Carly Rae Jepsen liberates new single “Cut to the Feeling”

Carly Rae Jepsen has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Cut to the Feeling” – which is taken from the motion picture soundtrack to the upcoming film “Leap!” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Originally intended for Jepsen’s 2015 album “E.MO.TION,” the track was co-written by Simon Wilcox and Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza, who are also behind Tinashe’s “Flame,” Nick Jonas’ “Jealous,” DNCE’s “Unsweet,” Fifth Harmony’s “Squeeze,” and Demi Lovato’s “Body Talk.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jepsen is expected to release her next studio collection later this year via School Boy Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts songwriting contributions from Noonie Bao (Dua Lipa), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly), Phoebe Ryan (Britney Spears), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Jess Glynne), Amanda “MNDR” Warner (AlunaGeorge), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Sam Smith), Charli XCX (Blondie), Justin Tranter (Betty Who) and Maureen “MoZella” McDonald (Tinashe).

Among the producers expected to appear on the album are Alex Hope (Kacy Hill), Patrik Berger (Santigold), Kyle Shearer (Melanie Martinez), Captain Cuts (Bebe Rexha), Pontus Winnberg (Sky Ferreira), Justin Raisen (Angel Olsen), BloodPop (Madonna), Kaytranada (Craig David) and Fred Ball (Zara Larsson).

Tori Kelly teams with Warren “Oak” Felder for new project

American singer/songwriter Victoria Loren Kelly, professionally known as Tori Kelly, has teamed with Warren “Oak” Felder for a new project.

Felder is known for co-writing and producing Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Chris Brown’s “Superhuman,” Toni Braxton’s “Hands Tied,” Mayer Hawthorne’s “Her Favorite Song,” Jennifer Lopez’s “Expertease,” Usher’s “Good Kisser,” Britney Spears’ “Clumsy,” Trey Songz’s “Unusual,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible,” Joe’s “Where You At,” and Ariana Grande’s “Break Your Heart Right Back.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters Frankie Storm, Ilsey Juber, Tiffany Fred, Ester Dean, Candice Nelson, Delisha Thomas, Heather Bright, Ayak Thiik, Bianca Atterberry, Kalenna Harper, Jessyca Wilson, Ursula Yancy, Stacy Barthe, Kirby Lauryen, Priscilla Renea, Jenna Andrews, Chasity Nwagbara, Lyrica Anderson, Nikeshia Briscoe, Kelly Sheehan, and Sia Furler.

Meanwhile, Kelly is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Unbreakable Smile,” later this year via School Boy Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further productions from Noel Zancanella (Ellie Goulding), Stephan Moccio (Skylar Grey), Neff-U (Demi Lovato), Kyle Shearer (Phoebe Ryan) and Fred Cox (Janelle Monae).

Carly Rae Jepsen has reunited with Evan “Kidd” Bogart for a new collaboration.

The American music executive, television producer, music publisher and songwriter previously co-penned “Black Heart” for Jepsen alongside the song’s producer Greg Wells. The track appears on Jepsen’s 2015 album, “E.MO.TION,” which peaked to number sixteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Other notable credits by Bogart include ZZ Ward’s “Help Me Mama,” Lizzo’s “Coconut Oil,” Hey Violet’s “Pure,” Fleur East’s “Love Me or Leave Me Alone,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Britney Spears’ “Love Me Down,” Leona Lewis’ “Happy,” Jason Derulo’s “It Girl,” Rihanna’s “S.O.S,” Rachel Platten’s “Hey Hey Hallelujah,” and Demi Lovato’s “I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me.”

Jepsen, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via School Boy Records and Interscope Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts productions from Tim Anderson (BANKS), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Chris Spilfogel (Halsey), Daniel Nigro (Sky Ferreira), Trevor Lawrence Jr. (Bruno Mars) and Linda Perry (Alicia Keys).

British singer/songwriter Charlotte OC has released a new song online.

The acoustic rendition of “Darkest Hour” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Charlotte OC alongside Jarrad Rogers (Demi Lovato, Rita Ora) and Sean Foreman (Kesha, Ariana Grande).

Production duties on “Darkest Hour” were handled by Tim Anderson, whose other credits include BANKS’ “Mind Games,” Sam Sparrow’s “Yellow Orange Rays,” Halsey’s “Hurricane,” and Solange’s “Sleep in the Park.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Charlotte OC will release her sophomore studio collection “Careless People” on March 31 via Harvest Records.

The highly-anticipated project delivers further songwriters contributions from Tom Aspaul (Celeste Waite), Andrew Jackson (Ellie Goulding), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly), Daniel Nigro (Sky Ferreira) and Laura “LP” Pergolizzi (Becky Hill).
