Mullally hits the studio with Utters, Ed Thomas for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, known mononymously as Mullally, has enlisted Ed Thomas and Utters for a new collaboration.

Thomas is responsible for co-writing Jorja Smith’s “On My Mind,” Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Aquilo’s “Thin,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”

Meanwhile, Utters’ production resume boasts works with AlunaGeorge (“Last Kiss”), Chronixx (“I Know Love”), Raleigh Ritchie (“In Too Deep”), All Saints (“One Woman Man”), Foxes (“Beauty Queen”), Ella Eyre (“Home”), Selah Sue (“Feel”) and Purple Ferdinand (“Through Your Eyes”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mullally’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “She Don’t Know Me” – is expected to arrive early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional productions from Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Two Inch Punch, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, ADP, Jordan Riley, Cook Classics, Scott Hoffman, Robopop, Will Simms, MNEK, Jonny Coffer, Grades, Scribz Riley, and Cool & Dre.

On the songwriting front, Mullally has also worked with Amy Wadge, Jason Boyd, Danny Parker, Grace Tither, Ali Tennant, Max McElligott, Ari PenSmith, Danny Shah, Jordan Thomas, Levi Lennox, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Chris Brown releases new studio collection “Heartbreak on a Full Moon”

Chris Brown has released his new studio collection online.

“Heartbreak on a Full Moon” – featuring promotional singles “Grass Ain’t Greener,” “Party,” “Everybody Knows,” “Privacy,” “Hope You Do,” and “Pills & Automobiles” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The physical edition of the album – which boasts songwriting contributions from Lyrica Anderson, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, JHart, and Daecolm Holland – will arrive on November 3rd via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

On the follow-up to 2015’s “Royalty,” Brown has also enlisted producers including A1, Scott Storch, Hitmaka, Polow Da Don, Soundz, Moon Willis, Sean Momberger, Pip Kembo, T-Collar, Scribz Riley, Frank Dukes, Boi-1da, Syk Sense, Keyz, Tommy Brown, JMIKE, Cameron Wallace, ADP, and Laney Stewart.

Bobii Lewis hits the studio with Nina Nesbitt, Mojam Music

British singer/songwriter Bobii Lewis has teamed with fellow recording artist Nina Nesbitt and Mojam Music for a new collaboration.

Nesbitt’s songwriting resume boasts works for Olivia Holt (“Phoenix”), Jasmine Thompson (“Love for the Lonely”), Conor Maynard (“Living”), Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”) and The Shires (“Other People’s Things”).

Mojam Music, composed of Mustafa Omer and James Murray, have previously produced Tom Walker’s “Heartland,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Emeli Sande’s “Hurts,” Plan B’s “In the Name of Man,” Frances’ “No Matter,” Conor Maynard’s “Talking About,” and Sinead Harnett’s “Do it Anyway.”

Meanwhile, Lewis’ current promotional single “Drifting” – which was produced by Don Corleone – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Sabrina Claudio has announced the details for her upcoming project.

The American singer/songwriter christened her new project “About Time” and will release it on October 6th via SC Entertainment in partnership with Artist Partner Group (APG) / Atlantic Records.

Current promotional single “Belong to You” – which was produced by Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Alina Baraz has released her new promotional single online.

“Buzzin” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, whose other credits include Zara Larsson’s “So Good,” Jason Derulo’s “Swalla,” Meghan Trainor’s “Watch Me Do,” Jennifer Lopez’s “Ain’t Your Mama,” Sabina Ddumba’s “Not Too Young,” Jessie J’s “Burnin’ Up,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$.”

Production duties on “Buzzin” were handled by Ben Billion$, who is also responsible for G-Eazy & Kehlani’s “Good Life,” The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” Beyonce’s “6 Inch,” Kelly Rowland’s “I Remember,” Future’s “Low Life,” Travis Scott’s “Pray 4 Love,” BANKS’ “Judas,” and Kristian Galva’s “Wrong 4 This.”

Kyla has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Kyla Marie Smith) christened “You Ain’t Mine” – featuring Popcaan – as the first promotional cut from her upcoming project and will release it on September 8th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was produced by Ill Blu (aka James Grant and Darius Ellington) alongside Levi Lennox, whose other credits include Zayn Malik (“Pillow Talk”), Dakota (“Amen”), M.I.A. (“Borders”), KStewart (“On My Own”), Mali-Koa (“Wait Up for Me”), Liv Dawson (“Reflection”) and Ms. Dynamite (“Safe”).

Kyla’s upcoming collection, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.
