Nico & Vinz draft Meleni Smith, Salaam Remi for new album

Nico & Vinz have added Polly A. and Salaam Remi for their upcoming album.

“Day 2 of music and vibes with @salaamremi and @akapollya,” the Norwegian duo posted to their Instagram account on Saturday (January 23, 2016).

Polly A. – real name Meleni Smith – is known for co-writing Jordin Sparks’ “Left… Right” [Louder Than Life], Selena Gomez’s “Bang Bang Bang” [Hollywood], Alicia Keys’ “Love is My Disease” [RCA], and Kat Dahlia’s “Clocks” [Epic].

Meanwhile, Remi’s extensive production resume includes works with Mack Wilds (“Love in the 90z”), Miguel (“Face the Sun”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), and Leona Lewis (“Forgiveness”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Nico & Vinz are expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” later this year through Warner Bros Records.

Current single “That’s How You Know” – featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha – was co-written by Julia Michaels (Gwen Stefani, Pia Mia) and produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (Kehlani, Alessia Cara).

Other musicians backing Nico & Vinz on the new LP are Soulshock & Karlin (Usher), Pharrell (Ciara), Kerry Brothers, Jr. (Goapele), Toby Gad (Cassie), RedOne (Brandy), Charlie Puth (Fergie), and Naughty Boy (Beyonce).

Nico & Vinz unveil “Hold It Together” music video

Nico & Vinz have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The Christian Bastiansen-directed clip for “Hold It Together” has been posted to the Norwegian duo’s YouTube channel on Sunday (January 10, 2016).

“Hold it Together” is slotted for inclusion on Nico & Vinz’s upcoming studio collection under Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project serves as follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant,” which peaked to number forty five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered international hit single “Am I Wrong.”

For the new album, Nico & Vinz have collaborated with Soulshock & Karlin (Chris Brown), Naughty Boy (Beyonce), RedOne (Lady Gaga), Toby Gad (Alicia Keys), Pharrell Williams (Usher), and Charlie Puth (Trey Songz).

Their current mini-collection “Cornerstone” – featuring lead single “That’s How You Know” – is now available for download via iTunes.

Nico & Vinz have worked with Toby Gad for their upcoming album.

The German hitmaker is responsible for John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia], Alicia Keys’ “Love is My Disease” [RCA], Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” [Interscope] and Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” [Hollywood].

His extensive resume includes further works with Leona Lewis (“I Am”), Madonna (“Living for Love”), Selena Gomez (“A Year Without Rain”), Tori Kelly (“First Heartbreak”) and Carly Rae Jepsen (“Your Heart is a Muscle”).

Meanwhile, Nico & Vinz are expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” later this year through Warner Bros Records.

Current single “That’s How You Know” – featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha – was co-written by Julia Michaels (Madison Beer, Hailee Steinfeld) and produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj).

Nico & Vinz have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The Norwegian duo – consisting of Nicolay “Nico” Sereba and Vincent “Vinz” Dery – posted the visual clip for “That’s How You Know” to their YouTube channel on Tuesday (September 01, 2015).

“That’s How You Know” – featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha – was co-written by Julia Michaels, whose resume includes additional works with Rita Ora (“Poison”), Selena Gomez (“Good for You”) and Hailee Steinfeld (“Love Myself”).

Production duties were handled by Warren “Oak” Felder, who is also responsible for Alessia Cara’s “Here” [Def Jam], Ariana Grande’s “Break Your Heart Right Back” [Republic] and Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible” [RCA].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Nico & Vinz are slated to release their next studio collection later this year through Warner Bros Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Soulshock & Karlin, Pharrell Williams, Stacy Barthe, Naughty Boy, Micah Powell, RedOne, and Charlie Puth.

Nico & Vinz have collaborated with Naughty Boy for their upcoming album.

“Can’t pass through London without working with Naughty Boy,” the Norwegian duo – composed of Vincent Dery and Nicolay Sereba – posted to their Instagram account on Friday (August 22, 2015).

Naughty Boy is known for helming songs performed by artists including Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Alesha Dixon (“Radio”), Cheryl (“Craziest Things”), Tinie Tempah (“Lost Ones”) and Jess Glynne (“Saddest Vanilla”).

Furthermore, he confirmed production and songwriting placements on the next projects by Emeli Sande [Capitol], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Tanika [Virgin EMI] and Ava Lily [Naughty Records].

Meanwhile, Nico & Vinz are expected to release their next studio collection later this year through Warner Music Group imprint Warner Bros Records.

Nico & Vinz have worked with Soulshock & Karlin for their upcoming album.

The Danish hitmakers have helmed a large number of successful songs, including Whitney Houston’s “Heartbreak Hotel” [Arista], Jojo’s “Leave (Get Out)” [Blackground] and Toni Braxton’s “I Love Me Some Him” [LaFace].

Their extensive songwriting and production resume includes further works with Monica (“Before You Walk Out of My Life”), Keyshia Cole (“Fallin’ Out”), Craig David (“Rise & Fall”) and Kelly Rowland (“Still in Love With My Ex”).

Meanwhile, Nico & Vinz are expected to release their next studio collection later this year through Warner Music Group imprint Warner Bros Records.

The still-untitled project is preceded by lead single “That’s How You Know,” which features vocals from rapper Kid Ink and label mate Bebe Rexha.

The Norwegian duo posted the audio clip for “That’s How You Know” – featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha – to their YouTube channel on Friday (July 10, 2015).

“That’s How You Know” was co-written by Julia Michaels, whose recent credits include Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope Records], Kelly Clarkson’s “War Paint” [RCA Records] and Rita Ora’s “Poison” [Columbia Records].

Production duties were handled by Warren Felder, who is also responsible for Usher’s “Good Kisser” [RCA Records], Jason Derulo’s “Trade Hearts” [Warner Bros Records] and Tamia’s “Sandwich and a Soda” [Def Jam Recordings].

Nico and Vinz’s next album and follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” is expected to be released later this year through Warner Bros Records.

The still-untitled project features further contributions from Pharrell Williams (Ciara, Alicia Keys), Stacy Barthe (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Charlie Puth (Meghan Trainor, CeeLo Green) and The Stereotypes (Miguel, John Legend).
