Mutya Keisha Siobahn reunite for new music

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have reunited in the studio for new music.

The British girl group – composed of members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghey – have released their last single “Flatline” in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records. The Devonte Hynes-produced cut peaked to number fifty on the UK Singles Chart.

Their song “Love in Stereo,” which was written by the trio alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, appears on Bananarama’s latest studio collection, “In Stereo,” now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

As the the original line-up of Sugababes, the trio’s debut album “One Touch” dropped in November 2000 via London Records. The critically-acclaimed collection debuted at number twenty-six on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Overload,” “Run for Cover,” “New Year” and “Soul Sound.”

While Buchanan has not released a solo album as-of-yet, Donaghy released two albums in the shape of “Revolution in Me” (2003) and “Ghosts” (2007). Buena’s solo album “Real Girl” was released in 2007 via Island Records UK.

That project featured lead single “Real Girl,” as well as contributions from Salaam Remi, Wayne Wilkins, Nina Woodford, Johnny Douglas, Angela Hunte, Felix Howard, Pam Sheyne, Ali Tennant, and Francis “Eg” White.

Bananarama record MKS song for new album “In Stereo”

British female pop duo Bananarama – composed of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have a recorded a song originally performed by MKS for their eleventh album, “In Stereo,” which will arrive on April 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Love in Stereo” was written by MKS members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, who are also responsible for Rachel Stevens’ “Some Girls,” Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Starlight,” and Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Beat the Feeling.”

Originally formed in 1998 as Sugababes, MKS have released their last single “Flatline” (which was co-written and produced by Blood Orange’s Devonte Hynes) in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Their highly-anticipated album featured further contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (“Beat is Gone”), Shaznay Lewis (“Boys”), Tom Aspaul (“Burnt Out”), MNEK (“Drum”), Iain James (“Love Me Hard”), Sia (“Surrender”), Eliot James (“Summer of 99”) and Mojam (“Too in Love”).

Whinnie Williams premieres “Stupid Things” music video

Whinnie Williams - Bad Girl

Whinnie Williams has premiered a new music video online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Stupid Things” to her official Vevo page on Monday (December 22, 2014).

The track is lifted from the artist’s mini-album, “Bad Girl,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Night Beach Records.

Production duties on “Stupid Things” were handled by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who also teamed with Williams on previous singles “Break Hearts in Your Sleep” and “You Don’t Love Me.”

In addition, Future Cut have contributed to the next projects by Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records], Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records], Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records] and Tamera Foster [Syco Music].

MNEK teams up with Moko for new song “Judgment Day”

A new song title has been revealed from MNEK’s debut album.

“Judgment Day” – which features Moko – is slotted for inclusion on the British artist’s forthcoming as-yet-untitled LP with Virgin EMI Records.

Lead single “Every Little Word” – written and produced by MNEK – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

He also contributed to the next albums by Madeon [Interscope Records], Clean Bandit [Atlantic Records], Becky Hill [Parlophone Records], Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records] and Rudimental [Black Butter Records].

Some of his recent songwriting and production credits include “Nothing Feels Like You” by Little Mix [Columbia Records], “Bad 4 U” by Tanika [Virgin EMI Records] and “Feels So Good” by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records].

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have confirmed a new song title from their upcoming LP.

“Love Me Hard” will be included on the group’s highly-anticipated album, which will be released in 2014 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The track was written by group members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy along with Iain James, whose credits include “Hand on Heart” by Olly Murs [Epic Records] and “Mr. Loverboy” by Little Mix [Syco Music].

Production duties were handled by Richard “Biff” Stannard and Ash Howes, who are also responsible for “One More Sleep” by Leona Lewis [RCA Records] and “New York City Lights” by Sophie Ellis Bextor [Polydor Records].

Other tracks slotted for inclusion on the still-untitled disc are “No Regrets,” “I’m Alright,” the Shaznay Lewis-assisted “Boys,” the Sia Furler-penned “Surrender,” and the Blood Orange-produced “Flatline.”

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have debuted a new song online.

“No Regrets” is slotted for inclusion on the British group’s upcoming album with Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The track was co-written by Iain James, whose credits include “Stereotype” by Samsaya [BMG Chrysalis], “Officially Yours” by Craig David [Warner Bros. Records] and “Wings” by Little Mix [Columbia Records].

The songwriter/vocal producer has also worked with the likes of A*M*E [Epic Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Olly Murs [Epic Records], Taio Cruz [Island Records] and One Direction [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, the still-untitled collection by MKS is expected to yield further songwriting contributions from Sia Furler (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue), Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, Pixie Lott), Angela Hunte (Elle Varner, Miley Cyrus) and Diane Warren (Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey).

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have unveiled a new remix online.

MNEK posted the remix for “Flatline” to his official SoundCloud page.

The British singer/songwriter/producer – born Uzoechi Emenike – has also collaborated with MKS for their upcoming album, out in early 2014 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

His other credits include A*M*E [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records], Charli XCX [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records], The Saturdays [Universal Music Group / Fascination Records], Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records] and Rudimental [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].

“Flatline” – written by group members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy along with Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes – will be available for download on September 15 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
