Nicki Minaj confirms details for new single “Megatron”

Nicki Minaj has confirmed the details for her new single.

The Trinidadian-born American rapper and singer (real name Onika Tanya Maraj) christened “Megatron” as her next promotional cut and will release it on June 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Denisha “Blu June” Andrews and Brittany “Chi” Coney of Nova Wav, who are also responsible Chloe x Halle’s “Be Yourself,” Monica’s “Commitment,” Tinashe’s “Ooh La La,” Mary J. Blige’s “Thriving,” Saweete’s “Emotional,” and Teyana Taylor’s “Gonna Love Me.”

Production duties on “Megatron” were handled by Andrew “Pop” Wansel, who previously teamed up with Minaj on singles “Your Love” and “Right By My Side” (featuring Chris Brown), taken from the albums “Pink Friday” (2010) and “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” (2012), respectively.

Minaj’s most recent studio collection, 2018’s “Queen,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Chun-Li,” “Bed” (featuring Ariana Grande), “Barbie Dreams” and “Good Form.”

David Guetta reveals details for seventh album

David Guetta has revealed the details for his upcoming album.

The French DJ, record producer and songwriter christened his seventh studio collection “7” and will release it on September 14th via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records (US) / Parlophone Records (UK).

The follow-up to to 2014’s “Listen” boasts guest appearances from Anne-Marie, Fouzia, Sia, Madison Beer, Bebe Rexha, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, Stefflon Don, Ava Max, and Jess Glynne.

On the songwriting and production front, Guetta has teamed up with Stargate, Priscilla Renea, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Kamille, Christopher Braide, Hillary Lindsey, Cirkut, Noonie Bao, Mike Eyal Aljadeff, and Sarah Aarons.

Nicki Minaj has unleashed her fourth studio collection.

“Queen” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “The Pinkprint” boasts guest appearances from Foxy Brown (“Coco Chanel”), The Weeknd (“Thought I Knew You”), Ariana Grande (“Bed”), Future (“Sir”), Swae Lee (“Chun Swae”), Lil Wayne (“Rich Sex”) and Eminem & Labrinth (“Majesty”).

On the songwriting and production front, Minaj has worked with Cirkut, Starrah, J. Reid, Boi-1da, Supa Dups, Ben Billions, LunchMoney Lewis, Murda Beatz, Sevn Thomas, Metro Boomin, Rasool Diaz, Mike WiLL Made It, JMike, Kane Beatz, Frank Dukes, Christopher Braide, and Mel & Mus.

Ariana Grande has released her new promotional single online.

“The Light is Coming” – featuring regular collaborator Nicki Minaj – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written and produced by Pharrell Williams, whose recent credits include The Carters’ “Apeshit,” Justin Timberlake’s “Supplies,” Migos’ “Stir Fry,” and Camila Cabello’s “Sangria Wine.”

Grande’s fourth album “Sweetner” – featuring previous single “No Tears Left to Cry” – is scheduled to arrive on August 17 via Republic Records.

Nicki Minaj has reunited with Ariana Grande for her new single “Bed,” which is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis and collectively produced by Ben Billions, Supa Dups, Beats Bailey, and Messy.

Minaj’s fourth album “Queen” – featuring previous singles “Rich Sex,” “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” – is scheduled to arrive on August 10 via Young Money / Cash Money Records in partnership with Republic Records.

The highly-anticipated project follows 2014’s “The Pinkprint,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Album Chart and spawned singles “Pills n Potions,” “Anaconda,” “Only,” “Truffle Butter,” and “The Night is Still Young.”

Katy Perry joins forces with Nicki Minaj for new single “Swish Swish”

American singer/songwriter Katheryn Hudson, professionally known as Katy Perry, has released her new promotional single online.

“Swish Swish” – which was produced by Duke Dumont alongside Noah “Mailbox” Passovoy and PJ “PromNite” Sledge – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Nicki Minaj-featuring track was also co-written by Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Charli XCX) and Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard (Rihanna, Halsey).

In case you didn’t know, “Swish Swish” marks the second collaboration between Minaj and Perry, as the latter co-wrote “Get on Your Knees,” taken from Minaj’s 2014 album “The Pinkprint,” alongside Sarah Hudson, Chloe Angelides, Jacob “JKash” Kasher, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, and Henry “CIRKUT” Walter.

Perry’s upcoming fifth studio collection “Witness,” on the other hand, will arrive on June 9th via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Prism” – featuring singles “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit” – delivers further contributions from Max Martin (Tori Kelly), Sia Furler (Camila Cabello), Ali Payami (Ellie Goulding), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Ricky Martin), Shellback (Taylor Swift) and Oscar Holter (Demi Lovato).

“Regret in Your Tears” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Minaj alongside Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Ella Mai’s “Lay Up,” Cashmere Cat’s “Trust Nobody,” and The Weeknd’s “True Colors.”

Production duties on “Regret in Your Tears” were collectively handled by Boi-1da (Tinashe, Kendrick Lamar), Allen Ritter (Drake, Travis Scott) and Frank Dukes (Lorde, Kanye West).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Minaj will release her fourth studio album – featuring “No Frauds” and “Changed It” – later this year via Young Money / Cash Money Records in partnership with Republic Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2014’s “The Pinkprint,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Pills ‘N Potions,” “Anaconda,” “Only,” and “Feeling Myself.”
