Jojo unveils artwork for new album “Mad Love”

Jojo has unveiled the artwork for her upcoming third album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Joanna Levesque – will release “Mad Love” on October 14 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Fuck Apologies” – featuring Wiz Khalifa – was co-written by Taylor Parks and Whiskey Water with production duties from Oscar Holter and Matt Friedman.

Other musicians backing Jojo on “Mad Love” are Justin Tranter (Britney Spears, Justin Bieber), Hayley Warner (Tori Kelly, John Legend), Nikki Flores (Jordin Sparks, Christina Aguilera), and MNEK (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue).

Jojo’s previous studio collection, 2006’s “The High Road,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned the Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander-produced single “Too Little, Too Late.”

Jojo premieres “Save My Soul” music video

Jojo has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the Zelda Williams-directed clip for “Save My Soul” to her YouTube channel on Friday (January 08, 2016).

“Save My Soul” was co-written by Nikki Flores, whose other credits include Christina Aguilera’s “Empty Words” [RCA], Jordin Sparks’ “Silhouette” [Louder Than Life], and Jessica Mauboy’s “Kick Up Your Heels” [Sony Music].

Production duties were handled by The Family, consisting of members Anton Hård af Segerstad, Joy Deb and Linnea Deb.

Jojo’s mini-collection “III (pronounced Tringle)” – featuring previous singles “When Love Hurts” and “Say Love” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

The EP boasts further contributions from Jason Evigan (Vance Joy), Benny Blanco (Justin Bieber), Harmony Samuels (K. Michelle), Wayne Hector (Birdy), Ammar Malik (Shawn Mendes), and Robopop (Charli XCX).

Nikki Flores covers ‘The Way’ by Ariana Grande featuring Mac Miller

Nikki Flores has posted a new performance video online.

The singer/songwriter has a posted a new cover of “The Way” by Ariana Grande to her official YouTube page.

Flores is known for co-writing tracks such as “Still in Love” by Girlicious featuring Sean Kingston [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records] and “Empty Words” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

She has also collaborated with artists including Elijah Blake [Island Def Jam Recordings], Rita Ora [Roc Nation / Columbia Records], Keyshia Cole [Geffen Records], Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and Cheryl Cole [Polydor Records].

“The Way” was written by Jordin Sparks along with Amber “Sevyn” Streeter (Chris Brown, Trey Songz), Al Sherrod Lambert (Fantasia Barrino, Kelly Rowland) and Harmony “H-Money” Samuels (Brandy, Michelle Williams).

The Mac Miller-assisted track marks the first promotional single from Ariana Grande’s upcoming debut album, “Daydreamin,” scheduled for release in late August via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Nikki Flores was signed to Sony Music Entertainment for three years. During that time, she recorded lots of material for her debut album “That Girl.”

The Jonathan Rotem-produced “Still in Love” was one of the tracks yielded during the album’s recording sessions.

Since “That Girl” was delayed indefinitely, the track in question was given to Girlicious for inclusion on their self-titled debut album [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records].

Fast forward to 2013, Flores has parted ways with Sony Music Entertainment. She’s still in active songwriter, though. Recent songwriting placements include “Here we Go” by Keyshia Cole [Universal Music Group / Geffen Records] and “Empty Words” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Nikki Flores has unveiled her debut album “This Girl” online.

The previously unreleased project contains 17 songs that were recorded between 2005 – 2008 along musicians Evan Rogers & Carl Sturken (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera), Ryan “Alias” Tedder (Adele Adkins, Beyonce Knowles), Richard “Biff” Stannard (Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue), Fernando Garibay (Britney Spears, Wynter Gordon), Alonzo “Novel” Stevenson (Joss Stone, Fantasia Barrino), Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Livvi Franc, Shontelle Layne) and The Jam: Michael Mani & Jordan Omley (Brandy Norwood, Leona Lewis).

Flores is currently pursuing a full time career as a songwriter under the direction of Sony / ATV Publishing, where she has been signed as a writer since 2006.

Shontelle confirms new single ‘Put Me on Blast’

Shontelle has confirmed the title of her new single.

The Barbadian singer/songwriter will release “Put Me on Blast” as the lead single from her upcoming as-yet-untitled third album, which will be released in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The track was written by Nikki Flores (Keyshia Cole, Elijah Blake), Corey Gibson (Rihanna, Estelle Swaray) and Greg Ogan (Britney Spears, Leona Lewis).

The new collection by Shontelle serves as the follow-up 2010’s “No Gravity.” That release debuted at number eighty one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered four hit singles in the shape of “Licky (Under the Covers),” “Impossible,” “Perfect Nightmare” and “Say Hello to Goodbye.”

Christina Aguilera unveils official songwriting credits for new album ‘Lotus’

Christina Aguilera has unveiled the official songwriting credits for her upcoming seventh album, “Lotus,” which is due in the United States on November 13 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead single “Your Body” was written by Tiffany Amber, Savan Kotecha, Martin Sandberg and Karl Johan Schuster. Production credits were handled by Max Martin and Shellback.

“Lotus” serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Bionic.” That release debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Not Myself Tonight” and “You Lost Me.”
