Pixie Lott reveals artwork for third album

Pixie Lott has revealed the official artwork for her upcoming third album.

The British singer/songwriter will release the self-titled project in the first quarter of 2014 via Universal Music Group / Mercury Records.

Lead single “Nasty” was co-written by Cee-Lo Green, whose previous credits include “Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls [Interscope Records] and “Take Control” by Amerie [Columbia Records].

Production duties were handled by Jack Splash, who is also responsible for “Sometimes” by K. Michelle [Atlantic Records], “I Choose You” by Keyshia Cole [Geffen Records] and “Bones” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

Among the other musicians backing the “Mama Do” star on the new collection are Richard X (Will Young, Sam Sparrow), Hannah Robinson (Geri Halliwell, Lana Del Rey) and Alistair Tennant (Jessie J, Tulisa Contostavlos).

Pixie Lott’s last album, “Young Foolish Happy,” was released in 2011 and delivered hit singles “All About Tonight,” the Rusko-produced “What Do You Take Me For,” and the Mads Hauge & Phil Thornalley-penned “Kiss the Stars.”

Lea Michele enlists Anne Preven for debut album

LeaAmerican actress Lea Michele has enlisted the songwriting and vocal production services of Anne Preven for her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album.

Some of Preven’s recent credits include “Cuckoo” by Adam Lambert [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “What Do You Take Me For?” by Pixie Lott [Universal Music Group / Mercury Records] and “Remember December” by Demi Lovato [Disney Music Group / Hollywood Records].

Shall also collaborated with top musicians including Scott Cutler, Dallas Austin,  Phil Thornalley, Ryan “Alias” Tedder, Dapo Tormiro, John Fields, Paul Oakenfold, Christopher “Rusko” Mercer, Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes.

Meanwhile, the new collection by Lea Michele is confirmed to boast further alliances with Sia Furler (Rita Ora, Neon Hitch), Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson), Bonnie McKee (Nicole Scherzinger, Leona Lewis) and Josh Abraham (Fefe Dobson, Travie McCoy).
