Kelly Clarkson has confirmed the details for her new single.
The American singer/songwriter christened “I Don’t Think About You” as the second promotional cut from her eighth studio collection “Meaning of Life,” out now via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
The track was co-written by Michael Pollack alongside Harloe, whose resume boasts additional works with Britney Spears (“Love Me Down”), Charli XCX (“Secret”), Olivia Holt (“Thin Air”) and Madison Beer (“Unbreakable”).
Production duties on “I Don’t Think About You” were handled by siblings Andre and Sean Davidson of The Monarch, who are also responsible for Rita Ora’s “How We Do (Party),” Cher Lloyd’s “Swagger Jagger,” Kevin McCall’s “Better,” Chris Brown’s “Biggest Fan,” and Jason Derulo’s “With the Lights On.”
“Meaning of Life,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart, yields further productions from Jesse Shatkin, Mick Schultz, Jason Halbert, Greg Kurstin, Nick Ruth, Jussi Karvinen, and NOVAWAV.
On the songwriting front, Clarkson has also worked with Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Priscilla Renea, James Morrison, Amy “AMES” Kunes, Molly Kate Kestner, Audra Mae, Ilsey Juber, and Katie Pearlman.
