Tinashe reveals music video for new single “No Drama”

Tinashe has revealed the music video for her new promotional single online.

The visual clip for “No Drama” – featuring Offset – was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (January 18, 2018).

Co-written by Tinashe and Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard alongside Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian songwriting/production duo Stargate; “No Drama” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” – featuring upcoming promotional singles “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love” – later this year via RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Aquarius” reportedly boasts additional alliances with Fred Ball, Eyelar, Arrow Benjamin, Gabrielle Nowee, MNEK, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Benny Cassette, Sasha Sloan, Jonas Jeberg, Noonie Bao, Sam Hook, Ester Dean, Charlie Handsome, Julia Michaels, BloodPop, Justin Tranter, Ty Dolla $ign, Hitmaka, A1, Prince Chrishan, and Nova Wav.

Tinashe unleashes new promotional single “No Drama”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“No Drama” – featuring Offset – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, whose other credits include Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Era Istrefi’s “No I Love Yous,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” Halsey’s “Now or Never,” and Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do.”

Production duties on “No Drama” were handled by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian duo Stargate, who are also responsible for Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Daya’s “New,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

Featuring French Montana, “Me So Bad” was co-written by Tyrone “Ty Dolla $ign” Griffin Jr. alongside Christopher “Prince Chrishan” Dotson, Melvin Moore, Christian “Hitmaka” Ward, Floyd “A1” Bentley, and Andre Proctor.

“Faded Love” – featuring Future – was co-written by Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko and Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius alongside Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate.

Meanwhile, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” later this year via RCA Records.

Tamar Braxton enlists Future for new single “Let Me Know”

Tamar Braxton - Let Me Know

Tamar Braxton has unveiled the artwork for her upcoming single.

The R&B artist christened “Let Me Know” – featuring Future – as the first promotional cut from her upcoming fourth studio album.

The still-untitled LP – which features productions and songwriting contributions from LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels, Makeba Riddick and Symbolyc One – is expected to be released later this year via Streamline / Epic Records.

Tamar’s last album, “Winter Loversland,” peaked at number 11 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and featured hit single “She Can Have You.”

Jennifer Lopez records new material with Chris Brown

Pop starlet Jennifer Lopez has recently teamed up with Chris Brown for her upcoming as-yet-untitled eighth studio album, which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Love” [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

Brown has previously penned songs for other artists including “Slower” by Brandy [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Disturbia” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “See No More” by Joe Jonas [Disney Music Group / Hollywood Records].

He is also putting the final touches on his upcoming sixth album, tentatively entitled “Carpe Diem” [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

In addition to lead single “Fine China,” the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune” will boast collaborations with Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark (John Legend, Tamar Braxton), Amber “Sevyn” Streeter (Estelle, Jordin Sparks), Eric Bellinger (Usher, Justin Bieber) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna, Wynter Gordon).

American recording artist Jennifer Lopez has collaborated with Future for her upcoming as-yet-untitled eighth studio album, which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Love” [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

The Atlanta-based rapper – real name Nayvadius Wilburn – is known for co-writing and producing tracks such as “Love Song” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Wake Up, No Makeup” by Ciara [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next albums by Usher [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Shakira [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and Monica [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Future, Kelly Rowland debut music video for new single ‘Neva End’

Future has debuted the music video for his new single online.

The hip hop recording artist – real name Nayvadius Wilburn – has teamed up with R&B singer/songwriter Kelly Rowland on “Love Song,” which marks the fifth promotional single from his debut album “Pluto 3D.”

The track was produced by Pierre “P-Nasty” Slaughter and Michael “Mike WiLL Made It” Williams, whose credits include “Do You Know What You Have?” by Brandy [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Pour it Up” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

In related news, Kelly Rowland will release her upcoming third album “Year of the Woman” in early 2013 via Universal Music Group / Republic Records. The new collection is preceded by lead single “Ice,” featuring Lil Wayne.

Other album contributors include Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Mariah Carey, Usher Raymond), Rock City: Timothy Thomas & Theron Thomas (Keri Hilson, Janet Jackson) and Jonas “Jay Jay” Jeberg (Nicki Minaj, Cassie Ventura).
