Mary J. Blige reunites with Prince Charlez, Pop & Oak for new single “Only Love”

Mary J. Blige has released her new single online.

“Only Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Prince Charlez, who previously teamed up with Blige on singles “Love Yourself,” “Set Me Free” and “U + Me (Love Lesson),” taken from the 2017 album, “Strength of a Woman.”

Production duties on “Only Love” were handled by Pop & Oak, who also worked with Blige on “Wonderful” and “Kiss and Make Up,” taken from the original motion picture soundtrack, “Think Like a Man Too.”

Blige’s upcoming fourteenth album – featuring further contributions from Moses Samuels and Mikey Akinkunmi of Sons of Sonix – is expected to arrive later this year via Republic Records.

Betty Who writes new song with Phoebe Ryan

Betty Who has written a new song with Phoebe Ryan.

“POOL PARTIES W PHOEBE BUT ALSO WE WROTE A SONG,” the Australian singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram account.

Ryan previously co-wrote Melanie Martinez’s “Teddy Bear” [Atlantic Records] and Bea Miller’s “Young Blood” [Syco Music / Hollywood Records].

She also co-penned “Man on the Moon” for Britney Spears along with Ilsey Juber, Sterling Fox, Marcus Lomax, and Jason Evigan. The track is slotted for inclusion on Spears’ ninth LP, “Glory,” out on August 26 via RCA Records.

Ryan’s upcoming debut project – featuring singles “Chronic,” “Boyz n Poizn” and “Dollar Bill” – is expected to arrive later this year via Columbia Records.

Betty Who, on the other hand, is currently working on sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2014’s “Take Me When You Go.”

The still-untitled RCA project reportedly delivers productions from Toby Gad (John Legend), Robopop (Charli XCX), MSTR ROGERS (Ella Eyre), Martin Johnson (Avril Lavigne), and Pop & Oak (Kehlani).

On the songwriting front, Betty Who has teamed up with Simon Wilcox (Demi Lovato), Priscilla Renea (Nick Jonas), Fransisca Hall (Selena Gomez), Wrabel (Ellie Goulding), and Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony).

Jessie Ware debuts new single “Till the End”

Jessie Ware has debuted her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the audio clip for “Till the End” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (May 26, 2016).

“Till the End” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Ware along with Jamie Scott (Anne-Marie, Craig David), Sacha Skarbek (All Saints, Miley Cyrus) and Dave Okumu (Paloma Faith, VV Brown).

The track also marks the first promotional cut from the original motion picture soundtrack, “Me Before You,” out on June 3 via Interscope Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ware is currently recording new material for her upcoming third studio collection and follow-up to 2014’s ‘Tough Love.”

Alessia Cara has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Canadian singer-songwriter-guitarist posted the Aaron A-directed clip for “Wild Things” to her Vevo channel on Monday (March 07, 2016).

“Wild Things” was co-written by Sebastian Kole (Flo Rida, Jennifer Lopez) and Thabiso “Tab” Nkhereanye (Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige).

Production duties were handled by James “Malay” Ho, who also worked with Frank Ocean (“Lost”), Alicia Keys (“One Thing”), Tori Kelly (“Talk”), John Legend (“Green Light”) and Zayn Malik (“It’s You”).

Cara’s first studio collection “Know-It-All” – featuring previous single “Here” – is now available for download via Def Jam Recordings.

Other album contributors include Warren Felder (K. Michelle, Chris Brown), Andrew Wansel (Usher, Ariana Grande), Fredrik “Fredro” Odesjo (Christina Milian, Sebastian Guy) and Alan Nglish (Ginny Blackmore, Livvi Franc).

Jessie Ware has reunited with Andrew “Pop” Wansel for her third album.

Wansel previously co-produced and co-wrote “The Crying Game” for Nicki Minaj along with Ware and Steve “Aceface” Mostyn. The track appears on Minaj’s latest studio collection, “The Pinkprint,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

As the second half of production duo Pop & Oak with regular collaborator Warren Felder, Wansel recently helmed cuts for Alessia Cara (“Here”), Monica (“Alone in your Heart”), Fleur East (“Over Getting Over”), Kehlani (“Did I”), Tamia (“Sandwich and a Soda”), and Brandy (“Begging and Pleading”).

Meanwhile, Ware will release the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Tough Love” later this year through PMR Records and Island Records.

K. Michelle has scheduled the release date for her upcoming third album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Kimberly Pate – will release “More Issues Than Vogue” on March 25 through Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated collection follows 2014’s “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?,” which debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Current single “Ain’t You” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Hitmaka, Jeremih, Chi Hoover, Arin Ray and Drew Love. Production is credited to The Mekanics, Hitmaka, OZ and UC.

K. Michelle has revealed the details for her upcoming third album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Kimberly Pate – christened her next studio collection “More Issues Than Vogue” and will release it later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Not a Little Bit” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Kelly Price and produced by Anthony “Shep” Crawford.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?” reportedly features further songwriting contributions from Diane Warren (Beyonce), Sevyn Streeter (Ariana Grande), Priscilla Renea (Rihanna), and Ilsey Juber (Majid Jordan).

On the production front, K. Michelle has teamed up with Pop & Oak (Usher), Knox Brown (Mary J. Blige), Corporal (Ne-Yo), Eric Hudson (Omarion), The-Dream (Ciara), Harmony Samuels (Jojo), and Troy Taylor (Kehlani).

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Wild Things” as the second promotional cut from her debut album, “Know-It-All,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.

“Wild Things” was co-written by Sebastian Kole (Flo Rida, Jennifer Lopez) and Thabiso “Tab” Nkhereanye (Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige).

Production duties were handled by James “Malay” Ho, whose other credits include Alicia Keys’ “One Thing” [RCA], Frank Ocean’s “Lost” [Def Jam], Tori Kelly’s “Talk” [Capitol], and John Legend’s “Green Light” [Columbia].

“Not a Little Bit” – now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets – was co-written by Kelly Price (Faith Evans, Whitney Houston) and produced by Anthony “Shep” Crawford (Tamia, Deborah Cox).

As mentioned in earlier posts, K. Michelle’s upcoming third album is scheduled for release later this year through Atlantic Records.

Production duties on “Did I” – out now via iTunes – were handled by Pop & Oak, who are also behind Monica’s “Alone in Your Heart” [RCA], Fleur East’s “Over Getting Over” [Syco Music], and Alessia Cara’s “Here” [Def Jam].

Meanwhile, Kehlani is scheduled to release her first studio collection – featuring previous promotional cut “Tore Up” – next year through Atlantic Records.
