and Olly Murs’ “Nothing Without You” [Epic Records].

Rixton have released their debut album online.

“Let the Road” – featuring hit singles “Me and My Broken Heart,” “Wait on Me” and “Hotel Ceiling” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Schoolboy / Giant Little Man / Mad Love / Interscope Records.

The project was prominently produced by Benny Blanco, whose recent credits include Mikky Ekko’s “Watch Me Rise” [RCA Records], Maroon 5’s “Maps” [222 Records] and Charli XCX’s “Caught in the Middle” [Atlantic Records].

Other album producers are Stargate (Tinashe, Bebe Rexha), Ross Golan (Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor), Steve Mac (Shakira, Ella Henderson), Robopop (Lana Del Rey, Prince Royce) and Ammar Malik (Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande).

Maroon 5 have shared the music video for their new single online.

The Pop-Rock band posted the visual clip for “Sugar” to their official Vevo page on Wednesday (January 14, 2015).

“Sugar” appears on the group’s latest album, “V,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with 222 Records and Interscope Records.

The track was written by Maroon 5’s lead vocalist Adam Levine along with Mike Posner, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Joshua “Ammo” Coleman, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Henry “Cirkut” Walter.

Previous promotional cut, the Benny Blanco and Shellback-assisted “Animals,” peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Other musicians backing Maroon 5 on “V” are Rodney Jerkins (Ciara, Leona Lewis), Ryan Tedder (Adele, Natasha Bedingfield), Jason Evigan (Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor) and Sia Furler (Beyonce, Rita Ora).

The track was written by Wayne Hector, Ross Golan, Benjamin Levin, Daniel Omelio, Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen.

Rixton’s debut studio album “Let the Road” will hit stores and digital outlets on January 6, 2015 via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The singer, songwriter and record producer posted the lyric-based visual clip for “Teacher” to his official Vevo page on Friday (November 07, 2014).

“Teacher” was written by Daniel Parker along with Ammar Malik (James Blunt, Mikky Ekko) and Jason Evigan (Olly Murs, Demi Lovato).

The track follows previous single “Jealous,” which peaked at number twenty seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Nick Jonas’ upcoming self-titled album is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on November 10 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.
