Amanda Reifer teams up with Charlie Heat for new single “Bang Bang”

Bajan singer/songwriter Amanda Reifer has released her new single online.

“Bang Bang” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Charlie Heat (real name Ernest Brown), whose other credits include Christina Aguilera’s “Accelerate,” Kanye West’s “All Day,” Madonna’s “Holy Water,” Tommy Genesis’ “100 Bad,” Sevyn Streeter’s “Prolly,” and Travis Scott’s “Piss on Your Grave.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Reifer’s upcoming project – featuring previous promotional  singles “Haunt You,” “Ransom” and “Girl Like Me” – is expected to arrive later this year.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features further contributions from Banx & Ranx (Ella Eyre, Kiana Lede), Diztortion (Sasha Keable, Hailee Steinfeld) and Supa Dups (Mary J. Blige, John Legend).

Awa Santesson-Sey drafts Aston Rudi for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Awa Santesson-Sey, known mononymously as Awa, has drafted Aston Rudi for a new collaboration.

Rudi recently co-wrote “Do Not Disturb” for Atlantic recording artist Mahalia alongside Alastair O’Donnell, Felix Joseph, Aston Rudi, and Jonny Lattimer. The track is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Rudi’s resume boasts additional works with Sophie Faith’s “Bad Blood,” Hamzaa’s “Saving Grace,” Jaz Karis’s “Petty Lover,” Anais’s “Nina,” Elli Ingram’s “Table for Two,” Ray BLK’s “Gone,” and Abi Ocia’s “Konfyt.”

Meanwhile, Awa is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further alliances with Diztortion, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Levi Lennox, Nina Nesbitt, Steve Booker, Lauren Aquilina, Kasper Larsen, Molly Rainford, Luke Fitton, Candace Shields, Scott Effman, Linnea Sodahl, Marlon Roudette, Kelly Kiara, and Michael Angelo.

Becky Hill releases new promotional single “I Could Get Used to This”

Becky Hill has released her new promotional single online.

“I Could Get Used to This” – which was collectively produced by Mark Ralph and Richard “Weiss” Dinsdale – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was also co-written by Hill alongside regular collaborators Ryan Ashley (Samantha Mumba, Christina Aguilera), Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue) and Michael Kintish (Jojo, Eric Saade).

Hill’s debut album – featuring previous single “Sunrise in the East” (which was co-written by Maverick Sabre and collectively produced by Lostboy, Hitimpulse and ADP) – is expected to arrive later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from The 23rd (Ellie Goulding), Rachel Furner (Craig David), Diztortion (Melissa Steel), Plested (Little Mix), Ed Drewett (Sinead Harnett), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Ollie Green (Stephen Puth) and Karen Poole (Louise Redknapp).

Kamille teases new collaboration with Pharrell Williams

British singer/songwriter Camille Purcell, known mononymously as Kamille, has teased a new collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

“When @pharrell likes a song u wrote but u never got to tell him thank u,” Kamille posted to Instagram on Monday (March 18, 2019).

Williams’s recent songwriting and production credits include Ariana Grande’s “The Light is Coming,” Travis Scott’s “Skeletons,” Janelle Monae’s “I Got the Juice,” Camila Cabello’s “Sangria Wine,” Justin Timberlake’s “Man of the Woods,” and The Carters’ “Apeshit.”

Meanwhile, Kamille is expected to release her upcoming project and follow-up to 2017’s “My Head’s a Mess” later this year via Virgin EMI Records.

She has also contributed to the next releases by Sam Smith, Tiesto, Lianne La Havas, Dan Caplen, Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Dua Lipa, Mullally, Nick Jonas, Ray BLK, Stormzy, Liam Tomlinson, and Years & Years.

Besides Pharrell Williams, Kamille has also been in the studio with producers Goldfingers, Steve Mac, Fraser T. Smith, Invisible Men, Cass Lowe, Jamie Scott, T-Collar, Nana Rogues, Diztortion, Naughty Boy, Louis Bell, SG Lewis, Al Shux, Levi Lennox, Shama Joseph, and Sons of Sonix.

Raye teams with David Guetta for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Rachel Keen, professionally known as Raye, has teamed up with David Guetta for a new collaboration.

The French DJ and record producer’s resume boasts works with Kelly Rowland (“Commander”), Sean Paul (“Mad Love”), Rihanna (“Fresh Off the Runway”), Ne-Yo (“Who’s Taking You Home”), Lady Gaga (“Fashion”), Britney Spears (“Body Ache”), Nicki Minaj (“Turn Me On”) and Jessie J (“Laser Light”).

Guetta’s latest studio collection “7” – featuring guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Anne-Marie, Sia, Madison Beer, Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, and Jess Glynne – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets. The project debuted at number thirty-seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and peaked to number nine on the UK Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Raye is expected to release her next project and follow-up to 2018’s “Side Tape” later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Besides writing songs for other artists, Raye has also recorded new music with songwriters/producers including Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Mike Sabath, Kennedy Lykken, Justin Tranter, Ian Kirkpatrick, Sarah Aarons, Diztortion, Julia Michaels, Warren “Oak” Felder, Ilsey Juber, and Julian Bunetta.

British singer/songwriter Melissa Steel has teamed up with Rodney “Rymez” Hwingwiri and Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett for a new collaboration.

Rymez recently produced the entirety of Stefflon Don’s current project under Polydor Records, “Secure,” which features guest appearances from Future (“What You Want”), DJ Khaled (“Win”), Sean Paul (“Hurtin’ Me”), Ebenezer (“Uber”) and Tiggs Da Author (“Pretty Girl”).

Meanwhile, Jin Jin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jess Glynne (“Hold My Hand”), Tinie Tempah (“Not Letting Go”), Jax Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”), Yebba Smith (“Evergreen”), Raye (“Decline”), Little Mix (“Grown”), Kiesza (“Don’t Want You Back”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Alien”).

Steel’s upcoming project, on the other hand, reportedly delivers further contributions from Banx & Ranx, Caitlyn Scarlett, Ill Blu, Grace Ackerman, Alex Adair, Grace Barker, Knightstarr, Lekenah, TobyShyBoy, Dyo, Maestro Tha Baker, Chiara Hunter, ADP, Lauren Aquilina, and Diztortion.

Amanda Reifer has released her debut solo single online.

“Girl Like Me” – which was produced by T-Ray Armstrong  and Barry Hill of DreadHawk Productions – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Reifer’s upcoming project reportedly delivers further contributions from Banx & Ranx (Dua Lipa, Ella Eyre), Diztortion (Becky Hill, Caitlyn Scarlett), Boi-1da (Normani, Jessie Reyez) and Jeremy Skaller (Kiana Lede, Jay Sean).

As a member of Bajan quartet Cover Drive, Reifer topped the UK singles chart with the Ina Wroldsen-penned/Quiz & Larossi-produced “Twilight,” taken from the group’s debut album under Polydor Records, “Bajan Style.”
