Britney Spears drafts Sia Furler, Chris Braide for new single ‘Perfume’

Britney Spears has confirmed details for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Perfume” as the second promotional single from her upcoming eighth studio album, “Britney Jean,” out on December 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was co-written by Sia Furler, who has also contributed to the next albums by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Labrinth [Syco Music], Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records] and Mikky Ekko [RCA Records].

Production duties were handled by Chris Braide, whose credits include Beyonce [Columbia Records], Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Lana Del Rey [Interscope Records] and Cheryl Cole [Polydor Records].

Previous single “Work Bitch” – written by Britney Spears along with William Adams, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Antony Preston, Otto Jettman, and Sebastian Ingrosso – has peaked at number 12 on the US Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, “Perfume” will be available for download from November 11 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Britney Spears has unwrapped the official artwork for her upcoming album.

The singer/songwriter will release her eighth studio collection “Britney Jean” on December 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead single “Work Bitch” – written by Britney Spears along with Ruth-Anne Cunningham, William Adams, Antony Preston, Sebastian Ingrosso and Otto Jettman – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Britney Jean” will boast further songwriting contributions from Sia Furler (Beyonce Knowles, Celine Dion), Ester Dean (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson), Savan Kotecha (Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Chris Brown, Sevyn Streeter) and Emeli Sande (Katy Perry, Alicia Keys).

Production work on the follow-up to 2011’s “Femme Fatale” was handled by William Orbit (Madonna, Robbie Williams), Shahid “Naughty Boy” Khan (Jennifer Hudson, Wiz Khalifa), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland) and Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis (Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige).

Britney Spears has confirmed the title for her upcoming eighth studio album.

The singer/songwriter dubbed her new collection “Britney Jean” and will release it on December 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead single “Work Bitch” – available now for download via iTunes – was written by Britney Spears along with William Adams, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Antony Preston, Otto Jettman, and Sebastian Ingrosso.

Other tracks slotted for inclusion on the follow-up to 2011’s “Femme Fatale” are the Sia Furler-penned “Perfume” and the William Orbit-produced “Aliens.”

“Britney Jean” is confirmed to yield further productions from Darkchild (Ciara, Justin Bieber), Hit-Boy (Rihanna, Chris Brown), Dr. Luke (Kelis, Miley Cyrus), Sandy Vee (JLS, Taio Cruz) and Naughty Boy (Fantasia Barrino, Wiz Khalifa).

On the songwriting front, the “Ooh La La” star teamed up with Emeli Sande (Katy Perry, Alicia Keys), Charli XCX (Icona Pop, Marina Diamandis), Ester Dean (Usher, Kelly Clarkson) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna, Cheryl Cole).

Britney Spears has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Work Bitch” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming as-yet-untitled eighth studio album, which will be released on 3 December via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.
