Jojo enlists Isabella Kearney-Nurse, Warren “Oak” Felder for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Joanna Levesque, known mononymously as Jojo, has enlisted Isabella Kearney-Nurse and Warren “Oak” Felder for a new collaboration.

Besides co-writing songs on Jessica Mauboy’s upcoming album alongside Louis Schoorl, Kearney-Nurse is responsible for co-writing The Veronicas’ “Think of Me,” Matt Gresham’s “Who Am I Now” and Mitch James’s “Can’t Help Myself.”

Meanwhile, Felder’s production resume boasts works with Demi Lovato (“Sorry Not Sorry”), Chris Brown (“Superhuman”), Kehlani (“Distraction”), Miguel (“Use Me”), Toni Braxton (“Hands Tied”), Usher (“Good Kisser”), Britney Spears (“Clumsy”) and Alessia Cara (“Scars to Your Beautiful”).

In addition to contributing to Louise’s upcoming album, “Heavy Love,” Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting alliances with Jermaine Dupri, Natt Dunn, Bryan Michael Cox, Diana Gordon, Billy Steinberg, Caroline Ailin, D’Mile, Chloe Angelides, Iain James, Steph Jones, Chris Loco, Kennedi, Digital Farm Animals, Skyler Stonestreet, Big Taste, Myah Marie, Stint, Max Wolfgang.

Jason Derulo’s “Theory of Love” leaks online

A new song by Jason Derulo has leaked online.

“Theory of Love” was written by Lindy Robbins (Nina Nesbitt, Toni Braxton), Talay Riley (Prince Royce, Nick Jonas) and Daniel “Robopop” Omelio (Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey).

It is yet to be known whether the track is slotted for inclusion on the American singer/songwriter’s upcoming fifth studio collection, which will arrive later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features alliances with Digital Farm Animals, Freddy Wexler, Matt Zara, BullySongs, Jim Lavigne, Ryan Tedder, Sermstyle, Happy Perez, Jeff Gitty, Nova Wav, and Banx & Ranx.

Derulo’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Everything is Four,” peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Want to Want Me,” “Cheyenne,” “Try Me” and “Ugly.”

Jason Derulo has teamed up with Banx & Ranx for a new collaboration.

The Canadian production duo – composed of Yannick Rastogi and Zacharie Raymond – previously worked with Ella Eyre (“Answerphone”), Dua Lipa (“Kiss & Make Up”), Olly Murs (“Kiss Me”), Karen Harding (“Come As You Are”), Kate Stewart (“Sex for Breakfast”) and Sean Paul (“Bad Love”).

Banx & Ranx have also contributed to the next projects by Craig David, Era Istrefi, Amanda Reifer, Bipolar Sunshine, Caitlyn Scarlett, Dan Caplen, Melissa Steel, JP Cooper, Liza Owen, Taio Cruz, Anne-Marie, and Crystal Fighters.

Meanwhile, Derulo is expected to release his fifth album and follow-up to 2014’s “Everything is 4” later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields further contributions from Digital Farm Animals, Freddy Wexler, Matt Zara, BullySongs, Jim Lavigne, Ryan Tedder, Sermstyle, Happy Perez, Jeff Gitty, and Nova Wav.

Rita Ora has released her new promotional single online.

“Only Want You” – featuring 6LACK – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Ali Tamposi (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson), Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes), Carl Rosen (Marshmello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Kygo, Justin Bieber) and Louis Bell (Halsey, Camila Cabello).

Ora’s latest album under Atlantic Records, “Phoenix,” features further contributions from Stargate (“Soul Survivor”), Jimmy Napes (“Velvet Room”), Digital Farm Animals (“Falling to Pieces”), Julian Bunetta (“Cashmere”), Rudimental (“Summer Love”) and John “JRY” Ryan (“First Time High”).

Zara Larsson teams with Tom Walker on new song “Now You’re Gone”

Zara Larsson has teamed up with fellow recording artist Tom Walker on a new song “Now You’re Gone,” taken from Walker’s debut studio collection, “What a Time to Be Alive,” which is now available via Sony Music/Relentless Records.

The track was co-written by Chelcee Grimes (Dua Lipa’s “Kiss and Make Up”, Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles”) and Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” Craig David’s “Brand New”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Larsson is currently working on her upcoming studio collection under TEN Music Group / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Max Martin, HitImpulse, Will IDAP, Jordan Riley, Goldgfingers, Rami Yacoub, Carassius Gold, Grades, Cass Lowe, Digital Farm Animals, and Electric.

On the songwriting front, Larsson has worked with Caroline Ailin, Max Wolfgang, Dyo, Erik Hassle, Jin Jin, Marlon Roudette, Nat Dunn, Leland, Whitney Phillips, Michael Pollack, and Delacey.

Among the artists Max Wolfgang has previously penned songs for are Kygo (“Never Let You Go”), Zayn Malik (“Back to Life”), Paloma Faith (“Loyal”), Kylie Minogue (“Your Body”), Chelcee Grimes (“Just Like That”), Jackson Penn (“Streetlights on Mars”) and Rudimental (“Lay It All On Me”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for producing Alina Baraz’s “Feels Right,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” AlunaGeorge’s “Jealous,” and Zara Larsson’s “Make That Money Girl.”

Grace Carter drafts Fabienne Holloway, Fred Cox for new single “Heal Me”

Grace Carter has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Heal Me” as her next promotional cut and will release it on January 25th via all digital streaming outlets.

Carter co-wrote “Heal Me” alongside Fabienne Holloway and Fred Cox, who have also helmed cuts for Idris Elba (“Fires”), Kara Marni (“Skydive”), Tori Kelly (“Mellow”), Rosie Lowe (“So Human”), Kiah Victoria (“Treat Me”), Janelle Monae (“Call the Lawd”) and Dakota (“Never Good Enough”).

Having signed a publishing deal with Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s Stellar Songs, Carter is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

In addition to regular collaborators The 23rd, Carter has also recorded new music with Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Martin Sjolie, Om’mas Keith, Justin Parker, Digital Farm Animals, Francis “Eg” White, and Jordan Riley.

Jason Derulo has enlisted Digital Farm Animals for a new collaboration.

The British DJ, record producer and songwriter (born Nicholas Gale) has helmed songs for Rita Ora (“Falling to Pieces”), Olly Murs (“Feel the Same”), James Arthur (“Empty Space”), Cheat Codes (“Only You”), Louis Tomlinson (“Back to You”), Noah Cyrus (“Stay Together”) and Dua Lipa (“Be the One”).

Digital Farm Animals has also worked with fellow musicians including Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Brian Lee, Maegan Cottone, Sam Romans, Ali Tamposi, Ed Drewett, Gina Kushka, Scott Harris, Emily Warren, Jordan Riley, and Sarah Blanchard.

Meanwhile, Derulo is expected to release his upcoming fifth album, tentatively entitled “2Sides,” later this year via Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Everything is Four” reportedly features additional contributions from Jim Lavigne (G-Eazy, Kevin Gates), Ryan Tedder (Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift), Sermstyle (Adele, Demi Lovato), Happy Perez (Miguel, Camila Cabello) and Jeff Gitty (Chris Brown, Lianne La Havas).
