Kara Marni premieres music video for new single “Golden”

Kara Marni has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Golden” to her Vevo channel on Friday (September 15, 2017).

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Sebastian Kole (born Coleridge Tillman), whose other credits include Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Stanaj’s “Ain’t Love Strange,” Jada Grace’s “Believe,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bridges.”

Production duties on “Golden” were handled by The Invisible Men (aka Jon Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth), who are also responsible for Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Bebe Rexha’s “No Broken Hearts,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Britney Spears’s “Pretty Girls,” and Jonas Blue’s “By Your Side.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via First Access Entertainment / Access Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions from Maths Time Joy (Liza Owen), Chris Loco (Raleigh Ritchie), Pantha (Emeli Sande), Fred Cox (Dan Caplen), Lostboy (Nina Nesbitt), Ollie Green (Stephen Puth), MNEK (Dua Lipa), Shea Taylor (Ne-Yo) and Mac & Phil (Leona Lewis).

On the songwriting front, Marni has worked with Andrea Martin (Jordin Sparks), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Charli XCX), Amy Wadge (Mahalia), Sophie “Frances” Cooke (Meghan Trainor), Lauren Aquilina (Tamera Foster), Grace Tither (Ella Eyre) and Fabienne Holloway (Tori Kelly).

Hannah Jane Lewis releases new promotional single “Raincheck”

Hannah Jane Lewis has released her new single online.

“Raincheck” – which was written with Nicole Blair, Henrik Moreborg, and Tormod Lokling – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Lewis’s upcoming debut project is expected to arrive next year via Hot Hot Records in partnership with Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Karen Poole (Antigoni Buxton), Caroline Ailin (Ella Henderson), Anita Blay (Becky Hill), Lauren Aquilina (Mali-Koa) and Tom Aspaul (Celeste Waite).

On the production front, Lewis has worked with Lostboy (Elley Duhe), Jordan Riley (Nina Nesbitt), Dimitri Tikovoi (Charli XCX), Phil Cook (Liza Owen), KIN (Ella Henderson) and Mac & Phil (Tamera Foster).

JONES shares performance video for new song “Til We Get There”

JONES has shared a new performance video online.

The British singer/songwriter (real name Cherie Jones-Mattis) has posted the visual clip for “Til We Get There” to Mahogany Sessions’ YouTube channel on Tuesday (September 12, 2017).

The track was co-written with Wayne Hector (Craig David, Emeli Sande), Arnthor Birgisson (Taya, Leona Lewis), Phil Thornally (Melanie C, Pixie Lott) and Lukasz Duchnowski (Tina Arena, Kim Cesarion).

JONES’ upcoming sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin” is expected to arrive later this year via 37 Adventures.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Laura Dockrill (Elli Ingram), Tom Havelock (Aquilo), Rachel Furner (Sam Smith), Max McElligott (Rita Ora), Danny Shah (Zak Abel), Lauren Aquilina (Mali-Koa) and Ollie Green (Stephen Puth).

MAAD enlists Hannah Yadi, Lostboy for new single “Wonderland”

American singer, songwriter, model, and DJ Natasha Jihane Ferguson, known mononymously as MAAD, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Wonderland” – featuring Jimi Tents – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by MAAD alongside fellow recording artist Hannah Yadi, whose songwriting resume boasts further works with Tara Carosielli (“Leave You Lonely”), Frank Gamble (“J’adore”), Maxine Ashley (“Run from Reason”) and Zac Samuel (“Losing You”).

Production duties on “Wonderland” were handled by Lostboy (real name Peter Rycroft), who is also responsible for Gabrielle Aplin’s “Waking Up Slow,” Sarah Close’s “Call Me Out,” Lauren Faith’s “Let Them Talk,” Caitlyn Scarlett’s “Hell for a Honeymoon,” and Skinny Living’s “Why.”

On the follow-up to “Le Funk,” which was released earlier this year, MAAD has also worked with songwriters and producers including Fred Ball (Rihanna, Alicia Keys), Trey Campbell (Kiana Lede, Ella Henderson), GRADES (Raleigh Ritchie, Jessie Ware) and Chiara Hunter (Fleur East, Imani Williams).

L Devine has teased a new collaboration with Lostboy.

“Mint session with @lostboy_uk,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (September 5th, 2017).

The UK record producer and songwriter (real name Peter Rycroft) has previously helmed singles for Gabrielle Aplin (“Waking Up Slow”), Sarah Close (“Call Me Out”), Lauren Faith (“Let Them Talk”), KLOE (“Liability”), Gavin James (“Bitter Pill”), Skinny Living (“Why”) and MAAD (“Wonderland”).

Lostboy has also contributed to the next projects by Taya, Marlon Roudette, Amber-Simone, Elley Duhe, KStewart, Molly Rainford, Becky Hill, Dakota, Ella Henderson, Fleur East, Kara Marni, Tom Walker, Antigoni Buxton, Nina Nesbitt, Maverick Sabre, Hannah Jane Lewis, Ella Eyre, and Arlissa.

Meanwhile, L Devine’s debut project – featuring current single “School Girls” – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Brothers Records.

Sarah Close has teamed up with Martin Sjolie for a new collaboration.

The Norwegian pianist, songwriter and record producer has previously helmed songs for Maria Mena (“Where I Come From”), Sigrid (“Don’t Kill My Vibe”), Charlotte OC (“In Paris”), Janice (“Secrets”), Rachel Stevens (“Funky Dory”) and Nathan Sykes (“Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”).

Sjolie’s extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow songwriters and record producers including Caroline Ailin, Daniel “GRADES” Traynor, Emma Rohan, Iain James, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Tom Aspaul, Lindy Robbins, James “JHart” Abrahart, Tayla Parx, and Paddy Dalton.

Meanwhile, Close is expected to release her next project later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

Aplin’s upcoming mini-collection “Avalon” – featuring additional songs in the shape of “Say Nothing,” “Used to Do” and “Stay” – is scheduled to arrive on September 8 via Never Fade Records.
