Melanie Fiona shares “I Tried” music video

Melanie Fiona has shared the music video for her new single online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I Tried” to her Vevo channel on Friday (October 09, 2015).

“I Tried” – out now via iTunes – was written by Fiona along with Sir Darryl Farris (Tyrese, Jill Scott) and Andre Harris (Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys).

Video treatment was handled by Carmen Murray, Melanie’s manager and Co-CEO of management company Title 9 Productions.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Fiona is expected to release her third studio collection “Awake” later this year through Title 9 Productions in conjunction with Primary Wave Music and BMG Rights Management.

Melanie Fiona has dropped the music video for her new single online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Bite the Bullet” to her Vevo channel Thursday (August 20, 2015).

“Bite the Bullet” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by BMG recording artist Midian along with Ryan Toby (Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige) and Andre Harris (Jill Scott, Mariah Carey).

The track also marks the first promotional cut from Fiona’s upcoming third album, “Awake,” slated to hit stores later this year through Title 9 Productions in partnership with Primary Wave Music and BMG Rights Management.

Other songwriters and producers backing Fiona on the follow-up to 2012’s “The MF Life” are Jack Splash (Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole), Andrea Martin (Jess Glynne, Ella Eyre) and Alan Nglish (Andreya Triana, CeeLo Green).

Deborah Cox announces new single “Kinda Miss You”

Deborah Cox has announced the details for her new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Kinda Miss You” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming studio album.

“Kinda Miss You” was co-written by Epic recording artist Jessica Ashley, whose also co-responsible for Madison Beer’s hit single “Unbreakable.”

Production duties were handled by Khristopher Riddick-Tynes and Leon Thomas of The Rascals, who also worked with Ariana Grande (“Honeymoon Avenue”) and Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment?”).

“Kinda Miss You” will be available for download from February 3 via Deco Recording Group / Primary Wave Music / BMG Rights Management.

Cox’s last album, 2008’s “The Promise,” peaked to number nine on the Canadian R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Beautiful U R.”

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Strong As Glass” in the United States on October 21 via Primary Wave Music / BMG Rights Management.

Lead single “Hey Boy” – featuring Snoop Dogg – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Among the musicians backing Goapele on “Strong As Glass” – which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Break of Dawn” – are Keith Harris, Lauren Hill, David “DQ” Quinones, Lance Tolbert, Estelle and Andre Merritt.

The singer/songwriter – born Goapele Mohlabane – is scheduled to release her fifth studio collection “Strong As Glass” in the United States on October 21 via Primary Wave Music / BMG Rights Management.

Lead single “Hey Boy” – written by British songbird Estelle Swaray along with Lauren Evans, Lance Tolbert, David “DQ” Quinones and Keith Harris – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

“Strong As Glass” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Break of Dawn,” which featured singles “Undertow,” “Tears on My Pillow” and “Play.”
