Dinah Jane confirms details for new single “Missed a Spot”

Dinah Jane has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Missed a Spot” as her next promotional cut and will release it on April 3rd via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Missed a Spot” was co-written by Maureen “MoZella” McDonald (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson), Lisa Scinta (Tinashe, Sabrina Claudio) and Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Rihanna, Gwen Stefani).

Jane’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “SZNS” (w/ A Boogie wit Da Hoodie), “Retrograde,” “Lottery” and “1501”– is expected to arrive later this year via L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment label.

Other album contributors include Danja, Livvi Franc, M-Phazes, Amy Allen, Electric, Victoria Monet, Rob Knox, Modesty Lycan, Nic Nac, Priscilla Renea, Jussifer, Michelle Buzz, Oak Felder, and Delacey.

Dinah Jane has released her new single online.

“Lottery” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Olivia “Livvi Franc” Waithe, who also penned songs for Rihanna (“What Now”), Demi Lovato (“Two Pieces”), Ciara (“Overdose”), Selena Gomez (“Save the Day”), Leona Lewis (“Shake You Up”), Kelly Clarkson (“The War is Over”) and Zara Larsson (“What They Say”).

Production duties on “Lottery” were handled by Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, who is also responsible for Britney Spears’ “Gimme More,” Justin Timberlake’s “My Love,” Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down,” Pink’s “Sober,” Madonna’s “4 Minutes,” Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous,” and Mariah Carey’s “Migrate.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jane’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “SZNS” (w/ A Boogie wit Da Hoodie) and “Retrogade” – is expected to arrive later this year via L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment label.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features additional productions and songwriting contributions from Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, MoZella, Lisa Scinta, Electric, Amy Allen, Rob Knox, Victoria Monet, Nic Nac, Priscilla Renea, Jussifer, Michelle Buzz, Oak Felder, and Delacey.

Production duties on “Lottery” were handled by Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, who previously worked with Britney Spears (“Gimme More”), Justin Timberlake (“My Love”), Keri Hilson (“Knock You Down”), Pink (“Sober”), Madonna (“4 Minutes”), Nelly Furtado (“Promiscuous”) and Mariah Carey (“Migrate”).

On the songwriting front, Jane has worked with Amy Allen (Zhavia Ward, Sam Smith), Delacey (Halsey, Zara Larsson), Michelle Buzz (Katy Perry, Olivia Holt), Victoria Monet (Ariana Grande, Jordin Sparks), Priscilla Renea (Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson) and Lisa Scinta (Tinashe, Hailee Steinfeld).

The track was co-written by Jane alongside Maureen “MoZella” McDonald (Tinashe, Pia Mia), Lisa Scinta (Hailee Steinfeld, Sabrina Claudio) and Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jane’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous single “SZNS” (w/ A Boogie wit Da Hoodie) – is expected to arrive later this year via L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment label.

Ray BLK releases new single “In My Bed”

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, known professionally as Ray BLK, has released her new single online.

“In My Bed” – which was co-written by Adrian McLeod and produced by Toddla T – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Ray BLK’s upcoming project under Island Records UK, which follows 2018’s “Empress,” reportedly features further contributions from Fred Ball (Rihanna, Mariah Carey), Jin Jin (Raye, David Guetta), Arrow Benjamin (Beyonce, Alicia Keys) and Priscilla Renea (Madonna, Charlie Puth).

Eric Hudson teases new collaboration with H.E.R.

Eric Hudson has teased a new collaboration with H.E.R.

“Me and @hermusicofficial made a classic tonight! I brought my bass with me …#backtowork #shesagenius #classicsonly,” the American record producer and songwriter posted to Instagram on Friday (July 19, 2019).

Hudson’s resume boasts works with Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), John Legend (“We Just Don’t Care”), Omarion (“Entourage”), Whitney Houston (“Worth It”), Trey Songz (“Without a Woman”), Brandy (“Bring it Back”), Justin Timberlake (“Morning Light”), Mary J. Blige (“Why”) and August Alsina (“Benediction”).

Meanwhile, H.E.R.’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Racks” (which was co-written by fellow recording artist Tiara Thomas and collectively produced by Jeff Gitty, Ronald “Flippa” Colson and Ali P) – is expected to arrive later this year via RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from Andre Harris, Prgrshn, LunchMoney Lewis, MNEK, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Priscilla Renea, Stint, Hue Strother, D’Mile, Varren Wade, Ambre, Trey Campbell, Bryan Michael Cox, Stacy Barthe, Neff-U, Supa Dups, and The Stereotypes.

H.E.R. also provided guest vocals on the track “I Don’t Want Your Money,” taken from the Ed Sheeran’s latest studio collection, “No. 6 Collaborations Project,” which is out now via Atlantic Records. The track was written by Sheeran alongside Joe Reeves, Fred Gibson, and Paul “Nineteen85” Jefferies.

American singer/songwriter Gabi Wilson, known professionally as H.E.R., has shared her new promotional single online.

“Racks” – featuring YBN Cordae – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Tiara Thomas and collectively produced by Jeff Gitty (Brandy, Lianne La Havas), Ronald “Flippa” Colson (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Ali P (Kehlani, Jason Derulo).

As mentioned in earlier, H.E.R.’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from Andre Harris, Prgrshn, LunchMoney Lewis, MNEK, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Priscilla Renea, Stint, Hue Strother, D’Mile, Varren Wade, Ambre, Trey Campbell, Bryan Michael Cox, Stacy Barthe, Neff-U, Supa Dups, and The Stereotypes.

H.E.R. also recorded a cover of Aretha Franklin’s “Think,” taken from the motion picture soundtrack, “What Men Want.” The track was produced by Ryan Tedder (Adele, Leona Lewis) and Zach Skelton (Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes).
