Teyana Taylor delivers third studio collection “The Album”

American singer, songwriter, and actress Teyana Taylor has released her third studio collection online.

“The Album” – featuring singles “How You Want It?,” “Morning,” “We Got Love,” “Made It,” “Bare with Me” and “Wake Up Love” –  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2018’s “K.T.S.E.” boasts songwriting contributions from APLUS (aka Anesha and Antea Birchett), Eric Bellinger, Nija Charles, Bibi Bourelly, and Nova Wav (aka Denisia Andrews and Brittany Coney).

Album producers include Ayo & Keyz, DJ Camper, Cardiak, Swiff D, Murda Beatz, Louis Gold, Tune Da Rula, Scribz Riley, BongoByTheWay, Wallis Lane, Sean Momberger, Bizness Boi, Timbaland, Hitmaka, Seven Aurelius, Johan Lennox, Boogz Da Beast, Mike Dean, and Kanye West.

Teyana Taylor unwraps artwork, tracklisting for new album

Teyana Taylor has unwrapped the artwork and tracklisting for her new album.

The American singer/songwriter will release her third studio collection, “The Album,” on 19 June 2020 via Def Jam Recordings.

Current single “Wake Up Love” – which was collectively produced by Carl “Cardiak” Cormick and Steve “Swiff D” Thornton II – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2018’s “K.T.S.E.” features additional productions and songwriting contributions from Kanye West, Boogz Da Beast, Nija Charles, Johan Lennox, Bizness Boi, Nova Wav, Mike Dean, Seven Aurelius, Tune Da Rula, Louis Gold, Hitmaka, and Ayo & Keyz.

Lauren Jauregui releases new single “Invisible Chains”

Lauren Jauregui has released her new single online.

“Invisible Chains” – which was written by Jauregui alongside Ingrid Andress, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, David Pramik, Jon Bellion, and Ojivolta (aka Mark Williams and Raul Cubina) – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

The track also appears on the original motion picture soundtrack, “Birds of Prey,” which includes additional guest appearances from Megan Thee Stallion & Normani (“Diamonds”), Halsey (“Experiment on Me”), Doja Cat (“Boss Bitch”), Charlotte Lawrence (“Joke’s on You”) and Saweetie (“Sway With Me”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jauregui is scheduled to released her debut solo studio album – featuring singles “More Than That” and “Expectations” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from The Rascals, Supa Dups, Nija Charles, Oak Felder, D’Mile, Jenna Andrews, Ed Drewett, Fred Ball, Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji, Tre Jean-Marie, Ollie Green, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Rob Knox, Danny Boy Styles, and Mayila Jones.

Kehlani teases new collaboration with Oak Felder, Pop Wansel

Kehlani has teased a new collaboration with Oak Felder and Pop Wansel.

“Second album coming and all i’m saying is rnb man… rnb. i said no snippets but fuck it this shit rockin @oakestra @popwansel,” the American singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (August 27, 2018).

Felder and Wansel previously teamed up with Kehlani on “Distraction,” “Not Used to It,” “Everything is Yours,” “Advice,” “Escape,” “In My Feelings,” “Hold Me By The Heart” and “Thank You,” taken from her debut album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records, 2017’s “SweetSexySavage.”

For her sophomore studio collection, Kehlani has also worked with Jermaine Dupri (Mariah Carey, Trey Songz), Bryan Michael Cox (Aaliyah, Toni Braxton), Nija Charles (Beyonce, Lauren Jauregui), Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Usher, Janet Jackson) and The Rascals (Ariana Grande, Justine Skye).

Kehlani also provided vocals on “Change,” taken from Arin Ray’s upcoming project under Interscope Records. The track – which was produced by Ray alongside Camden Bench and The Rascals – is now available via Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Beyonce has released her new project online.

“The Lion King: The Gift” – which was inspired by Disney’s new version of the classic film – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Curated and produced by Beyonce, the highly-anticipated collection features guest appearances from Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Jessie Reyez, and Blue Ivy Carter.

Among the musicians who contributed to the album are Labrinth, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Raye, Ari PenSmith, P2J, Stacy Barthe, Diplo, Sounwave, Akil King, Starrah, Biopolar Sunshine, Kaydence, Nija Charles, and Nova Wav.

Lauren Jauregui drafts Ollie Green for new collaboration

Lauren Jauregui has enlisted Ollie Green for a new collaboration.

The British record producer and songwriter previously worked with artists including Jones (“Indulge”), Gavin James (“Always”), Freya Ridings (“Lost Without You”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Hamzaa (“London”), Jamie Lawson (“The Answer”) and Frances (“Love Me Again”).

Meanwhile, Jauregui’s upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Expectations” (produced by Kid Harpoon) and “More Than That” (co-written by Prince Charlez and Hue Strother and collectively produced by Charlie Handsome and Murda Beatz) – is expected to arrive later this year via Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields additional alliances with Alexandra “Shungudzo” Govere, D’Mile, Ed Drewett, Fred Ball, Nija Charles, Kurtis “K9” McKenzie, Tre Jean-Marie, Dayo Olatunji, Oak Felder, Rob Knox, Tushar Apte, Mayila Jones, DannyBoyStyles, Rami Yacoub, and The Rascals.

Production duties on “More Than That” were collectively handled by Shane “Murda Beatz” Lindstrom (Bebe Rexha, Cardi B) and Ryan “Charlie Handsome” Vojtesak (Khalid, Normani Kordei).

“Expectations” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was produced by Kid Harpoon, who is also responsible for Jessie Ware’s “Wildest Moments,” Shakira’s “Can’t Remember to Forget You,” Harry Styles’ “Sweet Creature,” and Florence + the Machine’s “What Kind of Man.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jauregui is currently working on her upcoming project under Syco Music / Columbia Records.

Little Mix reveal details for new album “LM5”

Little Mix have revealed the details for their upcoming album.

The British quartet – composed of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards – have dubbed their fifth studio collection “LM5” and will release it on November 16 via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

Lead promotional single “Woman Like Me” – which was written by Jess Glynne alongside Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Glory Days,” Little Mix have also worked with producers Electric, Chris Loco, Goldfingers, Martin Sjolie, Youthonix, Jez Ashurst, Rice N’ Peas, Fred Ball, TMS, Captain Cuts, Tre Jean-Marie, MNEK, Red Triangle, Freedo, Yei Gonzalez, and Banx & Ranx.

Among the songwriters expected to appear on “LM5” are Kamille, Jenna Andrews, Plested, Shungudzo, Casey Smith, JHart, Sarah Hudson, Nija Charles, Boy Matthews, James Newman, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Jessica Agombar, Patrick Patrikious, Sinead Harnett, Rachel Furner, Justin Tranter, Michael Pollack, Johan Franson, Shakka, Iain James, and Chelcee Grimes.

H.E.R. hits the studio with Nija Charles, Andre Harris, Ali P

American singer/songwriter Gabi Wilson, professionally known as H.E.R., has recorded new music with Nija Charles, Andre Harris, and Ali P.

While Ali P is responsible for co-writing and co-producing “Shining Star” on Bebe Rexha’s debut album “Expectations,” Nija Charles songwriting works include The Carters’ “LoveHappy,” Jason Derulo’s “Colors,” Cardi B’s “Ring,” Lyrica Anderson’s “Don’t Take It Personal” and Chris Brown’s “Pull Up.”

Andre Harris’ songwriting and production credits, on the other hand, include Michael Jackson’s “Butterflies,” Estelle’s “Lights Out,” Usher’s “Caught Up,” LeToya Luckett’s “Grey,” Yuna’s “Fading Flower,” Robin Thicke’s “2 Luv Birds,” and Melanie Fiona’s “Bite the Bullet.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, H.E.R. is currently working on her next project under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The artist’s latest collection, “I Used to Know Her: The Prelude,” is now available via iTunes and all digital streaming outlets.
