Demi Lovato liberates music video for new single “Sorry Not Sorry”

Demi Lovato has liberated the music video for new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Sorry Not Sorry” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (July 19, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sean Douglas, whose recent credits include Fitz & the Tantrums’ “Fool,” Big Boi’s “Freakanomics,” Dua Lipa’s “Garden,” Pitbull’s “Options,” and The Chainsmokers’ “Honest.”

Production duties on “Sorry Not Sorry” were collectively handled by Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown and Zaire Koalo, who are also behind Kehlani’s “Everything is Yours,” Betty Who’s “Some Kinda Wonderful,” ZZ Ward’s “Ghost,” and Bea Miller’s “Burning Bridges.”

Lovato’s next album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Hollywood Records and Island Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Confident” reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Neff-U, Priscilla Renea, Happy Perez, Miguel, Laleh Pourkarim, Emile Haynie, Tayla Parx, Oscar Holter, Nolan Lambroza, Simon Wilcox, Diane Warren, and Sebastian Kole.

Demi Lovato has unleashed her promotional single online.

“Sorry Not Sorry” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Lovato alongside Sean Douglas (Charlie Puth, Enrique Iglesias), Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Alicia Keys), Trevor Brown (ZZ Ward, Betty Who) and Zaire Koalo (Kehlani, Bea Miller).

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2015’s “Confident” is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Hollywood Records and Island Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts additional alliances with producers and songwriters including Neff-U, Priscilla Renea, Happy Perez, Miguel, Laleh Pourkarim, Emile Haynie, Tayla Parx, Oscar Holter, Nolan Lambroza, Simon Wilcox, Diane Warren, and Sebastian Kole.

Vance Joy announces new single “Lay it On Me”

Vance Joy has announced the details for his new single.

The Australian singer/songwriter – born James Gabriel Keogh – christened “Lay it On Me” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The track was written by Vance Joy alongside American Grammy nominated multi-platinum musician Dave Bassett, whose credits also include Elle King’s “Ex’s & Oh’s,” Shinedown’s “Second Chance,” Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Daughtry’s “Torch,” and Halestorm’s “Love Bites (So Do I).”

Other songwriters expected to appear on the follow-up to 2014’s “Dream Your Life Away” are Ross Golan (Charlie Puth), Jin Jin (RAYE), Ammar Malik (Shawn Mendes), Ryn Weaver (Jojo), Danny Parker (Jessie Ware), Charli XCX (Ricky Reed), Justin Tranter (Nick Jonas) and Julia Michaels (Labrinth).

On the production front, Joy has reportedly worked with Jason Evigan (Andy Grammer), Cashmere Cat (Kacy Hill), Nolan Lambroza (Jason Derulo), Teddy Geiger (Christina Aguilera), Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), Happy Perez (Demi Lovato) and Justin Parker (Conrad Sewell).

Demi Lovato has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Sorry Not Sorry” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sixth studio collection and will release it on July 11 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Warner/Chappell Music signee Sean Douglas, who previously teamed up with Lovato on “Heart Attack,” taken from her 2013 album “Demi.” Initially recorded by Nikki Williams and Pia Toscano, “Heart Attack” peaked to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
