M.O liberate new promotional single “Bad Vibe”

British group M.O – consisting of members Annie Ashcroft, Chanal Benjilali and Nadine Samuels – have liberated their new promotional single online.

“Bad Vibe” – featuring guest appearances from Lotto Boyzz and Mr Eazi – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji alongside Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman, whose other credits include Tinashe’s “Ghetto Boy,” Cheryl’s “Coming Up for Air,” Demi Lovato’s “Old Ways,” Kylie Minogue’s “Crystallize,” Betty Who’s “Better,” and Chris Brown’s “Don’t Be Gone Too Long.”

Production duties on “Bad Vibe” were handled by Daniel “Grades” Traynor, who is also responsible for Nao’s “Bad Blood,” Sinead Harnett’s “If You Let Me,” Aanysa’s “Burn Break Crash,” H.E.R’s “Lights On,” Fantasia Barrino’s “Wait for You,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” and Khalid’s “Winter.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, M.O’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional single “Not in Love” – is expected to arrive later this year via Operator Records in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

M.O premiere music video for new single “Not in Love”

M.O have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British girl group posted the visual clip for “Not in Love” – featuring Kent Jones – to their Vevo channel on Thursday (January 05, 2017).

The track was co-written by RAYE (born Rachel Keen), whose other credits include “All Cried Out” (Blonde), “After the Afterparty” (Charli XCX), “You Don’t Know Me” (Jax Jones) and “By Your Side” (Jonas Blue).

Production duties were collectively handled by Fred Gibson alongside Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen of Electric, who are also responsible for Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex” (2016) and Fleur East’s “Sax” (2015).

M.O – composed of Annie Ashcroft, Frankee Connolly and Nadine Samuels – are currently working on their upcoming debut album, which is expected to arrive later this year via Operator Records in parternship with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

M.O works with Dallas Austin for debut album

British group M.O – consisting of members Annie Ashcroft, Frankee Connolly and Nadine Samuels – have tapped the songwriting and production services of Dallas Austin for their upcoming debut album.

Austin recently co-wrote “FourFiveSeconds” for Rihanna along with Kirby Lauryen and Mike Dean. The Kanye West and Paul McCartney-assisted track peaked to number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

His other credits include works for TLC (“Creep”), Janet Jackson (“Just a Little While”), Deborah Cox (“Sentimental”), Madonna (“Secret”), Tamia (“Go”), Sugababes (“Push the Button”) and Pink (“Just Like a Pill”).

Meanwhile, M.O are expected to release their first studio collection – featuring singles “Preach,” “Dance on My Own,” “On Ya” and “Just For a Minute” – next year through Operator Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly delivers productions from MNEK (Little Mix), Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith), Joel Compass (Tinashe), Starsmith (Jess Glynne) and Bless Beats (Tinie Tempah).

M.O teams up with Tre Jean-Marie for debut album

M.O have teamed up with Tre Jean-Marie for their upcoming debut album.

Jean-Marie recently produced and co-wrote “Worst Kind of Love” for Shane Filan along with Karen Poole. The track appears on Filan’s latest album, “Right Here,” now available for download via East West Records.

His resume includes further works with Maverick Sabre [Mercury], Melissa Steel [Atlantic], Ben Haenow [Syco], Moko [Virgin EMI], Jason Derulo [Warner Bros], Craig David [UMPG] and Sigala [Ministry of Sound].

Meanwhile, M.O are expected to release their first studio collection – featuring singles “For a Minute,” “On Ya,” “Dance on My Own” and “Preach” – next year through Operator Records.

The still-untitled LP spawns additional alliances with Craze & Hoax (Kwabs), Bless Beats (Krishane), Jin Jin (Little Mix), Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre), Starsmith (Jess Glynne), Joel Compass (FKA twigs) and Parker Ighile (Rihanna).

M.O have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British band posted the Kate Moross-directed clip for “Preach” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (March 17, 2015).

“Preach” – available from April 26 – was co-written with Joel Compass (Lion Babe, FKA twigs) and Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne).

M.O’s debut album – featuring previous singles “Dance on My Own” and “For a Moment” – is scheduled for release later this year under Operator Records.

The still-untitled project boasts further collaborations with Two Inch Punch (Miguel, Sam Smith), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj), Bless Beats (Jess Glynne, Melissa Steel) and Craze & Hoax (Emeli Sande, Mary J. Blige).

M.O unleash new single “For a Minute”

M.O have unleashed their new single online.

The British trio – consisting of members Frankee Connolly, Annie Ashcroft and Nadine Samuels – posted “For a Minute” to their Official SoundCloud Page on Wednesday (February 27, 2014).

The track was co-written by Jess Glynne, whose best known for featuring on Clean Bandit’s chart topping single “Rather Be.”

Production duties were handled by Gareth “Bless Beats” Keane, who is also responsible for helming Wiley’s “Wearing My Rolex.”

M.O’s as-yet-untitled debut album – which will feature previous singles “Hot” and “On Ya” – is expected to be released later this year via Operator Records.

Among the musicians backing M.O on the project are Craze & Hoax (Leona Lewis, Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware), Parker Ighile (Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj) and Karl Gordon (Pixie Lott, Shaznay Lewis).
