Dua Lipa unleashes new single “Don’t Start Now”

Dua Lipa has unleashed her new single online.

“Don’t Start Now” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Caroline Ailin (Selena Gomez, Lennon Stella), Emily Warren (Bebe Rexha, Anne-Marie) and Ian Kirkpatrick (Raye, Kelsea Ballerini).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album early next year via Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled reportedly features additional songwriting contributions from from Julia Michaels, Sarah Hudson, Tove Lo, Kennedi, Tayla Parx, Kamille, Sarah Aarons, Ilsey Juber, Jozzy, Sasha Sloan, and Lindy Robbins.

On the production front, Dua Lipa has worked with Koz, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Grades, King Henry, Ilya, Max Martin, Jason Evigan, Joel Little, Fred Ball, Danja, Supa Dups, Metro Boomin’, John Ryan, and Sly.

Dua Lipa has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Don’t Start Now” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on November 1st via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren and Ian Kirkpatrick, who previously teamed up with Dua Lipa on “New Rules.” Taken from the artist’s self-titled debut album, “New Rules” topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number six on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Usher has teamed up with Ella Mai for a new collaboration.

“I love when a plan comes together @usher and @ellamai,” Keith Thomas, Ceo of GoodLook Entertainment & A&R for RCA/Bystorm records, posted to Instagram on Friday (October 18, 2019).

Mai’s self-titled debut album under 10 Summers / Interscope Records debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Boo’d Up,” “Naked,” “Trip” and “Shot Clock.”

Her latest release “What You Did” – with fellow British recording artist Mahalia – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his upcoming ninth album, tentatively entitled “Confessions 2,” later this year via RCA Records.

Usher teams up with Black Coffee for new single “LaLaLa”

American singer/songwriter Usher has teamed up with South African DJ-producer Black Coffee for his new single “LaLaLa,” which is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artists Lucky Daye and India Shawn alongside Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Hermansen of Norwegian production duo Stargate, who previously teamed up with Usher on “His Mistakes” (co-written by Ne-Yo) and “What’s a Man To Do” (co-written by Johnta Austin).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Usher is expected to release his upcoming ninth album, tentatively entitled “Confessions 2,” later this year via RCA Records.

Jozzy is known for co-writing Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Monica’s “Just Right for Me,” Little Mix’s “Bounce Back,” usher’s “Birthday,” Dinah Jane’s “Pass Me By,” Fergie’s “M.I.L.F,” Chris Brown’s “Discover,” and Tinashe’s “Ooh La La.”

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin’s production resume boasts works with Nicki Minaj (“Chun Swae”), 21 Savage (“No Heart”), Solange (“Stay Flo”), Gucci Mane (“Droptopwop”), A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (“Get to You”) and Lana Del Rey (“God Bless America – And All The Beautiful Women In It”).

Thomas’ recent songwriting credits include Pia Mia’s “Crybaby,” Chris Brown’s “Wobble Up,” Lizzo’s “Juice,” Kim Petras’ “Personal Hell,” Big Boi’s “Doin It,” Shenseea’s “Blessed,” Ciara’s “Freak Me,” and Becky G’s “Green Light Go.”

Meanwhile, Danja’s production resume boasts works with Britney Spears (“Gimme More”), Justin Timberlake (“Say Something”), Madonna (“4 Minutes”), Nelly Furtado (“Promiscuous”), Pink (“Sober”), Katharine McPhee (“Love Story”), Mariah Carey (“Migrate”) and Cassie (“Official Girl”).

Usher has reunited with JHart for a new collaboration.

The British singer/songwriter (born James Abrahart) previously teamed up with Usher on Martin Garrix’s 2015 hit single “Don’t Look Down,” which peaked to number nine on the UK Singles Chart.

JHart’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Power”), Keith Urban (“Wasted Time”), Zara Larsson (“I Would Like”), Camila Cabello (“In the Dark”), K. Michelle (“”Make the Bed”), Chris Brown (“This Way”), Justin Bieber (“Company”), Rita Ora (“Body On Me”) and TLC (“Way Back”).
