OneRepublic deliver new promotional single “Connection”

OneRepublic have delivered their new promotional single online.

“Connection” – which was written by group members Ryan Tedder and Brent Kutzle alongside Jacob Kasher, Noel Zancanella, and Zach Skelton – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

OneRepublic’s upcoming fifth album is scheduled to arrive later this year via Mosley Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “Oh My My,” which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Wherever I Go,” “Kids” and “Let’s Hurt Tonight.”

Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic hits the studio with Charlie Puth for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter and record producer Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic has teamed up with fellow recording artist Charlie Puth for a new collaboration.

Tedder recently co-wrote “Into It” for Camila Cabello alongside Justin Tranter, Adam “Frank Dukes” Feeney, Louis Bell, Kaan Gunesberk. The track appears on Cabello’s debut studio collection under Syco Music and Epic Records, “Camila,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Tedder’s songwriting/production resume boasts additional works with Ed Sheeran (“Happier”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Most Girls”), Molly Kate Kestner (“It’s You”), Jessie Ware (“Selfish Love”), Rachel Platten (“Labels”), Kygo (“Stranger Things”), Shawn Hook (“Dancing in the Sky”) and Grace Mitchell (“Riich”).

Meanwhile, Puth is scheduled to release his sophomore album “Voicenotes” – featuring singles “How Long” and “Attention” – on May 11 via Artist Partner Group / Atlantic Records.

His current promotional single “If You Leave Me Know” – which was co-written alongside Canadian recording artist Tobias Jesso Jr. and features guest vocals from Boyz II Men – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Rachel Platten announces details for new single

Rachel Platten has announced the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Broken Glass” as her next promotional single and will release it on August 18 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Rachel Platten alongside Jarrad Rogers (Rita Ora, Charli XCX) and Nate Cyphert (Phoebe Ryan, Christina Perri).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Platten’s upcoming fourth studio collection and second major label album is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Jon Levine (Kat Dahlia), Ryan Tedder (Hailee Steinfeld), Mick Schultz (Kelly Rowland), Jason Evigan (Nick Jonas), Warren “Oak” Felder (RAYE), Gian Stone (Fifth Harmony) and Jonas Jeberg (Selena Gomez).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Asia Whiteacre (Liza Owen), Sean Douglas (Demi Lovato), Fransisca Hall (Ella Eyre), Johnny McDaid (Harry Styles), Leland (Troy Sivan), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Madonna) and Scott Harris (Melanie Martinez).

American singer/songwriter Rachel Platten has enlisted Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Mick Schultz for a new collaboration.

Schultz’s production credits include Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex,” Zendaya’a “Replay,” SoMo’s “Show Off,” Jessie James’ “Psycho Girlfriend,” Jenna Andrews’ “Oil & Water,” Rihanna’s “Desperado,” and Lights’ “Giants.”

Meanwhile, Bogart previously co-wrote “Hey Hey Hallelujah” for Platten alongside Caroline Ailin, Zukhan Bey, and Emanuel Kiriakou. The Andy Grammer-featuring track appears on Platten’s 2016 album “Wildfire,” which peaked to number five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

His extensive resume boasts additional works with Madonna (“Ghosttown”), Britney Spears (“Love Me Down”), Rihanna (“S.O.S.”), Leona Lewis (“Happy”), Jesse McCartney (“My Baby”), Fleur East (“Love Me or Leave Me Alone”), Jason Derulo (“It Girl”), Demi Lovato (“I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me”), Lizzo (“Phone”), Olivia Holt (“History”) and ZZ Ward (“Domino”).

Madonna snags OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for new album

Madonna has snagged the songwriting and production services of Ryan Tedder for her thirteenth album.

The OneRepublic frontman recently co-wrote and produced “Ghost” for British singer/songwriter Ella Henderson along with regular collaborator Noel Zancanella. The track peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

His resume also includes works for Taylor Swift (“Welcome to New York”), Leona Lewis (“Bleeding Love”), Adele (“Rumor Has It”), Beyonce (“Halo”), Ellie Goulding (“Burn”), Maroon 5 (“Maps”) and Gwen Stefani (“Baby Don’t Lie”).

Meanwhile, Madonna’s forthcoming studio collection will be released next year via Live Nation and Interscope Records. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which spawned hit single “Give Me All Your Luvin.”

Other album contributors include Diplo (Sia, Britney Spears), Mozella (Tinashe, Miley Cyrus), Toby Gad (Alicia Keys, John Legend), Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX) and MNEK (Little Mix, Kylie Minogue).

Colbie Caillat unveils music video for new single ‘Hold On’

Colbie Caillat has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

“Hold On” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming third album with Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The track was produced by Ryan “Alias” Tedder, who previously teamed up with the artist on singles “Favorite Song” and “Brighter Than the Sun.”

Other notable credits by Tedder include “XO” by Beyonce Knowles [Columbia Records], “Neon Lights” by Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records], “Right Now” by One Direction [Syco Music] and “Rumor Has It” by Adele [XL Recordings].

In addition to the OneRepublic frontman, Caillat has enlisted Jason Reeves (Katharine McPhee, Angel Taylor), Kara DioGuardi (Christina Milian, Britney Spears) and Toby Gad (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland) for the new LP.

Caillat’s last studio album, 2011’s “All of You,” debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also included the Greg Wells-produced “I Do” and the Rick Nowels-assisted “Before I Let You Go.”
