Rachel Platten delivers new studio collection “Waves”

Rachel Platten has delivered her new studio collection online.

“Waves” – featuring promotional singles “Broken Glass,” “Perfect for You” and “Collide” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Album songwriters include Lindy Robbins (Faith Hill), Sean Douglas (Demi Lovato), Nate Cyphert (Kenzie May), Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Troye Sivan), Sam Martin (Colbie Caillat) and Mitch Allan (Bebe Rexha).

The follow-up to 2016’s “Wildfire” also boasts productions from StarGate (Beyonce), Jason Evigan (Prince Royce), Mstr Rogers (Ella Eyre), Ian Kirkpatrick (Fleur East), Busbee (Maren Morris), Jon Levine (Kat Dahlia), Ryan Tedder (Adele), Zach Skelton (Camila Cabello) and Jonas Jeberg (Daya).

Rachel Platten has shared her new promotional single online.

“Collide” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Cameron Jaymes of Christian music band Jaymes Reunion alongside Lindy Robbins (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato), Busbee (Gwen Stefani, Maren Morris) and Jason Evigan (Rita Ora, Britney Spears).

Platten’s upcoming studio collection “Waves” – featuring previous promotional singles “Broken Glass” and “Perfect for You” – will arrive on October 27th via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Wildfire” boasts further songwriting contributions from Sean Douglas (Jason Derulo), Nate Cyphert (Kenzie May), Leland (Troye Sivan), Sam Martin (Colbie Caillat) and Mitch Allan (Jasmine Thompson).

On the production front, Platten has worked with StarGate (Pink), Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre), Ian Kirkpatrick (Dua Lipa), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Ryan Tedder (Adele), Jonas Jeberg (Kylie Minogue) and Zach Skelton (Hailee Steinfeld).

Rachel Platten unveils music video for new single “Broken Glass”

Rachel Platten has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Broken Glass” to her Vevo channel on Friday (August 18, 2017).

Co-written by Nate Cyphert (Trey Songz, Florida Georgia Line) and Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre, Rita Ora); the track is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Broken Glass” were collectively handled by Rogers alongside Norwregian duo Stargate (aka Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen), who have recently worked with Bebe Rexha (“I Got Time”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Zara Larsson (“Sundown”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Platten’s second major label album and follow-up to 2016’s “Wildfire” is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Ella Eyre drafts Ty Dolla $ign for new single “Ego”

Ella Eyre has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Ella Mary McMahon) christened “Ego” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on August 11 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The Ty Dolla $ign-featuring track was co-written by Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s next studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Becky Hill (Professor Green), HARLOE (Britney Spears), Lauren Christy (Akon), Kamille (Louisa Johnson), Ilsey Juber (Nick Jonas), Emily Warren (Molly Kate Kestner), Stephenie Jones (James Blunt), Sam Preston (Nina Nesbitt) and Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Jason Derulo).

On the production front, Eyre has worked with Jason Evigan (Madonna), ADP (Dan Caplen), Jonas Jeberg (Selena Gomez), Crada (Kid Cudi), Jonny Coffer (Tanika), Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles), Joel Little (Lorde), Toby Gad (John Legend), Mstr Rogers (Andra Day), Emanuel Kiriakou (Ne-Yo), Two Inch Punch (Jessie Reyez) and Mojam Music (Plan B).

Betty Who reveals “The Valley” tracklisting

Betty Who has revealed the tracklisting for her upcoming sophomore album.

The Australian singer/songwriter – real name Jessica Newham – will release “The Valley” on March 24 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “Some Kind of Wonderful” – now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming outlets – was produced by Warren “Oak” Felder, Zaire Koalo, and Trevor Brown.

Other album producers include Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre), Toby Gad (Beyonce), Robopop (Britney Spears), Martin Johnson (Avril Lavigne), Felix Snow (SZA), Andrew Wansel (Kehlani), DJ U-Tern (Kelly Clarkson) and Oligee (Jessie J).

Betty Who has also collaborated with songwriters Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony), Ali Tamposi (Rita Ora), Fran Hall (Selena Gomez), Wrabel (Kesha), Phoebe Ryan (Melanie Martinez), Zak Waters (Jojo), Simon Wilcox (Nick Jonas) and Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Tiggs Da Author).

Natalie La Rose records new music with DJ Marley Waters

Natalie La Rose has recorded new music with DJ Marley Waters.

The American rapper, producer and songwriter is widely known as a Trapstep DJ and as one of the producers of Tinashe’s platinum single “2 On”.

His other credits include Justine Skye’s “Anticipation” [Atlantic Records], Colette Carr’s “Can’t Touch This” [Interscope Records] and Omarion’s “Lit” [Maybach Music Group].

La Rose, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection in 2017 via International Music Group and Republic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts songwriting contributions Caroline Ailin (Ella Henderson), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes), Courtney Harrell (Jennifer Hudson) and Rosina “Soaky Siren” Russell (David Guetta).

On the production front, La Rose has teamed up with Shama Joseph (Rihanna), Tommy Brown (Nas), Detail (Beyoncé), GRADES (NAO), The Stereotypes (Tamia), MSTR ROGERS (Icona Pop) and RedOne (Pitbull).

Icona Pop reunite with MSTR ROGERS for new single “Brightside”

Icona Pop have confirmed the details for their new single online.

The Swedish duo – consisting of Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo – christened “Brightside” as the first promotional cut from their upcoming third album and will release it on October 21 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Brightside” was co-written and produced by MSTR ROGERS, who previously teamed up with Icona Pop on the Fransisca Hall and Anjulie Persaud-penned “In the Stars” as well as “Someone Who Can Dance.”

The Australian hitmaker’s resume boasts further works with Ella Eyre (“If I Go”), Rebecca Ferguson (“I Hope”), Demi Lovato (“Fire Starter”), Neon Jungle (“So Alive”), Bea Miller (“Fire ‘N Gold”) and Delta Goodrem (“Not Me, Not I”).

Meanwhile, Icona Pop’s next studio collection under TEN Music Group reportedly delivers additional alliances with Patrik Berger (Carly Rae Jepsen), Noonie Bao (Dua Lips), Charli XCX (Selena Gomez), Tove Lo (Ellie Goulding), Jason Evigan (Britney Spears) and Sean Douglas (Enrique Iglesias).

Their previous album, 2013’s “This Is…Icona Pop,” peaked to number thirty six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “All Night,” “Just Another Night” and “I Love It.”
