Carly Rae Jepsen reunites with Evan “Kidd” Bogart for a new collaboration

Carly Rae Jepsen has reunited with Evan “Kidd” Bogart for a new collaboration.

The American music executive, television producer, music publisher and songwriter previously co-penned “Black Heart” for Jepsen alongside the song’s producer Greg Wells. The track appears on Jepsen’s 2015 album, “E.MO.TION,” which peaked to number sixteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Other notable credits by Bogart include ZZ Ward’s “Help Me Mama,” Lizzo’s “Coconut Oil,” Hey Violet’s “Pure,” Fleur East’s “Love Me or Leave Me Alone,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Britney Spears’ “Love Me Down,” Leona Lewis’ “Happy,” Jason Derulo’s “It Girl,” Rihanna’s “S.O.S,” Rachel Platten’s “Hey Hey Hallelujah,” and Demi Lovato’s “I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me.”

Jepsen, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via School Boy Records and Interscope Records.

Other songwriters expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are Charlotte “Charlie XCX” Aitchison (Camila Cabello), Amanda “MNDR” Warner (AlunaGeorge), Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius (Dua Lipa), Phoebe Ryan (The Chainsmokers), Simon Wilcox (Nick Jonas), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Sam Smith), Justin Tranter (Ellie Goulding) and Nathaniel “Nate” Campany (Tori Kelly).

Meanwhile, fans of Bogart’s songwriting works should keep an eye on the next projects by acts and artists including DAKOTA, Bethany Noel Mota, Karen Harding, Ella Henderson, Georgia Ku, Jess Glynne, Kyla Smith, Ella Eyre, Rudimental, MKTO, Stanaj, and Robert DeLong.

Clean Bandit teases new collaboration with Jess Glynne, Jimmy Napes

Clean Bandit have reunited in the studio with Jess Glynne and Jimmy Napes.

“MC Emotional Banger and DJ Vibrancy jamming @jessglynne @jimmynapes,” the British electronic music group – composed of Grace Chatto and siblings Jack and Luke Patterson – posted to their Instagram profile.

Clean Bandit previously teamed with Glynne and Napes on international hit single “Rather Be,” which topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Glynne also provided guest vocals on Clean Bandit’s “Real Love,” which peaked to number two on the UK Singles Chart, and Napes co-wrote “Extraordinary,” which delivered guest vocals from UK singer-songwriter Sharna Bass.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the upcoming sophomore album by Clean Bandit – featuring singles “Tears,” “Rockabye” and “Symphony” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “New Eyes” boasts contributions from Sam Romans (Craig David), Mark Ralph (AlunaGeorge), Ina Wroldsen (Janelle Monae), Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez) and Steve Mac (Demi Lovato).

Other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled project are Toby Gad (Beyonce), Natasha Bedingfield (Tori Kelly), Labrinth (Noah Cyrus), Priscilla Renae (Rihanna), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith), Eyelar (Diztortion), Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson), MNDR (Charli XCX) and Joel Compass (Tinashe).

Charli XCX has recorded new music with Carly Rae Jepsen.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Charlotte Aitchison – has co-penned songs for other acts/artists including Icona Pop (“I Love It”), RAYE (“I, U, Us”), Neon Jungle (“So Alive”), Iggy Azalea (“Beg for It”), will.i.am (“Boys & Girls”), Selena Gomez (“Same Old Love”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Drop That Kitty”), MØ (“Drum”), Ricky Reed (“Joan of Arc”), Ryn Weaver (“Octahate”), Gwen Stefani (“Hell Yeah Baby”) and James Blunt (“When I Find Love”).

Her new mixtape “Number 1 Angel” – featuring 10 songs including “Dreamer,” “Blame it On You,” “Roll with Me,” “Emotional,” “ILY2,” “White Roses,” “Babygirl” and “Ligpgloss” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Canadian recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen has teamed up with MNDR and Justin Raisen for a new collaboration.

American singer/songwriter MNDR (real name Amanda Warner) is responsible for co-writing Charli XCX’s “Babygirl,” Jake Miller’s “Superhuman,” AlunaGeorge’s “Mean What I Mean,” Flume’s “Like Water,” Kylie Minogue’s “Les Sex,” Brooke Candy’s “Rubber Band Stacks,” and Sean Paul’s “Legacy.”

Meanwhile, Raisen’s songwriting/production resume boasts works for Charli XCX (“London Queen”), Sky Ferreira (“Love in Stereo”), Santigold (Who I Thought You Were), Lawrence Rothman (“H”), MS MR (“Criminals), Theophilus London (“Why Even Try?”), Kim Gordon (“Murdered Out”), Ariel Pink (“Picture Me Gone”), Little Boots (“Satellite”) and Angel Olsen (“Shut Up Kiss Me”).

Jepsen, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via School Boy Records and Interscope Records.

Brooke Candy teams up with Sia for new single “Living Out Loud”

Brooke Candy has released her new single online.

“Living Out Loud” – featuring Australian singer/songwriter Sia – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Sia alongside Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Nick Jonas, Mariah Carey), Geoffrey Early (Bipolar Sunshine, Niykee Heaton) and Greg Kurstin (Kylie Minogue, Gwen Stefani).

Production duties on “Living Out Loud” were handled by Jesse Shatkin, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer,” Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible,” an Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now.”

Candy’s upcoming debut album “Daddy Issues” – featuring previous singles “Rubber Band Stacks,” “Happy Days,” “Changes,” “Nasty” and “Paper or Plastic” – will arrive later this year via RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated LP reportedly delivers productions from Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift), Nonfiction (Chris Brown), Magnus Lidehall (Katy Perry), Snob Scrilla (Jessica Mauboy) and Jayson DeZuzio (Skylar Grey).

On the songwriting front, Brooke Candy has worked with Jude Demorest (Fifth Harmony), Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa), MNDR (Charli XCX), Talay Riley (Craig David), Livvi Franc (Zara Larsson) and Ali Tamposi (Lea Michele).

Jake Miller unveils music video for new single “Overnight”

Jake Miller has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the Edgar Esteves-directed clip for “Overnight” – starring Simone Biles – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (October 18, 2016).

“Overnight” was co-written by Travis Mills alongside Ilsey Juber (Beyonce, Mariah Carey) and James “JHart” Abrahart (Little Mix, Fifth Harmony).

Production duties were collectively handled by Andreas “Axident” Schuller (Jason Derulo, Adam Lambert), James “Gladius” Wong (Bridget Mendler, Daniel Bedingfield) and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt (Inna, Justin Bieber).

Miller’s latest EP of the same name – featuring previous single “Good Thing” – is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other contributors on the mini-collection are The Stereotypes (John Legend), MNDR (Charli XCX), Halatrax (Sabrina Carpenter), Koko LaRoo (Bebe Rexha), Dillon Frances (Will Heard) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Selena Gomez).

AlunaGeorge have unleashed a new song online.

The British electronic music duo posted the audio clip for “Mediator” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (September 01, 2016).

“Mediator” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by group members Aluna Francis and George Reid along with Tom Aspaul, who also worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”), Alex Newell (“Shame”), and Karen Harding (“Those Girls”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, AlunaGeorge’s upcoming album “I Remember” – featuring singles “I’m in Control” and “Mean What I Mean” – is scheduled to arrive on September 16 via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).
