Hamzaa teams with Fred Cox for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Hamzaa Malika, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has teamed up with Fred Cox for a new collaboration.

Cox is responsible for co-writing and producing Olivia Nelson’s “Back When,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Grace,” Kiah Victoria’s “Treat Me,” Chloe Leone’s “Comfortably Me,” Tanika’s “Fuck Boy,” Denai Moore’s “Leave it Up to You,” Heather Chelan’s “My Man,” and Zak Abel’s “Rock Bottom.”

Cox’s resume boasts additional works with Craig David, Ella Henderson, Janelle Monae, Maverick Sabre, Fabienne Holloway, Jaz Karis, Idris Elba, Grace Carter, Tori Kelly, Dan Caplen, Raye, Kara Marni, James Morrison, Amy Wadge, Fiona Bevan, Liam Bailey, Kenzie May, Anne-Marie, and Josef Salvat.

Meanwhile, Hamzaa’s debut EP “First Signs of Me” – featuring six songs in the shape of “You,” “Saving Grace,” “Nothing Can Be Done,” “Stranded Love,” “Breathing” and “Red” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her upcoming project – featuring productions and songwriting contributions from TMS (Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes) and Iain James – is scheduled to arrive next year via Parlophone Records.

Hamzaa hits the studio with Iain James, TMS

British singer/songwriter Hamzaa Malika, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has enlisted Iain James and TMS for a new collaboration.

James is responsible for co-writing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Sinead Harnett’s “She Ain’t Me,” Craig David’s “Officially Yours,” Leona Lewis’ “One More Sleep,” and Olly Murs’ “Unpredictable.”

Meanwhile TMS (composed of Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Benjamin Kohn, and Peter “Merf” Kelleher) co-wrote and produced cuts for Kamille (“Emotional”), Jess Glynne (“Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself”), Justine Skye (“Don’t Think About It”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”) and Paloma Faith (“Till I’m Done”).

Hamzaa’s debut EP “First Signs of Me” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The collection boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Future Cut (“Nothing Can Be Done”), Pantha (“Breathing”), Aston Rudi (“Saving Grace”), Jacob Attwooll (“You”) and Eddie Serafica (“Stranded Love”).

Little Mix liberate new promotional single “Told You So”

Little Mix have liberated their new promotional single online.

“Told You So” – which was written by Rachel “Raye” Keen alongside Eyelar Mirzazadeh and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Little Mix’s upcoming fifth album “LM5” – featuring previous singles “Woman Like Me” and “Joan of Arc” – will arrive on November 16 via RCA Records (UK) and Columbia Records (US).

The highly-anticipated project yields additional contributions from Kamille, Chris Loco, Sarah Hudson, Goldfingers, Rachel Furner, Electric, Jenna Andrews, Mike Sabath, TMS, Anya Jones, Jez Ashurst, and Timbaland.

Olly Murs has confirmed the details for his new album.

The British singer/songwriter christened his sixth studio collection “You Know I Know” and will release it on November 9 via Syco Music / RCA Records.

Current promotional single “Moves” – which was co-written by Ed Sheeran alongside Ammar Malik and Steve Mac – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “24 Hrs,” Murs has also worked with Steve Robson, Wayne Hector, Claude Kelly, TMS, Iain James, Caroline Ailin, Digital Farm Animals, Grace Barker, James Newman, Kamille, and Ed Drewett.

Little Mix enlist Nicki Minaj for new single “Woman Like Me”

Little Mix have announced the details for their new single.

The British girl group – composed of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – christened “Woman Like Me” as the first promotional cut from their upcoming fifth album under Syco Music (UK) and Columbia Records (UK).

The Nicki Minaj-featuring track – which was written by Jess Glynne alongside Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac – will arrive on October 12 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Glory Days,” Little Mix have also worked with songwriters including Rachel Furner, Justin Tranter, Shungudzo, Michael Pollack, Casey Smith, Boy Matthews, Jenna Andrews, Iain James, Sarah Hudson, Plested, Nija Charles, JHart, Eyelar, Sam Romans, and Kamille.

Among the producers expected to appear on the album are Banx & Ranx, Youthonix, Martin Sjolie, Goldfingers, Chris Loco, Electric, Captain Cuts, MNEK, Fred Ball, TMS, Red Triangle, Jez Ashurst, Tre Jean-Marie, and Freedo.

Olly Murs has confirmed the details for his new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Moves” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sixth album under Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The track – which was written by Ed Sheeran alongside Ammar Malik and Steve Mac – will arrive on September 28 via all digital streaming outlets.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “24 Hrs,” Murs has also worked with songwriters and producers TMS, Chelcee Grimes, Wayne Hector, Kamille, Claude Kelly, Iain James, Caroline Ailin, Jordan Riley, Grace Barker, Phil Cook, and Eyelar.

Mabel delivers new promotional single “One Shot”

Mabel has delivered her new promotional single online.

“One Shot” – which was co-written by Kelly Kiara and collectively produced by Gabriel “GA” Kusimo and  Jordan “JD” Reid and – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mabel is expected to release her upcoming debut album – featuring previous single “Fine Line” – later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional alliances with Snakehips, Joel Compass, Kid Harpoon, Cass Lowe, Bless Beats, MNEK, Jonny Coffer, Electric, Fraser T. Smith, Tre Jean-Marie, Jordan Riley, Lostboy, and TMS.
