FKA Twigs drops sophomore album “Magdalene”

British singer/songwriter Tahliah Barnett, known professionally as FKA Twigs, has dropped her sophomore album under Young Turks Recordings.

“Magdalene” – featuring singles “Cellophane,” “Holy Terrain,” “Home With You” and “Sad Day” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2014’s “LP1” was prominently produced by Nicolas Jaar with additional contributions from Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Noah Goldstein, Skrillex, Jason Boyd, Koreless, Jack Antonoff, Kenny Beats, Sounwave, Oneohtrix Point Never, Arca, Jeff Kleinman, and Michael Uzowuru.

British singer/songwriter Tahliah Barnett, professionally known as FKA Twigs, has released her new single online.

“Sad Day” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was collectively produced by FKA Twigs alongside Nicolas Jaar (Daft Punk, The Weeknd), Benny Blanco (Halsey, Ed Sheeran), Skrillex (Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber) and Noah Goldstein (Teyana Taylor, Kanye West).

Twigs’ upcoming sophomore album “Magdalene” – featuring previous singles “Cellophane,” “Holy Terrain” and “Home With You” – is scheduled to arrive on November 8th via Young Turks Recordings.

Other contributors on the follow-up to 2014’s “LP1” are Cashmere Cat, Arca, Sounwave, Koreless, Jack Antonoff, Poo Bear, Oneohtrix Point Never, Kenny Beats, Ethan P. Flynn, Michael Uzowuru, and Jeff Kleinman.

FKA twigs has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The self-directed clip for “Home With You” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Monday (October 07, 2019).

The track – which was written and produced by twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) algonside Ethan P. Flynn – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Twigs’ upcoming sophomore album “Magdalene” – featuring previous singles “Cellophane” and “Holy Terrain” – is scheduled to arrive on November 8th via Young Turks Recordings.

FKA twigs confirms details for sophomore album “Magdalene”

FKA twigs has confirmed the details for her upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her second studio collection “Magdalene” and will release it on October 25 via Young Turks Recordings.

Current promotional single “Holy Terrain” (featuring Future) – which was collectively produced by Skrillex, Jack Antonoff, Sounwave, Noah Goldstein, and Kenny Beats – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

Besides confirmed collaborators Nicholas Jaar, Jeff Kleinman, Dave Ozuwuru and Jason Boyd, the follow-up to 2014’s “LP1” reportedly boasts further alliances with Rick Nowels, Sia Furler, and Levi Lennox.

Teyana Taylor premieres “Gonna Luv Me” Wu-Mix Video

Teyana Taylor has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The self-directed clip for “Gonna Love Me” – featuring Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon – was posted to the American singer, songwriter, and actress’ YouTube channel on Friday (December 14, 2018).

The track was co-written by Taylor alongside Denisia “Blu June” Andrews and Brittany “Chi” Coney of Nova Wav, who are also responsible for Beyonce’s “Shining,” Tinashe’s “Ooh La La,” Kehlani’s “Crzy,” Britney Spears’s “Hard to Forget Ya,” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Whole Lotta Woman.”

Production duties on “Gonna Love Me” – taken from Taylor’s latest studio collection “K.T.S.E.” (which is an acronym for Keep That Same Energy) – were collectively handled by Kanye West (Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson), Mike Dean (Madonna, Sky Ferreira) and Noah Goldstein (Drake, Christina Aguilera).

Teyana Taylor has liberated her sophomore album online.

“K.T.S.E.” – which is an acronym for “Keep That Same Energy” – is now available is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “VII” marks the final of five weekly albums produced by Kanye West in the “Wyoming Sessions,” following Pusha T’s “Daytona,” West’s “Ye” and “Kids See Ghosts” with Kid Kudi, and Nas’ “Nasir.”

On the highly-anticipated project, Taylor has also worked with producers and songwriters including Rodney Jerkins, Eric Bellinger, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Noah Goldstein, Mark Batson, Uforo Ebong, BoogzDaBeast, and Nova Wav.
