Mariah Carey has enlisted Prince Charlez and No I.D. for a new collaboration.

Charlez is responsible for co-writing Zedd & Liam Payne’s “Get Low,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Mary J. Blige’s “U + Me (Love Lesson),” K. Michelle’s “Talk to God,” Ella Mai’s “Who Knew,” and Tey Songz’s “Song Goes Off.”

Meanwhile, No I.D.’s production resume boasts works with Kanye West (“Bound 2”), Jhene Aiko (“To Love and Die”), Big Sean (“Control”), Melanie Fiona (“This Time”), Jay-Z (“Holy Grail”) and Drake (“Find Your Love”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Carey is expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse” later this year via Butterfly MC Records in partnership with Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Johnta Austin, Crystal Nicole, Eric Hudson, Priscilla Renea, and Diane Warren.

Priscilla Renea delivers sophomore album “Coloured”

Priscilla Renea has delivered her sophomore album online.

“Coloured” – featuring singles “Family Tree,” “Gentle Hands,” “Land of the Free” and “Let’s a Build a House” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2009’s “Dollhouse” yields contributions from Neff-U, Ashley Gorley, Brett James, Supa Dups, Frank Romano, Marti Fredrikson, Kevin Kadish, Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, and Honorable Cnote.

As a songwriter, Renea has penned songs for Kelly Clarkson (“Love So Soft”), Fifth Harmony (“Worth It”), Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”) and Rihanna (“California King Bed”).

Zhavia Ward enlists Shungudzo for new collaboration

Zhavia Ward has enlisted Shungudzo for a new collaboration.

The Zimbabwean/French/Native-American singer-songwriter (also known as Alexandra Govere) recently co-wrote and provided guest vocals on Rudimental’s “Toast to Our Differences,” out now via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Shungudzo’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Touch”), Alina Baraz (“I Don’t Even Know Why Though”), Victoria Monet (“Wish I Never Met You”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”), Jessie Ware (“Your Domino”) and The Chainsmokers (“It Won’t Kill Ya”).

Meanwhile, Ward’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertianment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields further contributions from Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown, Zaire Kaolo, Paul E. Phamous, Benny Cassette, Jenna Andrews, Wayne Hector, Priscilla Renea, Ben Abraham, Jin Jin, M-Phazes, Alex Hope, Symbolyc One, and Malay.

Keri Hilson has teased a new collaboration with Priscilla Renea and Danja.

“Great session w/ this 🏾 amazing talent Priscilla Renea & the man Danja! You’ll never guess who we’re writing for…again…🤐,” the American singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (June 5th, 2018).

Renea’s songwriting resume boasts works with Kelly Clarkson (“Love So Soft”), Fifth Harmony (“Worth It”), Rihanna (“Watch ‘N Learn”), Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”), Demi Lovato (“Fix a Heart”), Mary J. Blige (“Don’t Mind”) and Selena Gomez (“Who Says”).

Meanwhile, Danja (real name Nathaniel Hills) recently co-wrote and co-produced three songs on Justin Timberlake’s chart-topping album “Man of the Woods” – “Filthy,” “Say Something” and “Sauce.”

He also worked with Hilson on singles “Turnin’ Me On” (featuring Lil Wayne) and “Knock You Down” (featuring Ne-Yo & Kanye West), which peaked to numbers (15) and (3) on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, respectively.

Hilson’s upcoming third studio colleciton, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Zone 4 / Mosley Music / Interscope Records.

The highly-anticipated project, tentatively entitled “L.I.A.R,” an acronym for Love Is a Religion, reportedly boasts contributions from Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Chris Brown, Oren Yoel, Lauren Christy, Benny Cassette, and J. Que.

Dinah Jane has enlisted Michael Pollack for a new collaboration.

The American songwriter is known for co-penning Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Lauv’s “Bracelet,” Alina Baraz’s “Coming to My Senses,” Kelly Clarkson’s “I Don’t Think About You,” and Alec Benjamin’s “Let Me Down Easy.”

Having signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, Pollack has also contributed to the next projects by Little Mix, Alex Aiono, Dierks Bentley, Ben Platt, Ingrid Andress, Daya, and Andy Grammer.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Jane’s upcoming debut solo album is expected to arrive later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Imani Williams has teased a new collaboration with David Guetta.

“Writing for David Guetta today,” the British singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (May 07, 2018).

Williams previously co-penned “Won’t Forget You” for Pixie Lott alongside Sarah Blanchard, Richard Boardman, and Pablo Bowman of songwriting/production collective The Six.

Her upcoming project under Sony Music UK reportedly boasts contributions from The Electric, Anita Blay, Jonny Hockings, Maegan Cottone, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Natasha Bedingfield, Grades, Carla Monroe, Bless Beats, and Chelcee Grimes.

Guetta, on the other hand, is currently working on the follow-up to 2014’s “Listen” with songwriters Karen Poole, Chiara Hunter, Madison Love, Ali Tamposi, Scott Harris, Jin Jin, Kamille, Priscilla Renea, and JHart.

Jess Glynne has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “I’ll Be There” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Friday (May 04, 2018).

Co-written with fellow recording artist Kamille and collectively produced by Starsmith alongside Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen of The Electric; “I’ll Be There” is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Glynne is scheduled to release her second studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.
