Grace Carter releases new promotional single “Silhouette”

British singer/songwriter Grace Carter has released her new single online.

“Silhouette” – which was produced by regular collaborators George and Henry Flint of The 23rd – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Carter co-wrote “Silhouette” alongside Justin Parker, whose resume boasts additional works with Lana Del Rey (“Video Games”), Ellie Goulding (“I Know You Care”), Rihanna (“Stay”), Keith Urban (“Shame”), Kwabs (“Fight for Love”), Nikka Costa (“Arms Around You”) and Cloves (“Bringing the House Down”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Carter’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional singles “Silence” and “Ashes” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Fred Cox, Digital Farm Animals, Om’Mas Keith, Two Inch Punch, Max McElligott, Harry James, Kane “KIN” Parfitt, Paddy Byrne, Ilsey Juber, Francis “Eg” White, Jordan Riley, Fabienne Holloway, Martin Sjolie, and Philip Plested.

Tommy Genesis liberates new promotional single “Lucky”

Canadian singer, songwriter, and rapper Genesis Mohanraj, professionally known as Tommy Genesis, has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Lucky” is now available via is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Lucky” were handled by Jeff Gitty, whose resume boasts additional works with Kirby Lauryen (“Vain”), J. Cole (“Apparently”), Snoh Aalegra (“Walls”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Ex”), Jacob Banks (“Photograph”), Trey Songz (“She Lovin’ It”), Ledisi (“Here”) and Jeremih (“I Think of You”).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Genesis’ upcoming album “Genesis” – featuring further productions from Om’Mas Keith and Charlie Heat – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Downtown Records.

British singer/songwriter Grace Carter has enlisted Norwegian record producer Martin Sjolie for a new collaboration.

Sjolie recently co-wrote and produced “Strangers” for Norwegian recording artist Sigird, taken from her upcoming debut album under Island Records.

Sjolie’s resume boasts additional works with Maria Mena (“Where I Come From”), Nathan Sykes (“Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”), Markus Feehily (“Casablanca”) and Charlotte OC (“In Paris”).

Meanwhile, Carter is expected to release her upcoming debut project – featuring The 23rd-produced lead single “Silence” – later this year via Polydor Records.

Carter wrote “Ashes” with Adam Midgley, Gerrard O’Connell and Tommy Baxter of London-based group Ritual, who are also responsible for Dua Lipa’s “Hotter Than Hell” and Jasmine Thompson’s “Someone’s Somebody.”

Jorja Smith announces new single details

Jorja Smith has announced the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Beautiful Little Fools” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album and will release it on March 10 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For the still-untitled album, Smith has reunited with regular collaborators Maverick Sabre, Ed Thomas, and Felix Joseph.

Other musicians expected to appear on the highly-anticipated project are Benny Blanco, Laura Dockrill, Josh Record, Bruno Major, Joel Compass, MNEK, Chris Loco, Bradford Ellis, Two Inch Punch, KAYTRANADA, Salaam Remi, Om’Mas Keith, Nineteen85, Illangelo, and Noah “40” Shebib.

Yuna unveils music video for new single ‘Rescue’

Yuna has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

“Rescue” is taken from the Malaysian singer/songwriter’s latest studio album, “Nocturnal,” out now via Verve Music Group.

The track was written by Yuna along with regular collaborator Chris Braide, whose recent credits include “God Made You Beautiful” by Beyonce [Columbia Records] and “Perfume” by Britney Spears [RCA Records].

Braide is also known for collaborating with the likes of Lana Del Rey (“Million Dollar Man”), Diana Vickers (“Boy Who Murdered Love”), Christina Aguilera (“Blank Page”) and Kylie Minogue (“After Dark”).

“Nocturnal” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Chad Hugo (Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey), Robin Hannibal (Quadron, Gilles Peterson) and Om’Mas Keith (Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt).

Yuna reveals credits for new album ‘Nocturnal’

Yuna has revealed the songwriting credits for her upcoming studio album.

The Malaysian singer/songwriter will release “Nocturnal” in the United States on October 29 via Universal / Verve Music Group.

For the follow-up 2012’s “Yuna,” British songwriter and producer Chris Braide has contributed to the tracks “Rescue,” “Colors” and “Escape.”
