Taya drafts Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Alan Sampson for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Taylor Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, has drafted Eyelar Mirzazadeh and Alan Sampson for a new collaboration.

Eyelar, who previously teamed up with Taya on the Toddla T-produced “Got Me Wondering” and Jonny Coffer-assisted “Here with Me,” is known for co-penning Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Diztortion’s “I’ll Be There,” Yellow Claw’s “Drowning in Champagne,” and Little Mix’s “Is Your Love Enough?”

Sampson, who also collaborated with Taya on the Anita Blay-penned “Skin,” is responsible for co-writing and / or co-producing Jay Sean’s “Ride It,” Alesha Dixon’s “Every Little Part of Me,” Zayn Malik’s “She,” Rita Ora’s “Kiss Me,” and Craig David’s “Louder Than Words.”

Meanwhile, Taya’s current promotional single “When Ur Sober” – which was written by Emma Davidson-Dillon alongside Wayne Hector and Arnthor Birgisson – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her self-titled mini-album features additional alliances with Diztortion (Rihanna), Mark Ralph (Era Istrefi), Nicola Roberts (Tinashe), Felix Snow (Selena Gomez), Al Shux (Plan B), Karen Poole (Lily Allen), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett), Jonas Jeberg (Ella Eyre) and Anjulie Persaud (Cassie).

Antigoni Buxton teases new collaboration with Nicola Roberts

Antigoni Buxton has teased a new collaboration with Nicola Roberts.

“Sick day at the studio yesterday with the lovely @lilcola & Henry Binns,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (July 18, 2017).

Roberts’ songwriting resume boasts works with Girls Aloud (“On the Metro”), Cheryl (“Goodbye Means Hello”), Little Mix (“Going Nowhere”), Tiffany (“Talk”), Joel Compass (“Girlfriends”), Taya (“Redlight”), Nina Nesbitt (“Take You to Heaven”) and Tinashe (“Ghetto Boy”).

The former Girls Aloud member has also worked with top producers including Richard “Biff” Stannard, Electric, Devonte Hynes, GRADES, Lucas Secon, MNEK, Fred Ball, Knightstarr, Scott Hoffman, Diztortion, James Draper, Moon Willis, Adriano Buffone, and Dimitri Tikovoi.

Meanwhile, Buxton’s upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions from Karen Poole (Lily Allen), Diane Warren (Ciara), Fiona Bevan (Una Healy), Negin Djafari (Mabel McVey), Chelcee Grimes (Tamera Foster), Anita Blay (Becky Hill) and Chiara Hunter (David Guetta).

Nina Nesbitt liberates new single “The Moments I’m Missing”

Scottish singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt has liberated her new single online.

“The Moments I’m Missing” – featuring guest vocals from LA R&B singer Goody Grace – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Fully written and produced by Nesbitt, the track delivers additional production duties from Jordan Riley, whose recent credits include Tom Grennan’s “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” [Sony Music / Insanity Records] and Dan Caplen’s “Flat Champagne” f/ Ray BLK [Warner Music / Atlantic Records UK].

Nesbitt’s upcoming studio collection, which follows 2014’s “Peroxide,” is expected to arrive later this year via Cooking Vinyl Records.

Featuring tracks entitled “The Best You Had” and “Something Special,” the still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further productions from LOSTBOY (Marlon Roudette), Adriano Buffone (Janelle Monae), Chris Leonard (Shawn Mendes), Dan Muckala (LeAnn Rimes) and Red Triangle (James Arthur).

The American music executive, television producer, music publisher and songwriter is responsible for co-penning Beyonce’s “Halo,” Rihanna’s “SOS,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Britney Spears’ “Love Me Down,” Jason Derulo’s “It Girl,” Keyshia Cole’s “This is Us,” Livvi Franc’s “Autoamtik,” Brandy’s “Right Here (Departed),” and Leona Lewis’ “Happy.”

Bogart’s extensive resume boasts further works with top producers Fraser T. Melissa Steel writes new music with Shola Ama

Melissa Steel has written new music with fellow artist Shola Ama.

The “Imagine” star recently provided guest vocals on JKAY’s single “Danger,” co-written by Aminata “A*M*E” Kabba, Caroline Ailin, Marvin Humes, and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike.

As a songwriter, Ama co-wrote Taya’s “Got Me Wondering” alongside Eyelar Mirzazadeh and the song’s producer Tommy “Toddla T” Bell.

Ama also co-wrote “Good Friends” for UK girl group M.O alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Gareth “Bless Beats” Keane.

Meanwhile, Steel is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring promotional singles “Kisses for Breakfast” and “You Love Me” – later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features productions from Diztortion (Ms. Dyanmite), Tre Jean Marie (KAYTRANADA), Michael Angelo (Stanaj), Di Genius (Drake), Jonny Lattimer (Anne-Marie), Knox Brown (Dua Lipa), Moon Willis (Justine Skye), Phil Cook (Birdy) and Laconic (Cover Drive).

Taya has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Taylor Fowlis – posted the visual clip for “Deeper” to her YouTube channel on Tuesday (January 17, 2016).

“Deeper” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Tom Havelock alongside the song’s producers Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh, Felix Snow, and Raoul “Diztortion” Chen.

Meanwhile, Taya is expected to release her debut project – featuring previous singles “Fingerprints,” “Sweet Waste of Time” and “Got Me Wondering” – later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers productions from Starsmith, Laconic (Ash Milton & Daniel Goudie), Digital Farm Animals, Electric (Henrik Michelsen & Edvard Erfjord), Parker Ighile, Tre Jean-Marie, and Chris Loco.
