British singer/songwriter Dan Caplen has teased a new collaboration with Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector, and Jonny Coffer.

“Catching ideas yesterday with Jamie Scott x Wayne Hector x Jonny Coffer,” he posted to his Instagram on Wednesday (September 27, 2017).

Scott and Coffer have collectively written and produced songs for Rag’n’Bone Man (“Skin”), Ady Suleiman (“Wait for You”), Beach (“Bite My Tongue”) and Ella Henderson (“Paperback Love”).

Meanwhile, Hector’s recent songwriting credits include Taya’s “When You’re Sober,” Olly Murs’ “You Don’t Know Love,” Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows,” Little Mix’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Anne-Marie’s “Alarm,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “First Time,” and JONES’ “Til We Get There.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-featuring / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

Other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Two Inch Punch, Hannah Yadi, Frank Gamble, Jennifer Decilveo, Levi Lennox, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jamie Hartman, Fraser T. Smith, Grades, Dave Tozer, Bastian Langebaek, Fred Ball, MJ Cole, and Felix Joseph.

Dan Caplen enlists Jennifer Decilveo for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Daniel Sebastian Caplen, professionally known as Dan Caplen, has enlisted Jennifer Decilveo for a new collaboration.

According to ASCAP’s ACE Repertory, Decilveo previously co-wrote three tracks with Caplen in the shape of “Good Temptations,” “Hoops,” and “Say My Name.”

Her songwriting resume boasts additional works with Ryn Weaver (“Sail On”), Melanie Martinez (“Play Date”), Diana Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Beth Ditto (“We Could Run”), Michelle Branch (“Temporary Feeling”), Andra Day (“Rise Up”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”) and Wens (“Bleed”).

Meanwhile, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-featuring / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Dan Caplen has drafted Felix Joseph for a new collaboration.

Joseph recently helmed the entirety of Elli Ingram’s debut album under Island Records, “Love You Really,” which features promotional singles “Stone Cold,” “Better Alone” and the Laura Dockrill-assisted “Table for Two.”

The British record producer, songwriter, photographer, and art director has also worked with the likes of Abi Ocia (“Konfyt”), Jorja Smith (“Beautiful Little Fools”), Aquilo (“Never Hurt Again”), Cosima (“Hymns for Him”), Kwabs (“Perfect Ruin”), Ray BLK (“50/50”), Professor Green (“Not Your Man”), Birdy (“Take My Heart”) and Kevin Garrett (“Pulling Me Under”).

Meanwhile, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The pair previously teamed up on the unreleased track “Creeping Around,” which was co-written with Amy Wadge.

Cox’s resume boasts further songwriting and production works with Joel Compass (“Back to Me”), Lion Babe (“Impossible”), Rosie Lowe (“So Human”), Chloe Leone (“Comfortably Me”), Kiah Victoria (“Treat Me”), Denai Moore (“Leave it Up to You”) and Rag’n’Bone Man (“Grace”).

“Still” – now available for download via iTunes – was collectively helmed by Bruno Major (Raye, SG Lewis) and MJ Cole (Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige).

Dawson’s upcoming project – featuring previous single “Tapestry” – is scheduled to arrive later this year through Method Records.

Mary J. Blige has debuted a new song online.

The R&B singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Nobody But You” to her official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (October 1, 2014).

“Nobody But You” was written and Sam Smith along with Jimmy Napes, whose credits include Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” f/ Jess Glynne [Atlantic Records] and Gorgon City’s “Unmissable” f/ Zak Abel [Virgin EMI Records].

Production duties on “Nobody But You” were handled by Matthew “MJ Cole” Coleman, who is also responsible for Katy B’s “Blue Eyes” [Columbia Records] and Dizzee Rascal’s “Bassline Junkie” [Island Records].

As previously reported, Blige’s next studio collection “The London Sessions” will hit stores and digital outlets on December 2nd via Capitol Records.

Album contributors include Rodney Jerkins (Brandy, Mariah Carey), Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Ella Eyre), Eg White (Adele, Celine Dion), Disclosure (AlunaGeorge, Jessie Ware) and Craze & Hoax (Pixie Lott, Leona Lewis).

Mary J. Blige has released the lyric video for her new single online.

The R&B singer/songwriter posted the lyric-based visual clip for “Whole Damn Year” to her official Vevo page on Wednesday (October 1, 2014).

“Whole Damn Year” was co-written by Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy, who are also responsible for Rihanna’s “Half of Me” [Def Jam Recordings], Leona Lewis’ “Trouble” [Syco Music] and Fantasia’s “Side Effects of You” [RCA Records].

As previously reported, Blige’s next studio collection “The London Sessions” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on December 2 via Capitol Records.

The highly-anticipated LP will be executive produced by Rodney Jerkins, whose recent works include Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine (Eternal)” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ariana Grande’s “Hands On Me” [Republic Records].
