Rachel Platten unveils music video for new single “Broken Glass”

Rachel Platten has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Broken Glass” to her Vevo channel on Friday (August 18, 2017).

Co-written by Nate Cyphert (Trey Songz, Florida Georgia Line) and Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre, Rita Ora); the track is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Broken Glass” were collectively handled by Rogers alongside Norwregian duo Stargate (aka Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen), who have recently worked with Bebe Rexha (“I Got Time”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Zara Larsson (“Sundown”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Platten’s second major label album and follow-up to 2016’s “Wildfire” is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Bebe Rexha delivers new mini-collection “All Your Fault: Pt. 2”

Bebe Rexha has delivered her new mini-album online.

“All Your Fault: Pt. 2” – featuring singles “That’s It” and “The Way I Are (Dance with Somebody)” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The new project boasts productions from Stargate (Usher), Jonas Jeberg (Ella Eyre), Murda Beatz (Travis Scott), Joel Little (Lorde), Frank Dukes (Kanye West), Jason Gill (Tove Lo) and David Garcia (Colton Dixon).

On the songwriting front, Rexha has worked with Jacob Kasher (Charlie Puth), Ali Tamposi (Rita Ora), Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber), Sara Hjellström (Astrid S), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Olly Murs) and Theron Thomas (Rihanna).

Rita Ora connects with Avicii for new single “Lonely Together”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has connected with Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer Avicii (born Tim Bergling) for his new promotional single “Lonely Together,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Featuring co-production duties by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat; “Lonely Together” was co-written by Ali Tamposi (Lea Michele, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony) and Andrew Watt (Charlie Puth, Justin Bieber).

Preceded by the Steve Mac-produced / Ed Sheeran-penned “Your Song;” Ora’s upcoming sophomore album is scheduled arrive in 2018 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Stargate, Jonny Coffer, Digital Farm Animals, Jimmy Napes, Leon Thomas, Jake Gosling, Mike Dean, Jason Evigan, Emile Haynie, and RITUAL.

On the songwriting front, Ora has worked with Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Sam Romans, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Max McElligott, Diana Gordon, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Chelcee Grimes, Justin Tranter, Georgia Ku, and Ammar Malik.

Camila Cabello has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“OMG” – featuring Quavo – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Charlotte “Charli XCX” Aitchison (James Blunt, Gwen Stefani), Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius (Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko (Tori Kelly, Louis Tomlinson).

Production duties on “OMG” were handled by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, who are also responsible for Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love,” Pia Mia’s “Touch,” Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck,” and Bebe Rexha’s “Bad Bitch.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello’s debut album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.” – featuring singles “Crying in the Club,” “I Have Questions” and “Havana” – will arrive later this year via Syco Music and Epic Records.

Camila Cabello has confirmed the details for her new promotional singles.

The American singer/songwriter christened “OMG” and “Havana” as the next promotional cuts from her upcoming debut album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” and will release them on August 4th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, “OMG” was co-written by Charli XCX (RAYE, Vance Joy), Noonie Bao (Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Sasha Sloan (Daya, Louis Tomlinson).

The Frank Dukes-produced “Havana,” on the other hand, was co-written by Starrah (Halsey, The Weeknd), Ali Tamposi (Liza Owen, Troye Sivan), Brian Lee (Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo), Andrew Watt (Rita Ora, Charlie Puth) and Pharrell Williams (Kehlani, Justin Timberlake).

As mentioned in earlier posts, “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” – featuring previous singles “Crying the Club” and “I Have Questions” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Syco Music and Epic Records.

Julia Michaels unleashes debut mini-album “Nervous System”

American singer/songwriter Julia Carin Cavazos, professionally known as Julia Michaels, has unleashed her debut mini-album online.

“Nervous System” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to hit promotional singles “Issues” and “Uh Huh,” the mini-collection features five new songs in the shape of “Worst in Me,” “Make it Up to You,” “Just Do It,” “Pink” and “Don’t Wanna Think.”

With the exception of the Stargate and Benny Blanco-produced “Issues,” which peaked to number eleven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, every other song on “Nervous System” was co-written by Justin Tranter alongside Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Swedish production duo Mattman & Robin.

As a songwriter, Michaels recently co-penned Snakehips’ “Either Way,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” Shakira’s “When a Woman,” John Legend’s “What You Do to Me,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” and Skyler Stecker’s “How Did We.”

She has also contributed to the next projects by Tinashe, Charlie Puth, Raye, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Derulo, Ellie Goulding, Years & Years, Billy Raffoul, Jessie Ware, Rita Ora, and Ella Henderson.

Daya hits the studio with Stargate

American singer/songwriter Grace Martine Tandon, professionally known as Daya, has teamed up Stargate for a new collaboration.

“@Daya crushing it,” the Norwegian songwriting and production duo posted to their Instagram account on Wednesday (July 19, 2017).

Stargate’s recent credits include OneRepublic’s “No Vacancy,” Bebe Rexha’s “Bad Bitch,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Zara Larsson’s “Sundown,” AlunaGeorge’s “Hold Your Head High,” Gwen Stefani’s “Asking for It,” Sofia Carson’s “Back to Beautiful,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

Composed of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, the hitmaking duo have also contributed to the next projects by Camila Cabello [Syco Music/Epic Records], Tinashe [RCA Records], Rita Ora [Atlantic Records UK], Zoey Dollaz [Epic Records] and KYLE [Indie-Pop/Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, Daya is reportedly working on her upcoming sophomore album under ARTBEATZ Entertainment / Sony Music Red.

The still-untitled collection follows 2016’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” which peaked to thirty-six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Hide Away” and “Words.”
