Fleur East hits the studio with Fiona Bevan

Fleur East has recorded new music with Fiona Bevan.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for East’s upcoming sophomore album or a planned re-release of her first studio collection.

Bevan is responsible for co-writing “Little Things” for One Direction along with Ed Sheeran. The Jake Gosling-produced track debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number thirty-three on the US Singles Chart.

The British singer-songwriter’s resume boasts further works with 5 Seconds of Summer (“Voodoo Doll”), Ben Haenow (“One Night”), Laura Welsh (“Sex and Violence”) and Billie Marten (“Heavy Weather”).

Meanwhile, East’s debut album “Love, Sax and Flashbacks” – featuring singles “Sax” and “More and More” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Her upcoming project reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting contributions from M-Phazes (Keyshia Cole), Taylor Parks (Ariana Grande), Raja Kumari (Gwen Stefani) and Maegan Cottone (Little Mix).

Gwen Stefani debuts new single “Make Me Like You”

Gwen Stefani has debuted her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the audio clip for “Make Me Like You” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (February 11, 2016).

“Make Me Like You” was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who previously teamed up with Stefani on hit single “Used to Love You.”

Production duties were handled by Mattman & Robin, who have also worked with Hailee Steinfeld (“Love Myself”), Selena Gomez (“Hands to Myself”), DNCE (“Cake By the Ocean”), and Tove Lo (“Moments”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stefani will release her third album “This is What the Truth Feels Like” on March 18 through Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2006’s “The Sweet Escape” boasts further contributions from Stargate (Beyonce), Raja Kumari (Fifth Harmony), Jonathan Rotem (Britney Spears), Rick Nowels (John Legend), and Greg Kurstin (Lana Del Rey).

Gwen Stefani unwraps artwork for new album “This is What the Truth Likes”

Gwen Stefani has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming third album.

The singer-songwriter will release “This is What the Truth Feels Like” on March 18 through Interscope Records.

New single “Make Me Like You” was co-written by Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Britney Spears) and Julia Michaels (Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato), with production from Mattman & Robin (DNCE, Hailee Steinfeld).

Other LP contributors include Stargate (Shakira, Coldplay), Raja Kumari (Fifth Harmony, Fall Out Boy), Jonathan Rotem (Rihanna, John legend), Greg Kurstin (Sia, Adele) and Rick Nowels (Dido, Lana Del Rey).

Moreover, the target edition of “This is What the Truth Feels Like” includes four additional songs in the shape of “Rocket Ship,” “Getting Warmer,” “Obsessed” and “Splashed.”

Stefani’s last studio collection, 2006’s “The Sweet Escape,” peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Wind it Up,” “Sweet Escape,” “4 in the Morning” and “Early Winter.”

She also provided guest vocals on the latest releases by Calvin Harris (“Together”) and Maroon 5 (“My Heart is Open”). The latter was written by Adam Levine along with Sia, Benjamin Levin, Rodney Jerkins, and Andre Lindal.

Gwen Stefani has revealed a new song title from her upcoming third album.

“Used to Love You” is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2006’s “The Sweet Escape.”

The track was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who are also behind Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic], Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope] and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [Epic].

Production duties on “Used to Love You” were handled by Jonathan Rotem, who is also behind Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Syco], Meghan Trainor’s “No Good for You” [Epic] and Nicki Minaj’s “Marilyn Monroe” [Republic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stefani is expected to release her forthcoming album – featuring previous singles “Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark the Fire” – later this year through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts further alliances with Benny Blanco, Charli XCX, Cashmere Cat, Ryn Weaver, Calvin Harris, Sia Furler, Ryan Tedder, Noel Zancanella, Raja Kumari, Greg Kurstin, and Mattman & Robin.

Iggy Azalea unwraps credits for debut album “The New Classic”

Iggy Azalea has unwrapped the credits for her upcoming debut album.

The Australian rapper – born Amethyst Kelly – is scheduled to release “The New Classic” on April 22 via Universal Music Group / Island / Def Jam Recordings.

New single “Fancy” – which features Charli XCX – was produced by 1st Down and The Invincible Men, who are also responsible for Ellie Goulding’s “Flashlight” [Polydor Records] and Katy B’s “Next Thing” [Columbia Records].

Other album producers include The Messengers (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber), Stargate (Kelly Rowland, Jessica Sanchez), Benny Blanco (Rihanna, Lea Michele) and The Arcade (Conor Maynard, Nicola Roberts).

On the songwriting front, “The New Classic” yields alliances with Planet VI (Candice Glover, Keri Hilson), Raja Kumari (Conor Maynard, Nire AllDai) and Katy Perry (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson).
