Purple Ferdinand releases new single “Left to Fight”

British singer/songwriter Vanessa Ferdinand, known professionally as Purple Ferdinand, has released her new promotional single online.

“Left to Fight” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Paul Herman and Justin Broad, who previously teamed up with Ferdinand on “Wasn’t Taught to Love” (co-penned by Raleigh Ritchie), “Birds” (co-penned by Ed Thomas) and “Speak True.”

Ferdinand also co-penned Niia’s “California” alongside the song’s producer Robin Hannibal. The track appears on Niia’s debut album, “I,” out now via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Izzy Bizu teases new music in 2018

British singer/songwriter Izobel Birdshaw, better known by her stage name as Izzy Bizu, has teased new music from her upcoming project in 2018.

“Happy New Year Guys!!! 🎉😜 Just want to reflect on 2017 and say thank you to everyone who bought, streamed or came to see us jam last year and gave me these incredible stats 😘😘😘☺️ New music this year 🎤🎤🎤,” she posted to Instagram on Monday (January 01, 2018).

Bizu’s debut studio collection under Sony Music Entertainment UK / Epic Records, 2016’s “A Moment of Madness,” spawned singles including “Give Me Love,” “White Tiger,” “Mad Behaviour” and “Talking to You.”

In addition to regular songwriting partner Mika Baroux, that album also delivered contributions from Ian Barter (Purple Ferdinand), Justin Broad (Raleigh Ritchie), Paul Herman (Dido), Steve Chrisanthou (Corinne Bailey Rae), Jamie Scott (Anne-Marie) and Luke Juby (Emeli Sande).

As per ASCAP’s ACE Reportery, Bizu has recorded further songs with Isabella Summers (Ella Henderson, Maxine Ashley), Iain James (Craig David, Olly Murs) and TMS (Raye, Justine Skye). However, it is yet to be known whether these tracks are intended for her upcoming project.

Izzy Bizu shares music video for new single “Talking to You”

Izzy Bizu has shared the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Talking to You” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (February 01, 2017).

The track was written by Bizu – real name Isobel Beardshaw – alongside regular collaborations Paul Herman (Emeli Sande, Corinne Bailey Rae) and Justin “SumPunk” Broad (Raleigh Ritchie, Purple Ferdindad).

Bizu’s debut studio collection “A Moment of MadnesS” – featuring previous singles “Give Me Love,” “White Tiger” and “Mad Behaviour” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

In addition to Herman and Broad, the album also boasts contributions from Mike Spencer (Jamiroquai), Adam Argyle (Dua Lipa), Jamie Scott (Ed Sheeran), Luke Juby (Emeli Sande) and Steve Christanthou (Lianne La Havas).

Raleigh Ritchie announces details for new mini-collection

Raleigh Ritchie has announced the details for his new EP.

The British actor, singer, songwriter christened his next mini-collection “Mind the Gap” and will release it on December 16 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Mind the Gap” includes five new songs in the shape of “Motions,” “Sicko,” “Liability,” “StraitJacket” and current single, “Unicorn Loev.”

The project also reunites Ritchie – real name Jacob Anderson – with regular collaborators Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Camille Purcell), Paul Herman (Dido, Izzy Bizu) and Justin “SumPunk” Broad (Corinne Bailey Rae, Jessie J).

Izzy Bizu has released her first studio collection online.

“A Moment of Madness” – featuring singles “White Tiger,” “Mad Behavior,” “Someone That Loves You” and “Give Me Love” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Epic Records.

On the songwriting front, Bizu has teamed up with Mika Barroux, Jamie Scott, Luke Juby, Joseph Stoddart, Harry Rutherford, and Jimmy Hogarth.

Among the producers backing Bizu on “A Moment of Madness” are Mike Spencer, Paul Herman, Justin Broad, Ian Barter, Adam Argyle, Dan Grech-Marguerat, Steve Chrisanthou, John Beck, and HONNE.

Izzy Bizu has hinted at a new collaboration with Naughty Boy.

“Jamming a bit of Marvin Gaye with @NaughtyBoyMusic,” the British singer-songwriter tweeted on Tuesday (July 20, 2016).

Naughty Boy’s debut studio collection, “Hotel Cabana,” was released in 2013 via Virgin EMI Records. That collection peaked to number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “La La La” and “Lifted.”

The hitmaker – born Shahid Khan – also co-penned and produced songs for Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), Jess Glynne (“Saddest Vanilla”), and Emeli Sande (“Heaven”).

Meanwhile, Bizu is scheduled to release her first album “A Moment of Madness” – featuring singles “Give Me Love,” “White Together” and “Mad Behavior” – on September 22 via Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The keenly awaited project boasts contributions from Mika Barroux, Justin Broad, Paul Herman, Ian Barter, John Beck, Steven Chrisanthou, James Hogarth, Adam Argyle, Luke Juby, Jonny Lattimer, and HONNE.

Izzy Bizu has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer-songwriter – real name Isobel Bizu Beardshaw – is scheduled to release “A Moment of Madness” on September 2nd via Sony Music Entertainment UK.

Current single “Mad Behavior” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Bizu along with regular collaborator Mika Barroux.

The keenly awaited project boasts further contributions from Justin Broad, Paul Herman, Ian Barter, John Beck, Steven Chrisanthou, James Hogarth, Adam Argyle, Luke Juby, Jonny Lattimer, and HONNE.
