L Devine teams up with Steve James, Digital Farm Animals for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Olivia Devine, professionally known as L Devine, has teamed up with Steve James and Digital Farm Animals for a new collaboration.

In addition to enlisting Canadian recording artist LIGHTS for his latest single “Warrior,” James has also co-written and produced songs for Little Mix (“Power”), Justin Bieber (“Purpose”), The Vamps (“Middle of the Night”), Conrad Sewell (“Remind Me”) and Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”).

Meanwhile, Digital Farm Animals’ resume boasts works with Louis Tomlinson (“Back to You”), Noah Cyrus (“Stay Together”), Grace Carter (“Thousand Nights”), Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Louisa Johnson (“Roads to Rome”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Digital Love”), Marlon Roudette (“Red Eye”), Anne-Marie (“Manikin”) and JONES (“Wild”).

L Devine’s upcoming debut project, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

Her current promotional single ““School Girls” – which was co-written and produced by Mickey Valen – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Rita Ora connects with Avicii for new single “Lonely Together”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has connected with Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer Avicii (born Tim Bergling) for his new promotional single “Lonely Together,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Featuring co-production duties by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat; “Lonely Together” was co-written by Ali Tamposi (Lea Michele, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony) and Andrew Watt (Charlie Puth, Justin Bieber).

Preceded by the Steve Mac-produced / Ed Sheeran-penned “Your Song;” Ora’s upcoming sophomore album is scheduled arrive in 2018 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Stargate, Jonny Coffer, Digital Farm Animals, Jimmy Napes, Leon Thomas, Jake Gosling, Mike Dean, Jason Evigan, Emile Haynie, and RITUAL.

On the songwriting front, Ora has worked with Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Sam Romans, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Max McElligott, Diana Gordon, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Chelcee Grimes, Justin Tranter, Georgia Ku, and Ammar Malik.

Louisa Johnson hits the studio with Chris Loco, Goldfingers

British singer/songwriter Louisa Johnson has enlisted the production services of Chris Loco and Goldfingers for her upcoming debut album.

Loco (born Christopher Crowhurst) is known for his works with Emeli Sande (“Easier in Bed”), Kevin Garrett (“Little Bit of You”), Justine Skye (“U Don’t Know”), Etta Bond (“Kiss My Girlfriend”), Raleigh Ritchie (“Stronger Than Ever”) and Sinead Harnett (“Rather Be with You”).

Meanwhile, Goldfingers (composed of Frank Nobel and Linus Nordstrom) have contributed to the next projects by John Newman, Kamille, Fleur East, Antigoni Buxton, Taya, Sabina Ddumba, Charlotte OC, Liza Owen, and Mali-Koa.

Johnson, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut album – featuring singles “So Good” and “Best Behaviour” – later this year via Syco Music.

Ina Wroldsen reunites with Steve Mac for new collaboration

Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen has reunited with British record producer Steve Mac for a new collaboration.

The pair previously teamed up on tracks performed by Anne-Marie (“Alarm”), Sofia Carson (“Love is the Name”), Alexandra Burke (“Before the Rain”), Shakira (“Empire”), Little Mix (“We Are Who We Are”), Jasmine Thompson (“Adore”), Demi Lovato (“Lionheart”) and Zara Larsson (“Symphony”).

Mac’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters including Johnny McDaid, Chelcee Grimes, Ed Drewett, Priscilla Renea, Wayne Hector, Julia Michaels, Ammar Malik, Camille Purcell, Ross Golan, Karen Poole, Claude Kelly, Emeli Sande, Ilsey Juber, James Newman, and Lindy Robbins.

Meanwhile, Wroldsen is expected to release her first studio collection later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Fifth Harmony unveil artwork for self-titled third album

Fifth Harmony have unveiled the artwork for their upcoming third album.

Composed of Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui; the American pop quartet will release the self-titled collection on August 25 via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music and Epic Records.

Current promotional single “Down” – which was written by Claire “Jude” Demorest alongside Joshua “Ammo” Coleman and Dallas Koehlke – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “7/27” reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Dayo Olatunji (Jason Derulo), Verse Simmonds (Kelly Rowland), Candy Shields (Galantis), Marlin Bonds (Zendaya), Tayla Parx (Majid Jordan), Sebastian Kole (Brandy), Koko LaRoo (Jake Miller), Akil King (Beyonce) and Carmen Reece (Craig David).

On the production front, Fifth Harmony have worked with Digital Farm Animals (Marlon Roudette), Jason Evigan (Rachel Platten), Gian Stone (Nick Jonas), Shama Joseph (Rihanna), Fredro (Alessia Cara), Vincent Berry (Mary J. Blige), Happy Perez (Miguel) and The Monsters & Strangerz (Bebe Rexha).

Anne-Marie connects with Snakehips for new single “Either Way”

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie Nicholson, mononymously known as Anne-Marie, has connected with Oliver Lee and James Cartner of electronic music production duo Snakehips for their new single “Either Way,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Julia Michaels, whose recent credits include Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” Shakira’s “When a Woman,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” and Skyler Stecker’s “How Did We.”

Production duties on “Either Way,” which also features rapper Joey Badass, were collectively handled by Snakehips alongside Warren “Oak” Felder and Cass Lowe, who is also responsible for Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Gryffin’s “Love in Ruins,” Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up,” and Astrid S’s “About a Boy.”

Fans of Anne-Marie, on the other hand, should keep an eye on her upcoming debut album, which is expected to hit stores and online outlets later this year via Major Tom’s Music / Asylum Records.
