Nick Jonas reunites with Jason Evigan for fourth album

Nick Jonas has reunited with Jason Evigan for his upcoming fourth album.

The American songwriter, music producer and multi-instrumentalist previously helmed “Chains” and “Teacher,” taken from 2014’s “Nick Jonas,” as well as “Voodoo,” “Champagne Problems,” “Good Girls,” “Comfortable” and “The Difference,” taken from 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated.”

Fans of Evigan’s work should also keep an eye on the next projects by Boy Epic, Ella Eyre, Andy Grammer, Chromeo, David Guetta, Ella Henderson, Charlie Puth, RYDER, Jessie Reyez, Fifth Harmony, Kiiara, Julia Michaels, Louis Tomlinson, Rachel Platten, Delta Goodrem, and MØ.

Meanwhile, Jonas is expected to release his next studio collection – featuring additional contributions from Cass Lowe, Skylar Grey, and Gian Stone – later this year via Safehouse Records and Island Records.

Nick Jonas has drafted Cass Lowe for his upcoming fourth album.

The British singer, songwriter, and record producer is known for his collaborations with Fifth Harmony (“Scared of Happy”), Sinead Harnett (“Anywhere But Here”), Cheryl (“Coming Up for Air”), Shola Ama (“Boyfriend”), AlunaGeorge (“I Remember”) and Snakehips (“Don’t Leave”).

Fans of Lowe’s work should also keep an eye on the next projects by Sam Smith, Lily Allen, Dagny, Alex Aiono, Ella Henderson, Anne-Marie, Clean Bandit, Astrid S, Diztortion, Stanaj, Charlie XCX, Kenzie May, Leona Lewis, Paloma Faith, Zak Abel, James Blunt, MØ, and David Guetta.

Meanwhile, Jonas is expected to release his next studio collection later this year via Safehouse Records and Island Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Champagne Problems,” “Under You,” “Close,” “Bacon” and “Chainsaw.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jonas has recorded a new song entitled “Bom Bidi Bom” for the original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker.” The Nicki Mina-featuring track was co-written and produced by Breyan Isaac (Flo Rida, Charlie Puth) and Jason Evigan (Kehlani, Louis Tomlinson).

Nick Jonas has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the Black Coffee-directed clip for “Voodoo” to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (October 19, 2016).

“Voodoo” was co-written by Dewain Whitmore Jr., whose other credits include Jordan Fisher’s “Lookin’ Like That” [Hollywood], Tamar Braxton’s “Coming Home” [Epic] and Kelly Clarkson’s “Mr. Know it All” [RCA].

Production duties on “Voodoo” were handled by Jason Evigan, who also contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson, Chromeo, Ella Eyre, Kiiara, Louisa Johnson, Andy Grammar, David Guetta, and Enrique Iglesias.

Jonas’s latest album “Last Year Was Complicated” – featuring previous singles “Bacon,” “Close” and “Under You” – is now is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Island Records and Safehouse Records.

Chord Overstreet premieres “Homeland” music video

Chord Overstreet has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The singer, songwriter, and actor posted the visual clip for “Homeland” to his Vevo channel on Friday (October 07, 2016).

“Homeland” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was co-written and produced by Steve Mostyn (Ella Henderson, Alicia Keys) and Alex Niceforo (Britney Spears, Prince Royce).

The track also marks the first promotional cut from Overstreet’s upcoming debut EP under Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and Phil McIntyre’s Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records.

The singer-songwriter-actor posted the visual clip for “Under You” to his Vevo channel on Monday (June 13, 2016).

“Under You” was co-written by Bebe Rexha (Tinashe, Selena Gomez), Savan Kotecha (Enrique Iglesias, Fifth Harmony) and Rickard Goransson (Ellie Goulding, Demi Lovato).

Production duties were collectively handled by Max Martin (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), Johan “Shellback” Schuster (Adele, Justin Timberlake) and Ali Payami (Ariana Grande, The Weeknd).

Jonas’ latest studio collection “Last Year Was Complicated” – featuring “Chainsaw,” “Bacon” and “Close” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Safehouse Records and Island Records.

The singer-songwriter-actor posted the visual clip for “Bacon” to his Vevo channel on Friday (June 10, 2016).

“Bacon” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign – was written by Jonas along with Priscilla Renea (Rihanna, Mariah Carey) and the song’s producer Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo).

The singer-songwriter-actor posted the visual clip for “Chainsaw” to his YouTube channel on Friday (May 13, 2016).

“Chainsaw” was co-written by Simon Wilcox (Britney Spears, Fifth Harmony), Julia Michaels (Zara Larsson, Demi Lovato), Sean Douglas (Jason Derulo, Thomas Rhett) and Nolan Lambroza (Rita Ora, Kate Nash).

Video treatment was handled by Luke Monaghan, who previously directed Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall” [Capitol Records], Disclosure’s “White Noise” [Island Records] and Jimmy Napes’ “Give it Up” [Method Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jonas will release his next studio collection “Last Year Was Complicated” – featuring the Tove Lo-assisted lead single “Close” – on June 10 via Safehouse Records and Island Records.

The highly anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Nick Jonas,” which peaked to number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Jealous” and “Chains.”
