Jetta re-releases debut mini-album “Start a Riot”

British singer/songwriter Jetta John-Hartley, known mononymously as Jetta, has re-released her debut mini-album online.

“Start a Riot” – featuring four songs in the shape of “Operators,” “Take it Easy,” “Can You Hear Me Now” and “Start a Riot” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Initially released for a limited time in 2014 via Lava Records and Polydor Records, the project features productions and songwriting contributions from Jim Eliot (Halsey, Leona Lewis), Mima Stilwell (Ellie Goulding, Will Young) and Seton Daunt (Kylie Minogue, Melanie Chisholm).

Jetta’s songs were also recorded by other artists including Ashley Roberts (“Clockwork”), Medina (“We Survive”), Machine Gun Kelly (“Merry Go Round”) and Neon Jungle (“Louder” and “Fool Me”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional works with producers such as TMS, Frank-E, Pharrell Williams, Sigma, Toby Gad, Chris Loco, Francis “Eg” White, Utters, Justin Parker, Richard “Biff” Stannard, and Mojam Music.

Jetta is a British singer-songwriter known for her singles “Start a Riot,” “Feels Like Coming Home,” and the Pharrell Williams-produced “Crescendo.”

The Liverpool-born artist has also worked with a multitude of hitmakers including Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins, Jim Jonsin, Richard Stannard, Adam Argyle, Leah Haywood, Daniel Pringle, Utters, Jake Gosling, Chris Leonard, Rodney Jerkins, Mojam, Wayne Hector, Francis “Eg” White, and Busbee.

On the songwriting front, Jetta has co-penned songs for fellow recording artists including Neon Jungle (“Fool Me”), Ashley Roberts (“Clockwork”), Sigma (“Slow Down”), and Medina (“We Survive”).

Her latest single “Take it Easy” – which was co-written by Jetta along with regular collaborators Jim Eliot and Mima Stilwell – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Casablanca Records.

James Morrison selects “I Need You Tonight” as new single

James Morrison has selected his new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “I Need You Tonight” as the next promotional cut from his latest studio album, “Higher Than Here.”

“I Need You Tonight” was co-written by Paul Barry, whose recent credits include James Bay’s “Let it Go” [Republic], Take That’s “Will You Be There for Me” [Polydor] and The Vamps’ “Another World” [Virgin EMI].

Production duties were handled by Mark Taylor, who is also behind Ella Eyre’s “Always” [Virgin EMI], Kylie Minogue’s “On a Night Like This” [Parlophone] and Enrique Iglesias’s “Heartbeat” f/ Nicole Scherzinger [Polydor].

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Higher Than Here” – featuring previous singles “Demons” and “Stay Like This” – is now available via Island Records.

Other musicians backing Morrison on the follow-up to 2011’s “The Awakening” are Fred Cox, Jim Eliot, Mima Stilwell, Malay, Eg White, Martin Terefe, Jarrad Rogers, Martin Brammer, Kid Harpoon, Jonny Lattimer, and Steve Robson.

Sigma previews debut album “Life”

Sigma have previewed their debut album online.

The mini-mix for “Life” has been posted to 3 Beat’s YouTube channel on Wednesday (December 02, 2015).

Current single “Coming Home” – featuring Rita Ora – was co-written by Wayne Hector (One Direction, Gabrielle Aplin) and co-produced by Tom Barnes, Peter Kelleher, and Ben Kohn of TMS (Sinead Harnett, Years & Years).

“Life” delivers further guest appearances from Jetta (“Slow Down”), Labrinth (“Higher”), Ella Henderson (“Glitterball”), Paloma Faith (“Changing”), Ella Eyre (“Good Times”) and Ina Wroldsen (“Feels Like Home”).

On the songwriting front, Sigma – composed of Joe Lenzie and Cameron Edwards – also teamed up with Fraser T. Smith (Adele), Kid Harpoon (James Bay), Jim Eliot (Leona Lewis) and Mima Stilwell (Kylie Minogue).

Sigma have unveil the music video for their new single online.

The visual clip for “Home” – featuring Rita Ora – has been posted the 3 Beat’s YouTube channel on Friday (November 05, 2015).

Video treatment was handled by Georgia Hudson, whose resume includes further works with Ella Eyre (“Deeper”), Ellie Goulding (“Love Me Like You Do”), Glass Animals (“Hazy”) and Charlotte OC (“If My House Was Burning”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sigma – consisting of members Cameron Edward and Joe Lenzie – are scheduled to release their first studio collection “Life” on December 4 through 3 Beat Music.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further guest appearances from Jetta (“Slow Down”), Labrinth (“Higher”), Paloma Faith (“Changing”), Jacob Banks (“Redemption”) and Ella Henderson (“Glitterball).

“Life” delivers guest vocals from Paloma Faith (“Changing”), Labrinth (“Higher”), Ella Henderson (“Glitterball”), Jetta (“Slow Down”), Maverick Sabre (“Broken Promises”), Shakka (“Lost Away”) and Jacob Banks (“Redemption”).

James Morrison has confirmed the details for his upcoming album.

The British singer/songwriter christened his fourth studio collection “Higher Than Here” and will release it on October 30 through Island Records.

Lead single “Demons” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was written by Morrison along with Mima Stilwell (Kylie Minogue, Will Young) and Jim Eliot (Leona Lewis, Emeli Sande).

Other musicians backing Morrison on the keenly-awaited LP are Eg White (Sam Smith), Kid Harpoon (Jessie Ware), Malay (John Legend), Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs), Martin Terefe (Shawn Mendes) and Mark Taylor (Ella Eyre).
