Pink unleashes eighth studio collection “Hurts 2B Human”

American singer/songwriter Alecia Moore, known mononymously as Pink, has unleashed eighth studio collection online.

“Hurts 2B Human” – featuring lead promotional single “Walk Me Home” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The highly-anticipated project boasts productions from Max Martin, Shellback, Billy Mann, Oscar Gorres, Ryan Tedder, Greg Kurstin, Jorgen Odegard, Wrabel, Steve Robson, Peter Thomas, Kyle Mooreman, and The Struts.

On the songwriting front, Pink has worked with Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds, Beck, Scott Harris, Nate Ruess, Sia, Freddy Wexler, Ilsey Juber, Steph Jones, Julia Michaels, Teddy Geiger, Eskeerdo, Sasha Sloan, Uffie, Allen Shamblin, Tom Douglas, and Jetta-John Hartley.

Nate Ruess has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for “Great Big Storm” has been posted to Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel on Tuesday (July 14, 2015).

Production duties on “Great Big Storm” were handled by Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys) and Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs).

Ruess’ debut album “Grand Romantic” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Nothing Without Love” and “AhHa” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Fueled By Ramen and Atlantic Records.

Nate Ruess confirms details for debut album “Grand Romantic”

Nate Ruess has confirmed the details for his upcoming debut album.

The singer/songwriter christened his first studio collection “Grand Romantic” and will release it on June 16 under Warner Music Group / Fueled By Ramen.

Lead single “Nothing Without Love” – now available for download via iTunes – was penned by Ruess and produced by Jeff Bhasker, who other credits include Alicia Keys (“Tears Always Win”) and Bruno Mars (“Locked Out of Heaven”).

As a songwriter, Ruess co-penned Kesha’s “Die Young” [Kemosabe Records] and Ellie Goulding’s “Goodness Gracious” [Polydor Records].

He also provided guest vocals on hit singles “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink [RCA Records] and “Headlights” by Eminem [Interscope Records].

Nate Ruess has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The Anthony Mandler-directed clip for “Nothing Without Love” has been posted to Fueled By Ramen’s Youtube channel on Monday (February 23, 2015).

“Nothing Without Love” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was produced by Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys) and Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs).

On the songwriting front, Ruess is co-responsible for Kesha’s “Die Young” [Kemosabe / RCA Records], Ellie Goulding’s “Goodness Gracious” [Polydor Records] and Kiesza’s “Cannonball” [Roc Nation Records].

His as-yet-untitled debut album will be released later this year under Fueled By Ramen in partnership with Warner Music Group imprint Atlantic Records.

Release Date for Rihanna’s concept album “Home” revealed

The release date for Rihanna’s upcoming concept album has been revealed.

Dreamworks Animation’s “Home“ is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on March 17 via Roc Nation and Rihanna’s label Westbury Road Entertainment.

In addition to Rihanna, the original motion picture soundtrack boasts further guest appearances from Jennifer Lopez (“Feel the Light”), Charli XCX (“Red Balloon”), Kiesza (“Cannonball”) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (“Run to Me”).

Album producers include Stargate (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Rodney Jerkins (Ciara, Toni Braxton), Cashmere Cat (Usher, Bebe Rexha), Emile Haynie (Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars) and Tiago Carvalho (James Arthur, Elijah Blake).

On the songwriting front, “Home” features alliances with Ester Dean (Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj), Mozella (Tinashe, Miley Cyrus), Alicia Renee (Ariana Grande, Havana Brown) and Nate Ruess (Ke$ha, Ellie Goulding).

Emile Haynie drafts Lana Del Rey for new song “Wait for Life”

Emile Haynie has debuted a new song online.

The record producer and songwriter posted the “Wait for Life” audio clip to his official Vevo page on Monday (January 19, 2015).

“Wait for Life” features Lana Del Rey, who previously teamed with Haynie on “Born to Die” singles “National Anthem” and “Summertime Sadness.”

The track is slotted for inclusion on Haynie’s debut album, “We Fall,” which will be released on February 24 via Interscope Records. Other CD contributors include Devonte Hynes, Lykke Li, Nate Ruess and Andrew Wyatt.

On the songwriting and production front, Haynie has worked with Pink [RCA Records], Bruno Mars [Atlantic Records], Emeli Sande [Virgin EMI Records], Jessie Ware [Island Records] and Natalia Kills [Interscope Records].

His recent credits include Eminem’s “Guts Over Fear” featuring Sia [Shady Records / Interscope Records], Bleachers’ “Who I Want You to Love” [RCA Records] and FKA Twigs’ “Two Weeks” [Young Turks Recordings].

Ellie Goulding drops music video for new single ‘Goodness Gracious’

Ellie Goulding is out with the music video for her new single online.

“Goodness Gracious” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s latest project, “Halcyon Days,” out now via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The track was co-written by Ellie Goulding along with Nate Ruess of Fun, who previously contributed to hit singles “Die Young” by Ke$ha [Kemosabe Records] and “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink [RCA Records].

Production duties were handled by Greg Kurstin, who also teamed up with Goulding on the Ryan Tedder-assisted “Burn.”

Other notable credits by Kurstin include “Standing in the Sun” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Underneath the Tree” by Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records] and “Double Rainbow” by Katy Perry [Capitol Records].

“Halcyon Days” boasts further alliances from Bonnie McKee (Jason Derulo, Lea Michele), Eg White (Rebecca Ferguson, Celine Dion), Fraser T. Smith (Ella Eyre, Sam Smith) and Daniel “DJ Fresh” Stein (Nicola Roberts, Liam Bailey).
