Hamzaa hits the studio with Iain James, TMS

British singer/songwriter Hamzaa Malika, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has enlisted Iain James and TMS for a new collaboration.

James is responsible for co-writing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Sinead Harnett’s “She Ain’t Me,” Craig David’s “Officially Yours,” Leona Lewis’ “One More Sleep,” and Olly Murs’ “Unpredictable.”

Meanwhile TMS (composed of Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Benjamin Kohn, and Peter “Merf” Kelleher) co-wrote and produced cuts for Kamille (“Emotional”), Jess Glynne (“Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself”), Justine Skye (“Don’t Think About It”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”) and Paloma Faith (“Till I’m Done”).

Hamzaa’s debut EP “First Signs of Me” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The collection boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Future Cut (“Nothing Can Be Done”), Pantha (“Breathing”), Aston Rudi (“Saving Grace”), Jacob Attwooll (“You”) and Eddie Serafica (“Stranded Love”).

British singer/songwriter Hamzaa Malika, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has released her debut mini-album online.

“First Signs of Me” – featuring six songs in the shape of “Red,” “Breathing,” “Stranded Love,” “Nothing Can Be Done,” “Saving Grace” and “You” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The project also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Future Cut (Rita Ora, Nicole Scherzinger), Aaron “Pantha”Cowan (Emeli Sande, Kara Marni), Jacob Attwooll (Dua Lipa, Fleur East), Aston Rudi (Tamera Foster, Abi Ocia) and Eddie Serafica (Lily Moore, James Bay).

Kara Marni confirms details for debut mini-album “Love Just Ain’t Enough”

Kara Marni has confirmed the details for her upcoming debut EP.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first mini-album “Love Just Ain’t Enough” and will release it on May 10 via Access Records.

Current promotional single “Curve” – which was co-written by Talay Riley and produced by the Invisible Men – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to MNEK and Sebastian Kole, who co-wrote “Love Just Ain’t Enough,” the highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers additional contributions from Chris Loco, Frances, All About She, Arlissa, Fred Cox, Fabienne, Ollie Green, Harloe, Pantha, and Andrea Martin.

British singer/songwriter Kara Marni has delivered her new single online.

“Curve” – which was produced by Jonathan Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth of The Invisible Men – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was also co-written by Talay Riley, whose other credits include Khalid’s “Young Dumb & Broke,” Chris Brown’s “Zero,” Kelela’s “All the Way Down,” Ella Mai’s “Anymore,” Dua Lipa’s “Last Dance,” Britney Spears’ “Clumsy,” Nick Jonas’ “Levels,” and Craig David’s “Talk to Me.”

Marni’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional single “Golden” – is expected to arrive later this year via Access Records.

Kara Marni teams with Arlissa, All About She for new song “Just Us”

Kara Marni has revealed a new song from her upcoming debut project.

“Just Us” was written by Marni alongside fellow recording artist Arlissa and UK production duo All About She (composed of Jonathan Clare and James Tadgell).

Having previously collaborated with Arlissa on unreleased cuts “Crazy,” “Strangers,” and “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie;” All About She have also written songs with Calvin Harris (“Love Now”), VV Brown (“Bullet”), Sasha Keable (“Careless Over You”), Charli XCX (“Four By Four”), Karen Harding (“Starlight”), Imani Williams (“Got My Love”), Lauren Faith (“Love Can Wait”), Melissa Steel (“Making it Rain”) and Camden Cox (“Spirals”).

Meanwhile, Arlissa’s current singles “Love Was Made for Saving” and “Every Time I Breathe” – which was collectively helmed by Michael Pollack, Jeff Gitty, and William “Cook Classics” Lobban-Bean – are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Marni’s upcoming mini-album – featuring the Sebastian Kole-assisted / Invisible Men-produced lead single “Gold” – is expected to arrive early next year via Access Records.

Kara Marni drafts Laura Dockrill, Ollie Green for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Kara Marni has drafted Laura Dockrill and Ollie Green for a new collaboration.

Dockrill’s songwriting resume boasts works with Anne-Marie (“Karate”), MNEK (“More than a Miracle”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Javeon (“Give Up”), Dornik (“Drive”), Jessie Ware (“Small Talk”) and Courage (“Wild at Heart”).

Meanwhile, Green is known for co-penning and/or producing cuts performed by Frances (“Love Me Again”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Freya Ridings (“Maps”), Jones (“Indulge”), Leo Kalyan (“Daydream”), Alan Walker (“Tired”), John Gibbons (“Sunglasses in the Rain”) and Gavin James (“Hearts on Fire”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming project – featuring the Sebastian Kole-penned / Invisible Men-produced lead single “Golden” – is expected to arrive early next year via Access Records.

Kara Marni premieres music video for new single “Golden”

Kara Marni has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Golden” to her Vevo channel on Friday (September 15, 2017).

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Sebastian Kole (born Coleridge Tillman), whose other credits include Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Stanaj’s “Ain’t Love Strange,” Jada Grace’s “Believe,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bridges.”

Production duties on “Golden” were handled by The Invisible Men (aka Jon Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth), who are also responsible for Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Bebe Rexha’s “No Broken Hearts,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Britney Spears’s “Pretty Girls,” and Jonas Blue’s “By Your Side.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via First Access Entertainment / Access Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Maths Time Joy (Liza Owen), Chris Loco (Raleigh Ritchie), Pantha (Emeli Sande), Fred Cox (Dan Caplen), Lostboy (Nina Nesbitt), Ollie Green (Stephen Puth), MNEK (Dua Lipa), Shea Taylor (Ne-Yo) and Mac & Phil (Leona Lewis).
